I need some help ASAP with my internet explorer

Hey fellas, whassup? (:

I got a problem with my internet explorer or something, my favorites have all been deleted and replaced with these advertising and **** sites, and my homepage too. When I delete the favorites and change my homepage it sticks, until I turn my computer on again. I tried ad-aware, spyware-blaster, and my anti-virus with no success. By the way, the creation date of the favorites is the time windows last loaded.
I really need a hand with this cos sooner or later dad might restart the computer and that would be bad if ya know what I mean...

Any help appreceated, thanks alot in advaned.

I've had my homepage been changed to a search engine and various things added to my favorites (and even search toolbars added by various spyware) but not anything that bad. I pity you...
Maby you should try Spybot- Search and Destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org). I found it catches some spyware that ad-aware does not.

Check what is running when your computer starts up. Start->Run->"msconfig"

In the tab farthest to the right, disable any programs you don't need. Remember that nothing in here is system-critical, so disabling it will not cause disaster. If adware scanners cannot detect anything, you might need to go through this in a guess-and-check manner until you determine what program is causing this.

Ad aware didn't help, spybot S&D didn't work (am trying again), norton AV didn't work, spyware blaster didn't work, I have cleaned the list of startup programs of all junk and nothing helped!

Run it in safemode and then try S&D and ad-aware I guess.

Or find all your installation CD's, back up all your documents, and prepare for a full wipe.

Go into Dos mode and delete everything you don't recognize. It helps to have a list of the files vital to running Windows.
