Installing Custom Levels [MAC]

Hello. I have the Mac version of Jazz JackRabbit 2 (v.1.2.8) and I hear that the levels that pc user's make still work for Mac. I downloaded Blades Battle Pack but once I download them I get a Folder with a bunch of files named this
AztecBattle.j2l
AztecBattle2.j2l
BetonBattle.j2l
BetonBattle2.j2l
RocksBattle.j2l
RocksBattle2.j2l
GlacierBattle.j2l
GlacierBattle2.j2l
DesertBattle.j2l
DesertBattle2.j2l
Aztec.j2t
Beton.j2t
Beton Night.j2t
Rocks.j2t
Glacier.j2t
Desert.j2t
Azworld.j2b
Mysterious.j2b
Qsystem51.j2b
Dreamland.j2b
Splanet.xm
ReadMe

Where do I put this stuff? In my JJ2 folder I have....(f means folder.)
f Cache
f Data
Jazz Jackrabbit 2™ Application v1.2.8
f Jazz Manual
f Movies
f Music
f Plugs
f Tiles
And some saved games and Logfiles.

I will appreciate any help on installing custom levels.

If I remember right it should be in the directory with all the other *.j2l files. Which should be /data.

I'm not 100% sure though. You might need to put the j2b and xm files in the music directory. And the j2t files in the tiles directory.

Well I put the Tile files in the Tiles Folder and the Music files in the Music folder and the .j2l files in data but it just crashes. So I put everything in Data and it works. But there is no music for the new levels. Also the custom battle levels appear in all the custom level party games and in the homecooked levels for Single Player. I don't want to sound annoying but I really want to have custom levels work perfectly.

I don't know about the music issue. Does it happen with all levels, or just one level? There may be an incompatibility issue with the level using an XM file.

And the PC version shows all level types in the home cooked section as well. There's nothing you can do about it.

The .j2l and .j2t (and if any .j2e) files go into the Data folder. The music goes into the Music folder (thats .j2b, .mod, .s3m, .it, .xm). I cant realy remember but i think my copy of Jazz2 mac had issues with xm files.

I own a mac, btw.

P.S. This place has changed!

I own a PC, but I still have an old mac in my room. I used to play that thing for hours when I was younger before we got a PC. Anyway I used to have JJ2 on my mac and Matrix is 100% right! Thats deffinatly where all the files go!
