Is it possible to edit the jazz or spaz animations and put different sprites into them? Whether you can or can't, or can with lots of hacking, I'd like to know.

Changing the sprites for yourself made sprites is not possible. Unless you are able to create something to edit the anims.j2a.

There is NO WAY norton commander would be able to edit the .j2a file. It is heavily encrypted and has pointers everywhere. To edit the sprites you would also possibly corrupt the file and have JJ2 not like it.

Do you know the "Black & White Model Viewer"?

You can see and modify the 3d Models from "Black & White". Perhaps somebody could try to make something like that for Jazz Jackrabbit 2...

I can't, because I'm too silly to do that.

*cries again*

Something like that would be nearly impossible without source code for the .j2a file is so heavily encrypted.

If you can figure it out, then go ahead

My only idea is that they might be related to flic animations somehow.

I would think that flic would be very different. I think flic is just a compressor for an avi file.
