Hey, I have a question. I put the colours used by the textured BG on the proper places in the palette but the background STILL looks ugly in 8bit.
Here is a screenshot of the palette:

This is the textured BG in my tileset

And this is how it looks in 8bit in the game

Could anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Using custom colors instead of jj2 colors is absurd.
