Hope this is the right place to ask, but was there ever an answer or explanation for the missing item on Tubelectric 2?

This is with the original CD + expansion anyway (the earlier / same as the demo exit sign). There are definitely some levels that get buggy and state 0% for one stat, but I didn't know about this being old news too.

Dunno, but DD at least seemed to think it was a bug.
