Why didn't you check the FAQ to begin with?

If you are a warez person like me, download it, but you know the reprocutions. If you want to pay, then pay. Downloading is illegal, because its still abandonware.

You can play on the internet if you download the patches here:

There is no such thing as "can't mess with it".

Your ISP disallows you to mess with your own router? That kinda sounds infringing. Or, whatever word would fit in that last sentence properly.

No, you shouldn't need that. That's why port forwarding exists. So you can use one ip.

And if you're talking about proxies, you can find many free ones.

No, it's reasonable in some cases. If the ISP supplies the router then they're perfectly within reason to put whatever restrictions they like on it. It's a bit like the way BT don't allow you to fiddle with the master socket.

(for non-English: BT are the phone company in the UK. They supply one phone socket, and wiring from that to their exchange. That wiring and socket are their responsibility, and woe betide anyone who messes with it. Anything else, like phones, extensions and microfilters are your responsibility, and they don't care what you do with them as long as you only use approved stuff and dont kill their system)

You should download the shareware version and play the single player episode. If you like it enough, buy the game.

What trash ISP is that?

BTW, since you asked "Is it worth buying". Yes IMO, if it is $10 or less, preferably $5 or less. But I lean more toward: "hell no, download it"...I have mixed feelings.

Epic / Internet retailers / the retail stores do not deserve you buying it from them, unless they sold it for a price like what I said above.

Now if you are still bent on buying it, hop a copy off eBay (if you can), the only place truly worth buying it from. Now it would be really cool if you can find a "New & Sealed / Unopened" version.
