Next JDC Season

Upon the urging of people in this forum I decided I would poll the people here on when they wanted JDC up again.

I'd prefer summer since that's the time when most people have enough time for dueling and events. I don't think much people will be Active during the winter/spring season because of school, homework and other reasons.

This summer is fine for me. I can't host many euro events during the rest of the year anyway. However, if it should happen to start sooner than planned, i'll do what i can.

I'll admit I'm biased, because I have enough free time to play it all year.

Well, if you start the next season, it could end up being a waste of time, because not everybody has the time to participate (sp?). But, I'm all for it starting soon.

I voted for Never. The reason why is because I don't really like JDC and when you want to talk to someone, you almost always find them doing something to do with JDC. I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but I can vote for whatever I want.

So, White Rabbit, you are saying that JDC makes everyone really busy, right? I understand wht you mean, but surely not EVERYONE is busy at once.

Maybe we could split JDC into two divisions? One focused on dueling, the other on weekly events. Any thoughts?

Weekly events? Couldn't they be more often than that? If I recall, we had an event every few days last season.

I am only guessing. Regardless of the number of events, what do you think about the idea of splitting the league in two?

I have to disagree. I think a cash prize would turn the competition from being a friendly competition for improving skills into a greedy race for money.

He means the bankrobbery event, in case you're wondering. I think. Maybe he's a crook.

That would be boring. A whole tournament based on 2 per team bankrobbery? No.

Also, you will probably need an official or so to moderate it, because there is always problems with the time and the scoring after time's up at BR...

Make up your mind. First you say all the "no-noobs" don't play, then you name a few people and say all the other good players do play. Which will it be? I think i remember one or two CC members dropping by in events, just not very often.

People can compete in JDC whenever a season is going on, regardless of their skill, clans or favourite ice cream flavours. (unless you'd get caught cheating, but that's not too hard to figure out ;-P) It's just as simple as that.

I don't think it ever was that "friendly" it was more a race to gain braging rights to the game, but we all know that OutLawUOI had those no matter what.

Did you play the last two seasons? In my opinion, and probably also in most others, it wasn't a fight for ranks.

I dueled for ranks, heck, I think im the reason they banned duels to 100

Espio should remember that.

Either way, it was extremely enjoyable, like when I can get all my friends online to play a game of sc, its kinda like that. R-E-L-A-X, don't do it, unless you wanna go through it!

:-D

btw, what is new anyway

JDC:Elimination. It was supposed to be a tournament system, but it failed in its first season.

If I dueled for ranks, I would hate JDC. I duel for fun.
