In case anyone missed it on the JMMB , Palette Suite 2.20 is available here.

Important new features:

-You can select the opacity when you paste, using Advanced Paste.

-You can now load palettes from and save palettes to both Jazz 1 and Jazz 2 screenshots.

P.S. This is my first post on the new board!

Oh man, you guys have no Idea how helpful this little proggy is. For those of us that used to edit palettes in PSP7 the hard way will only appreciate it.

Let me tell you how I used to make palettes for tilesets.

1. I make most stuff in 16-bit (to make it look better of course with the ability of more effects that can be added to it), and then convert it to 256 colors. I would then be stuck with a Jazz2 palette and the seperate palette. In psp7 the only way to put the one palette into the other is the hard way. I wrote down every code of the colors in the seperate palette on a piece of paper. After that I had to enter in that code for the color to be added into the Jazz2 palette ONE BY ONE.

With this proggie I can just copy all the colors and paste them into the Jazz2 palette wherever I like. And lets say a bunch of colors look too dark, I can select them and brighten them all up by selecting some values (in PSP7 you have to manually change the color code and lots of ppl don't know how it works), or vice-versa. Apart from that I can smack and swap around rows in the palette wherever I want (copy the code on paper, and then type it in the new place). One of my favourite parts in the program is the ability to make gradiencies between colours with a few clicks of the mouse, PERFECT for that textured background. Before that you had to manually edit and figure out the values between the colors and put them in. Lemme demonstrate, this is an example of a gradiency between red and green, a VERY easy one.

FF0000

EE1100

DD2200

CC3300

BB4400

AA5500

996600

887700

778800

669900

55AA00

44BB00

33CC00

22DD00

11EE00

00FF00

Notice the pattern? Oh well, that's not too important right now, it could've ben a lot more difficult. In Jazz you need a 32 gradiency, and that was only a 16. Also, imagine if the two colors were not FF0000 and 00FF00, but something like 3A67F2 and B10F39. It's practically impossible to do it manually, and a mistake could make an icky background.

That's just some of the features, there's loads more, but mostly I only use those. Oh yes, I almost forgot, one of the features of the proggie is to manually edit your little blocks one by one, for those who are insane enough to like the old way

I've got an idea! All registered users that have JCS must make a level as a membership fee for the JCF!

Now we have to pay CASH?

*Pelts Dizzy with rotten tomatoes*

OK, will um... 354.44 do? It is all I have in my account at the moment.

I would prefer just having to pay levels, though.

I might.. someday..

When I get a new computer (probably Christmas :/) this one will likely be my personal machine and then Linux will go on here, and then I'd love to be able to make tilesets in Linux. I wonder if the GIMP is as good as PSP for tilesets.. :/

Anyhoo.. Um.. My answer to your question: Yes.

Anyhoo.. I'd still like it.
