WtF this?!
Its castle.j2b converted to .it :@
In gamemaker used default game – but changed sprite pictures !!
Mmm, I’m finding myself agreeing with Kax. The concept was fine. Your mission was to use the mouse to click on one of the floating Jazz heads (changeable heads with certain key clicks). But the game was pretty basic. Not much skill involved, you could’ve maybe deducted points for missing, because it was very easy just to fire wild eratic [spelling isn’t my forte] shots until they hit something. Music would’ve been nice, maybe some detail on the playing field. I got 33 points in a minute and a half, so improvement definitely.
Still, it is fun to mess around with if you ever get bored, and it’s easy to master. But, an ingame readme instead of a text file would sure have been nice. I guess I’ll give you a 2.0, with much room for renovation. No download recommendation, at least not right now.
Cheers!

This is a bad lvl remake of Battle 1 :/
Too much ammo, the eyecandy is very bad…
I dont recommend to download this.
[Review changed to quick review. – cooba]
…Not realy cool…
very much weapon and carrot
1). include the tileset
2). how hard is it to set the good jj2 version ffs.
3). i don’t like it at all.. try to make your own level
This is a bad remake of Battle1. Eyecandy is extremely bland. Layer 4 is very repetitive and the only background is the textured one in Layer 8.
There are far too many Carrots. Why so many in one room?
Also, why the additional ammo? There’s too much.
I give you credit for placing Springs in the Copter area but this is still not a good level.
Oh no… Did making this take even 5 minutes? Where is eyecandy? Hurt doesn’t work in multiplayer. It seems the platforms have been just copy-pasted around this. There is lot to improve, but I think you might someday succes in making a level.
You have just changed the gamemakers easiest tutorial’s ball sprite to Jazz’s head. This rating is that bad because you have literally done nothing in that game yourself. Head is ripped from JJ2, wall and engine are stolen form the GM tutorial.
This isn’t a very good level at all, as it looks like the author made it in 10 minutes. There is no eyecandy aside from layers 4 and 8. All the level consists of is platforms up the yin yang, and one straight area at the bottom leading to some hooks that get you back up.
Cub I am sorry for it I did not test it but I am struggling along quickly to correct and I charge it again!!! and I say thank you for it!!!
OK, so this is another attempt for me at reviewing music. Lets see how this goes.
THE REVIEW
There is hardly any noticable changes here in this music. I tested this song out in Winamp, ModPlug Tracker and of course JJ2.
When I played it in Winamp, it sounded completely different with some annoying squeaky noises in the background and the notes that are normally heard have changed to some kind of synthesiser sounds. It does still sound like the Castle music but it’s missing some of the other samples that can also be heard in the original.
However, when I tried out the music using ModPlug Tracker and JJ2 itself, I was shocked to notice that the music is EXACTLY the same as in the “Castle.j2b” music file. I could not hear the sounds I was hearing using Winamp.
Good attempt at trying to make a remix of the Castle music but unfortunately the differences are only noticable in Winamp, meaning that this is unusable in a level in JJ2.
THE VERDICT
I’ll give you a 3 for effort just because you managed to remix the music but the strange squeaking noises in the background were kind of annoying and also because you failed to get it working in ModPlug and JJ2.
SCORE: 3.0
DOWNLOAD?
I cannot recommend this for download because although this isn’t a bad remix, it just doesn’t work in JJ2 or ModPlug as I have mentioned before.
NO RECOMMENDATION
EDIT – Response to DAEMON: No problem =)
