Definitely my most successful level pack to date. It has a style very different from most levels, as you’ll see if you download it. It includes three levels and three tilesets, although the tilesets are rather limited. The tilesets were made mostly in Bryce 3D. Received three stars at J2C. People generally tend to enjoy the graphics, but many dislike this pack due to the levels’ small size. Download it and see for yourself, if you haven’t already.
An earlier version of this upload was submitted to Jazz2City; download it here.
When people join a battle server using this pack, the normal reaction is "WOW!!!". This reaction is caused by three very awesome 3Dish tilesets.
They look so d-a-m-n cool. Of course, i’m not sure if anyone will ever be able to make a different looking level (different from the three 3dbattles) with one of those tilesets. But that doesnt take away anything from my rating.
I even like the design and size of the levels very much. They fit perfectly for, lets say, a duel and you’ll have some plain battle fun (yay!) when three or more rabbits join. Furthermore, the lack of eyecandy doesnt matter, the tileset is eyecandy enough :-)
Conclusion: I think this pack is a classic that noone should miss (-> Download!).
The thing that gave these levels/tilesets such a high rating was the tilesets. They RuLe. :-) I had lots of navigation problems in the levels themselves, though. Bah, nothing much to say about this. I can’t 100% say this gets a download reccomendation from me, though…
this pack is great.
it has the best graphics ever attempted in j2, and noraa did a good job of combining the graphics AND blocks properly placed to make a sweet level!
It seems to need custom music in my mind tho.
The thing I love about these levels is the uniqueness of the idea. These levels are the only ones that use tilesets in that way (download it and see), and the gameplay isn’t bad in them either.
Points were taken off because the tilesets are too limited to use. You could have at least made the background seperate from most of the objects (spheres, blocks, ect) so levels created with them wouldn’t be so similar to the ones in this pack.
I think would give the tilesets a 1 on functionality because it’s non-existant. It is not possible to make your own levels with them. The whole tilesets are just three big pictures with a mask. They look very good though.
The levels, though, are great. I would give them a 9.
So don’t download this for the tilesets, but definitely download this for the levels.
Ninja’s explanation is very good..the tilesets were created for a very specific purpose, and just don’t serve (at least in a way that makes sense, as far as I can see (:) as regular tilesets for this reason. But that doesn’t make it bad, on the contrary, it’s awesome. (:
Hey, this is great! Cool level design, thanks to the tilesets. Nice work, Noraa.
Only one little thing to complain, the corners.
I love the 3D battles!!!
Me 2 :)
The levels are fun, it’s just like you’re playing in some 3D game with 2D gameplay and characters. The tilesets are, as everyone said, DA
Anyway. I’ll shapddap and give you this FAT 8.0 ;)
I Like 3D battles very but the music… I got a sick of this here in this levels.
This is realy a li’ll l33t pack that nobody out there should miss! The levels are realy cool, especialy because of the tilesets. The tilesets where most likely not created to make custom level with, just for these 3 levels. I’m not gonna decrease my rating because of the tilesets. Its a big o’ll 8.5 from me. Eat it.
Nice tileset, the level isnt bad either but it a little small and platforms a bit too close together.
Awesome!
Wow! Wat an nice level! Wat an nice music! Only the first level is a bit small…
Ok, i remember downloading this a while ago, butjust forgot to rate it.
The tilesets are 3D (duh), but like some people mentioned, they were meant only for the 3 levels made along with them, and other than that they’re almpst useless. The levels are good, some things the author should of avoided (some platforms were to close) but the levels really look 3D and awesome. Unfortunately, they are very small, and there isnt much to explore. They are really worth a download and are cool, so my final rating would be a 7.7. Download this if you want to see your little 2d bunnny traveling through the 3D world. :)These are very, very nice, but I can’t exactly say they have very good gameplay, or good weapons placement. The graphics took extremely fantastic, and the mask is amazing (except in the first battle, which you can get stuck in towards the level). Battle2 has extremely cool water ;p There aren’t enough levels here – make more, and make better gameplay for a better rating.
This is a Perfect Level …
(Unsupported rating (10) removal. For one thing, it’s actually three levels … ~Violet)
Very, VERY cool tilesets, but the levels are too small!
Please make bigger levels!
(I’d like to see you try. Unsupported rating removal edit. ~Violet)[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]
