Coming straight to the point:
As a big event for Jazz's 10th, we could make a JJ3.. for JJ2.
What I mean to say is that we could take the story and the music directly from JJ3 to make a great single-player level pack, kind of like a replacement for JJ3...
It sounds far-fetched, but it's definitely possible, I think. And it would definitely be a worthy thing for such a great year.
What we'd have to do is the following:
1. We need someone to direct it all, which is definitely not me, as I suck at such things.
2. We'd have to find out whether the JJ3 mods actually work in JJ2 levels.. I don't have JJ2 on this computer, so I can't right now, unfortunately.
3. About the tilesets, I'm not totally sure, but would it maybe be possible to rip tiles from the JJ3 demo and modify them to fit into a tileset? If that doesn't work, we could still make our own...
4. Since JJ3 was never finished, there are still a lot of parts missing. Maybe even parts of story. We need people to do everything concerning those missing parts, story, music, tilesets.
5. Most importantly, we need to determine a team of the best level-makers we have.
I know, you don't see me suggesting something like this every day, it was just a quick idea, but think about it: It CAN work. We have more than enough talented minds around here to make this project a huge success.
So. What do you think?
