Hmm, it's about time I came home, no matter what people here think of me. I've had enough with jumping hedgehogs.

Rename me to: FoxBlitzz

Speeza
Feb 12, 2008, 03:53 AM
I don't want my name changed , but could use change my formerly tag to "The Jamster" as I don't feel its needed to change my jazz2online name.

NoirUnipine
Mar 8, 2008, 10:03 AM
"NoirUnipine" please. Never again, I promise.

No really, I swear on my life.

No kidding.

Sonyk
Mar 17, 2008, 01:56 PM
I humbly request my name changed back to Sonyk, please. No formerly is necessary.

Ricerind
Apr 9, 2008, 12:16 PM
I formally request that this name hereby be altered into the state of being 'Ricerind'. I would like to use this account again (instead of 'Caffne') as it is my oldest account. I don't like looking new.

Thanks in a humble manner.

EDIT: Requested name changed to 'Ricerind'. One less name in the list :)

ThunderPX
May 7, 2008, 02:28 AM
Hey, change mine back to ThunderPX please. Formerly probably won't be necessary since I never really posted while I had this name.

PurpleJazz
May 18, 2008, 02:20 AM
Could I please have my formerly tag removed? I don't really see any need for it seeing how it was such a minor change, and I haven't been known under that name for over a year now.

GoldRabbit
Jun 20, 2008, 07:12 AM
ThunderBirD to GoldBunny, please. It's my actual name and I want it here too.Formerly tag forever.

Speeza

Stijn
Jul 19, 2008, 03:25 PM
I don't see any reason to make that change, Speeza. Sorry, denied.

Could I lose the formerly field please?

TechnoPauluz
Nov 15, 2008, 11:04 PM
Hey I Would like the first and 7th letter in my name bigger technopauluz into --> TechnoPauluz

That would be lot of better

Stijn
Nov 23, 2008, 05:05 AM
Hunter: I don't see why.

The rest: Done.

Stijn
Nov 23, 2008, 05:26 AM
No, a good reason would be that you are generally known by a totally different nickname, or that there's fancy characters/capitalization you want removed, or that your current nickname would otherwise create confusion.

We've been more lenient in the past, but we felt it got a bit out of hand with all the username changing, so it isn't as easy as it used to be :)

Nonomu198
Nov 23, 2008, 05:31 AM
Heck, avatar changes confuse me more than usernamename changes. Consider restricting!

*only half sarcastic*

Stijn
Nov 23, 2008, 05:46 AM
Oh, I thought you allowed nickname changes for the users' convenience and to prevent useless multi accounting. And I just don't want to use hunter as a nickname here any more, that's all. I'm not married to this nickname you know.
That, I'm afraid, is not our problem. It might be in your best interest to change your nickname, but it is at least slightly confusing for all other users.

It appears lots of people have changed their nicknames with no reasoning at all
Before we changed policies, yes.
but you've decided to change that for no apparent reason (Users are allowed to change their names on 5 mounts period or so, I don't think it costs you much effort to do this, does it.)
It's easy to do, but leads to confusion. Read the first post. As said, we changed the policy because names were changed so often (and sometimes frivolously, like "Tha Bling Bling Rabbit") that it became annoying.

Stijn
Nov 23, 2008, 06:06 AM
My answer was final. Changing your username is a privilege, not a right.

TechnoPauluz
Nov 24, 2008, 04:49 AM
Tnx for the name change :D

CrimiClown
Nov 24, 2008, 05:10 AM
If anyone could be bothered, please fix the second C (CrimiClown) and remove the ™. I can't find the ™ mark in Linux. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Yes thank you. :)

Odin
Nov 26, 2008, 11:33 AM
Considering that the only name changes allowed now are typo corrections and similar edits, would it be okay if I gradually changed my name from Odin to Marty Chang, one letter at a time, over the course of 50 months?

Nonomu198
Nov 27, 2008, 04:24 AM
strating with chaging Odin's name to Admin

DarkB
Apr 27, 2009, 11:47 AM

May I change my username to DanZeal.
I am probably more known as that.
Seeing that i got my username on j2o changed.

Raven aka StL
Aug 10, 2009, 02:56 PM
I have no idea what the heck's up with this thread now, but...

Please rename me to "Raven" whenever you can. I am more known as that than as St. Louis these days anyway.

I highly doubt that (http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/member.php?u=1623)
your change will (http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/member.php?u=1124)
be permitted. (http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/member.php?u=5693)

<li>If a user with your desired new username already exists, your name can not be changed. Whether that other user is active or not does not make a difference.</li>

I'm not sure if the same rules apply with JCF name change requests, however.

Grytolle
Aug 11, 2009, 03:14 AM
Please rename me to "Raven" whenever you can. I am more known as that than as St. Louis these days anyway. You're best known as Emperor, then Wallace, then St. Louis.

Raven aka StL
Aug 11, 2009, 09:37 AM
In fact, "StL a.k.a Raven" would be nice (and 100% problem-free to boot).

@Gry: Not quite. Hardly anyone knows who "Wallace" is and people are more used to "emp" than that other bs. Just forget it.

FQuist
Aug 11, 2009, 10:00 AM
Do you (always) play JJ2 as Raven? Otherwise, I do not see it as a necessity to shorten your known username (st. Louis) for an unknown one (StL) just to add another name, which I'm not sure would be OK.

Raven aka StL
Aug 11, 2009, 10:13 AM
These days and from here on, yes, I use the name "Raven".
I wouldn't bother with it without reason. :)

Also, since there apparently is a user with that name, "StL a.k.a Raven" would be good.

FQuist
Aug 11, 2009, 10:45 AM
These days? If that's just very recent, I suggest you ask back in a while. Right now you are known under "St. Louis".

Raven aka StL
Aug 11, 2009, 03:14 PM
These days? If that's just very recent, I suggest you ask back in a while. Right now you are known under "St. Louis".

Just so you know, I wouldn't ask for a change like that on a whim. I'm not that stupid. I have a solid reason for asking for something like this. :)

Also, a while back there was a "Tha Bling Bling Rabbit" name change... I really wonder if that's even 30% as appropriate a change as mine is. No one ever knew jack about a name like that.

EDIT: Furthermore, this forum is directly linked to the huge part of the community that (actively) plays the game online, and since I've used that name online for some time, and will for ages... It's not like people won't know who I am or anything of that sort.

And if that "Raven" guy who more than likely has gone totally inactive ages ago presents a problem. Then my name could just be "StL a.k.a Raven" to erase even that sand-grain of a setback. ;)

FQuist
Aug 12, 2009, 04:24 AM
Stl a.k.a. Raven removes your currently known username from the equation (StL? Seriously?) so it does not remove the setbacks.

I've asked you to define "recently" and "some time". Instead of going on rants, why don't you just do so? This name changing process should just take one post, but you're drawing it out real long. Longer and I'll just not bother.

Arguments don't help here, just abiding by the rules. (one thing, Tha Bling Bling Rabbit was BEFORE the new rules). So just do so.

To be fair, "StL" is just as well known an abbreviation as "gry" (though I use "emp" a lot more)

Raven aka StL
Aug 12, 2009, 10:58 AM
It's not like a post lacks good points the moment it can be considered a rant.

I've used that name for over a week now... everyone who is anyone knows it's me.
I will use it for ages (as in 2 years at the very least unless something insane happens)
I am well known by the "StL" abreviation as I also use that on msn (and have used for several months).

A week? I suggest you ask again in a few months then. I believe your and Gry's point of "StL" being okay and will keep that in mind in the future. (note: discussion about this will not work. The point has been decided. Next time please just be open from the start so that we don't need a long back- and forth)

Hunter: you haven't been using Hunter online for a while. Have you been using Ivo, though?

Raven aka StL
Aug 12, 2009, 05:20 PM
*insert a 200% reasonable 5-page long protest here* and with that, I'll wait a couple of months, not that there's a solid reason why I should have to. :|

Suika Ibuki
Aug 26, 2009, 02:44 PM
Is there anyone else who requests at the very minute it becomes midnight on the day you can have your name changed? XD

Anyhow... If my math is correct, four months from Feb. 18 is Jun. 18, so...

Requested Name Change: Suika Ibuki

And, if taken...

Backup Requested Name Change: Suika.

Treylina
Nov 1, 2009, 03:53 AM
Ah okay, now this is the right place to change my forum name. What an idiot am I. Anyway, I would like to get my forum name changed to Treylina, because well I no longer use the name Tragley (people would keep mistaking me for a guy you see) and Treylina is also the name I now use on JJ2 the game itself. =)

TheKax

Change my name to:
TheKax

I'm more used to it and I use only it to play online, so people will better recognize me. If you could, make me have the "formerly" field forever (due to my j2o account still being Kax. BTW, can it be changed somehow?).

You can edit your own posts; I've changed mine, but I will not edit Bagger's or Hybrid's. You'd have to ask them to do it.

I'll remove the formerly field if I remember to, if not feel free to remind me.

"spejsboi"

Spare
May 2, 2011, 01:26 PM
To quote my J2O request:

Can I have my name changed from "Spare" to "EggsBaconSausage"? (If that's too long then "EggsBaconHam") Because really, Spare? I don't know what I was thinking of back then! :( I know it doesn't look like a valid request, but I'd love to get rid of that name, it's actually a shame for me, and I was kind of a rush. Is it possible?

Pretty please?

Violet CLM
Nov 21, 2011, 04:38 PM
"Violet CLM"
It's the name I use essentially everywhere in the world wide web. Calling myself something different here is just diluting my brand.

Soulweaver
May 24, 2013, 03:08 AM
Somehow I missed this thread completely. Since circa Xmas 2010, I've been known pretty much everywhere in the Internet as Soulweaver, so I'd prefer if I could have my name changed here to that as well :p

I'd also like to keep the "formerly also known as" field even after the first month has passed.

Stijn
May 24, 2013, 03:14 AM
Done. You might want to change your custom User Title now ;)

Soulweaver
May 24, 2013, 03:21 AM
Yup. Thanks :p

Oct 24, 2013, 11:55 AM
Can you change my name to abraker?

Torkell
Oct 28, 2013, 10:21 AM
Right, I've done the above name change requests (RedComputer -> MrAlextov, RedJazz -> HorvatM, Artem -> zepect, dOLDIZ -> abraker). Let an admin know after one month if you want your Former Username field removed.

MrAlextov
Oct 29, 2013, 08:08 AM
Thank you for changing from my horrible Nickname to a new Nice nickname.

DennisKainz
Jan 11, 2014, 04:24 PM
Same request I did on J2O name change thread. Changing my username from "Gus" to "DennisKainz" (my real name and surname).

Slaz
Jan 12, 2014, 07:28 AM
Now that I think about it, could an admin please remove the 'Former Username' field for me?

It's been there for years, and old tags don't really help with identification or anything. :p

Louis K
Mar 20, 2014, 11:41 PM
5..5 months?!..
I can't wait that so long!..:(

But the rule is rule, so I'll never mind of this..:x

Then, may I change the name that wogh180 to Louis K after july 6th?
(Louis K was my nicname in Korea. So I want to use this name instead former one.)

P.S. if name is changed then, ID is also changed? or not?

VashMM
May 2, 2014, 12:10 PM
Posted in the J2O name one as well, my request is pedantic but, it seems to have not let me register with capital letters.

Could you capitalize my name as such: "VashMM"

I know it is within 5 months, but seeing as my account just vanished and I had to make a new one, thought I'd ask.

Besides, I had wanted VashTheStampede to be changed to VashMM anyhow.

BadaboomAri
