I think I'll stay on. But it'd be more like playing once each week/month. I probably won't be as active on this board as I was before. We'll probably have a monthly play each month by then ;-)

I was just thinking about this the other day. If one other person also plays, I will play. If no-one plays...well...it's hard to play without anyone else playing. You get the idea.

Extremely doubtful - only if i had it on a computer and i decided to try and play online, but i don't know why I'd want to this long from now.
I don't think anyone else would be on either. . .

I will play JJ2 for as long as computers are compatible with it.

However, I will probably play less and less over the years... but I will come back every now and then!

And I'll be in this community till the day it dies!

Mostly what AJ2f said... Like a bunch of other games on this computer, I'll always come back to it occasionally as long as computers are compatable.

I don't think so.

In 5-10 years Windows \/-(\/) ;) won't support Jazz Jackrabbit 2.

What AJ2f said, basically. It's all about the compatibility.

It depends on many factors, on which i don't have any influence. Will JJ2 run under future Windows versions? Will it run under sixth or seventh generation Pentiums? Or will Win98/ME run with these new processors? Will future network modes be compatible with the one used in JJ2?
Way too many questions too say something for sure here.
As for other factors, like my so-called "real life" (how i do at university, for example), they will definitely determine the *amount of time* i can spend with "useless" stuff like J2, but they will *never* keep me from playing. Trust me :)

So, *if* everything will be compatible, i will definitely be playing once in a while and check the websites, like the last four years. It's an awesome 2d-side-scroller :)

Que Passa!!!!

Well, I currently don't play Jazz as much as I did before. But heres the way I think about it;

Currently the gameing industry is making cell-shaded 3D games, and games that are so violent that they disgust me (Example; Grand Theft Auto) while, 2D games are seen as unrealistic (I say, if your trying to get realism, turn off the game and get a life- Oh GOD- I'm starting to sound like my MOTHER in this... I play unrealistic games for the same reason I watch unrealistic movies- they are both cool.)
But as you know, fads come and go, then return- heck, A couple of months ago, I saw an icon from my childhood being sold to the next generation: My Pet Monster was one of the coolest plushtoys I ever saw. Just last week, I found out that Maya the Bee(An old kiddy book/cartoon I liked- may have been the cause of my fasination with insects.) has made BOTH a game boy advenced game AND a game boy color game (Sadly, both are only available in Europe, or I would have bought them.).
And what have Game Boy advanced games mostly consisted of? OLD SNES AND NES GAMES. Seriously, do you think the 3 stooges game was designed this decade? They just took the same code, and added sounds.
Where am I getting at? Well, when the people start noticing that all 3D games are looking the same(Not to say that they all do now, but they will eventually- mark my word, especially with this current thing in which 'all games must be inventive and cover new teritory'. Heck, we never get to explore the territory we're already in.) where will they flock? 2D games. All the classics like Maui Mallard, Commander Keen, the boy and his blob, Aero the Acrobat,
And yes- Jazz Jackrabbit.
