Well, I can finally host... Well, sort of. I have the 1.24 TSF patch, and I can host levels where people are able to join. All of my ports are open, so I should be able to host servers properly in any game. The problem is that people can't seem to find my servers when I host them in 1.23. I'm using 1.22 right now, and I'm wondering if that's the problem. My question is.. Should people be able to join my 1.22 server if they have 1.23? I ask this because I don't see any other way this problem occurs. I doubt this is the problem, but I can't seem to get a straight answer anywhere else.

There's one easy solution for this. That would be to upgrade my 1.22 files to 1.23 using the upgrade patch. The problem with that is that the patch seems to direct straight to my 1.24 registry. Therefore, when I try to upgrade 1.22-1.23, it says I'm already updated and I can't do it again. So I see no practical solution right now except to just find out whether my version of Jazz is causing this.

Upgrade to a 1.23 patch. Its easy, go to downloads and search for the file.

Blackraptor, you may have not read the entire post. :)

Rename the 1.24 registry key to something like "1.19" and then try to run the patch. I'm not definite this will work, but it's worth a try.

Ok, Trafton, he did loose me there somewhere

Now I feel better an will read his cry for help.

I had the same problem too, except I succeeded in upgrading.
You may have to delete TSF, upgrade to 1.23, then install TSF again.

Dont go chasing me with pickforks and torches if this doesnt work OK?
