Oh great. Don't tell me I can't play CC to it's fullest. And don't tell me that CC only has 3 levels. After I beat the boss, it told me the password and to go to www.project2.com. Maybe the site is just not working now, but it shouldn't work - should it? Project 2 is no more, correct? So what can I do with this password now? I want to play the rest of CC!

Please help!

CC is only three levels. The password only got a few (maybe just one) user made levels you can probably find on J2O.

Ahh! You're kidding right?

Doesn't HH98 have 5 levels? And I thought it was like a 'demo' version of CC, and without Lori.

So, except for Lori, HH98 is better than CC right?

TSF and CC are such a dissapointment. They aren't an expansion to the game, so I thought they would be full game length. Wow, what a letdown...

So I paid like $25 for CC, and I used to have HH98, which I never played, and I only bought it for 1 cent. I shouldn't have sold it. What was I THINKING? I'll look for it again and buy it - provided the levels are different than CC or it has more levels. Maybe if I still have my receipt from before I can proove that I bought it for one cent, and they'll have to charge me no more than that. It's worth it just as a Jazz collectible for one cent.

- Nope, not kidding

- HH98 is CC without Lori. It was released only in the US. CC is just HH98 with Lori, a different version number, a different Episode pic etc. So they're basically the same.

But actually CC is better. Since it uses an enhanced version of the Jazz2 engine ;). And now don't come with the "TSF isn't compatible" crap. It won't help, since TSF people are the only people who actually play nowadays anyway. Oh yes, project2 went bankrupt last year.

Actually, I think they both have two battle levels, so that's five total. If you have both TSF and HH98, just moving the HH98 levels into the TSF folder will get you the equivalant of CC.
(TSF people aren't the only people who play, either)

Correct. CC99 is not much more than the European release of HH98 (with a delay of more than one year, unlike all other Jazz games, which were published first in Europe, then in the US).

Nevertheless, it has some improvements compared to HH98: for example, a fancy new menu screen, snow in the menu, Lori etc.
Not to forget that it made (or should make) some Jazzer legends proud, because their names are mentioned in the credits (that's because all of the levels that got into the P2 level contest are included, like martin's "Fright Night CTF").

However, i guess it's a collectors item; nothing that'll give you actual Jazz playing fun (well, apart from those very good five levels, of course).

So how can I get those additional two levels in CC? I can download them from J2O but I don't know what they are called. Someone want to help me out? While we're doing this, what other holiday levels do you recommend I check out for either CC or TSF?

Thanks.

The two other levels are battle maps, Nadine. Just start a battle server in HH98 or CC99 to check them out. Otherwise, you could search for the files, their names begin with "xmbattle", if i remember correctly.

As for "holiday levels": there are tons and tons. Too many to list them. Just search a bit around in the download section. One thing that came to my mind immediately was that two years old Xmas Pack by Wille and Blade, though. You can find it here (http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads/moreinfo.php?levelid=306).

I forgot to ask....

Do some of the single player holiday packs contain several different holiday 'songs'? Not just the song from CC over and over I hope. They could borrow from Jazz 1's hh94 and 95 for more music too.

Well, I'll check it out - thanks.

Single player pack by Blade and Willie (http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads/moreinfo.php?levelid=306)
Single player pack by Chandie (http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads/moreinfo.php?levelid=1701)

Best two I could find. You probably don't want to download either "Holiday Hare 2001" (Spazzyman or Mattw (or Nickadot, if his upload of Mattw's pack is still there)), though, as neither of them were very good.

This is what cheeses me about CC. I mean, the fact that it's only 3 levels (and then the password levels if you can find them), but also how they advertised the game on the box:

"Anyone who manages to complete the entire game will obtain the precious code which gives access to many more Christmas levels..."

Features: Numerous brand new levels.

Anyone who 'manages' to complete the 'entire' game.... (like if it's a very challenging and long game) 'many more' levels(more than 5 should be considered many more) , numerous.... you get the idea. This is one of the worst cases of exaggerated advertising I have ever seen. I was picturing CC to be some sort of three episode full Christmas game.

Then there is HH98 which only comes with the CD case, and sold on the bargain racks, and it clearly says '5 levels' on the back. You know exactly what you are getting.

Sigh. Whatever. So I will check out those fan made Christmas packs. What are some good holiday MULTIPLAYER levels for any of the Jazz 2 games? Or maybe I should shut up and look myself... but I'm saying, if you have tried levels first hand, you know what to recommend.

Nadine. The "many more levels" are those from the P2 level contest. That's at least more than five levels, if i'm not completely wrong. Of course, the HH98 cover doesn't say anything about them, because they are not included in HH98. If this is "one of the worst cases of exaggerated advertising you have ever seen" then you haven't seen a lot of advertisements, really :-)
