[Rumbo Rabbit]

Continuing on from 'Whatever happened to Rumbo Rabbit?'...



Many nights had passed since Nebulas last attack on TIME mountain. Things had been peaceful and many were thinking that Nebula wouldn’t strike, well only the people that knew he existed in the first place…

With Rumbo resigning as Guardian of TIME, TIME had to find another rabbit, a rabbit that knew something about TIME and would be willing to help save it whenever necessary. People like Talec and Rumbo, although unique, could easily be replaced. TIME eventually came up with one candidate, an orange rabbit with the name Jelze.



Talec had gone back to his mountain and realised how boring his life was becoming. He decided to meet some old friends back at the Carrotus Castle. Travelling many miles, by foot and by other means, he eventually reached the castle, about a day after leaving for it.

At the front gates were two familiar looking guards, who had been on patrol since Blade had tried to attack Carrotus. When they saw Talec they greeted him with a smile, yet stayed at their posts like they were supposed to.

‘Carry on, gents!’ Talec said back, nodding to them with appreciation. Talec already felt much better.

From entering the castle he found two other familiar faces, one in the shape of a green heroic rabbit chasing another smaller, yet still as fast red rabbit, who had a steak tucked firmly in his grasp.

‘GIVE THAT BACK, SPAZ!’ Jazz Jackrabbit, Prince of Carrotus demanded, ‘THE QUEEN WANTS SUCH A STEAK AND IT IS NOT YOURS!’

‘Hey, hey, hey!’ Spaz Jackrabbit replied, ‘I only want a bit of it…’

‘Same old, Spaz, same old Jazz.’

Both turned at the newcomer.

‘Same old, same old, huh guys?’

‘Talec!’ Jazz said with a warm welcome, ‘What are you doing here? How have you been?’

‘Thought I’d visit you guys!’ Talec replied as Spaz stopped, accidentally dropping the steak onto the floor, ‘How’s things here?’

‘Great!’ Jazz replied, ‘Lori’s getting married to Dr J and we can’t wait for the wedding!’

‘Really, I must say…’

‘Congratulations?’ came a voice from behind Talec. He turned round and saw the beautiful, 19 year old Lori Jackrabbit that he remembered. Behind her was Dr Jones, his arms cuddling her from around the shoulders. She held onto them with caring hands.

‘Lori…’ Talec said, walking towards her, ‘I can’t believe it. Still as beautiful as you ever was…’

Lori blushed. Dr Jones cuddled her more.

‘Yup she certainly is,’ Dr Jones replied with a wide smile, ‘and soon she’ll be my beautiful princess.’

Lori’s ears went red, ‘Thank you both,’ she said, ‘What are you doing here?’

‘Thought I’d pop in, see how the old gangs coming along. I can see that not a lot has changed…’

‘Um…’ Lori started, ‘is Rumbo with you at all?’

Talec was at first silent. He first of all remembered the fight they had up at TIME mountain, then how Rumbo had told Talec about a letter he was going to leave her, ‘I am afraid not. He is up at TIME mountain…protecting the TIME stone from any further attacks…’

‘I didn’t think he did that!’ Dr Jones replied with wonder.

‘Yes…well,’ Talec started, ‘you see, Rumbo quit as the Guardian of TIME. He left it a few days ago and now lives alone. He appears to be unhappy in many proportions.’

Lori fell silent. So did the rest of them. They didn’t know what to say. They remembered when Rumbo left them last, looking sad and confused.



Talec went further inside and met with the Queen of Carrotus, plus a few other guests who had turned up that day, Jelze and Black Sheep.



Meanwhile…in the deepest parts of TIME, the forbidden world…





‘So, Rumbo thinks he can protect the TIME stone, does he? Thinks he can stop me, the creator of all worlds from taking what is rightfully mine? Pah! I shall show him, for I shall use my powers on him and see what he will do then! But my dear brother, the keeper’, I fear that you will try to stop me…If you do I shall destroy you….’



….He sat alone…patiently waiting….waiting for any encounter….but really he wasn’t prepared…far from it…not with what happened next….



As Talec sat around a small picnic table with the Queen, Eva, Jazz, Spaz, Lori, Dr Jones, Jelze and Black Sheep, drinking fresh carrot juice straight from the fridge, they began to wander through endless chats …

‘So…’ Jelze started, ‘How is Rumbo then?’

Talec didn’t reply. He didn’t know what to say.

‘Um…did I say something wrong?’ Jelze asked with sympathy.

‘No, friend,’ Talec started, ‘it is just that Rumbo…well, isn’t the same anymore…’

‘How do you mean?’ Lori asked. Dr Jones looked at her eyes, her over-caring eyes.

‘Rumbo…he’s not the self centred rabbit I thought him to be. He’s more a caring and loving person then I could ever had imagined…’

‘Oh…’ Spaz said, ‘so you say he’s up at TIME mountain, Talec?’

‘….’

‘Talec, are you alright?’

Talec suddenly stopped speaking and was now listening to thoughts within his head. Something was wrong. It was TIME, telling him something…

‘…Nebula is attacking again, this time rumbo…he will soon take his mind. You must leave now…’

‘Oh my god.’ Talec said out loud.

‘What on Carrotus is the matter?’ the Queen asked, noticing his fear.

‘Its Rumbo,’ he said, ‘he’s in grave danger!’

Talec suddenly got up from the table and headed in the direction of TIME mountain, leaving the castle. It was about 2 miles away so he would have to move fast. Everyone else present, including the Queen and Eva, went after him. Lori was deeply concerned…

The words of Nebula: ‘Sortec, Laman, Vortec, Karman…’



As Rumbo sat on top of TIME mountain, thinking and watching over the dull view of beautiful scenery, He felt a presence inside his head…

‘Sortec…’

Rumbo flinched, then realised what was happening, ‘Nebula!’

‘...Laman...’

‘NEBULA, STOP THIS NOW! END THIS WAR BETWEEN US! LEAVE OUR WORLDS TO BE!’

Nebula didn’t listen, ‘Vortec…’

‘YOU CAN TAKE MY MIND, NEBULA, BUT YOU’LL NEVER TAKE THE TIME STONE….’

‘…Karman…..’

Suddenly Rumbo’s mind shook with great power that gave Rumbo an incredible headache. Falling to his knees he screamed with fear and anger, knowing that he had not the strength to withstand such a force….



‘Listen!’ Eva said as they heard a scream at the top of the mountain, which they were now travelling up.

‘RUMBO!’ Lori shouted back, not knowing what to really do. She feel into Dr Jones’ arms for comfort.

‘Quickly, to the top!’ Talec shouted, ‘We don’t have much time…’



‘ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!’ Rumbo screamed as the last attempt to succeed failed. Rumbo’s mind had now been taken, taken by the creator of all worlds, the evil Nebula. Getting up from his knelt position, he walked over to the TIME stone, taking it with both hands and beginning to stare right into it…

The others reached the top to find Rumbo/Nebula standing with the TIME stone, Rumbo’s eyes become whiter and wearing a wicked smile.

‘Stop!’ Talec shouted, ‘Nebula, stop this!’

‘YOU JUST DON’T GET IT, DO YOU?’ Nebula shouted back at them as the molecular structure began to change, ‘I OWN THESE WORLDS! IT IS MY RIGHT TO CREATE THEM THE WAY I REALLY WANT THEM!’

‘Rumbo!’ Lori shouted out, but again no answer came back.

‘No answer, pretty lady!’ Nebula answered, ‘He’s temporarily out cold!’



‘You…you…’ Jelze started.

‘You swine!’ Black Sheep finished off, rather embarrassed.

‘Maybe I am such a word, but the ‘creator’ is a greater match for all of you slaves, slaves of my reign!’



‘Nebula!’ came a mysterious voice from behind Nebula, who had just appeared out of nowhere.

Nebula turned and saw, standing before him was Blade, the bounty-TIME-Traveller who had tried to destroy Carrotus before, ‘You!’

‘I see you are taking up my plan!’ Blade shouted at him, ‘Why can’t you become more original?’

‘Are you here to stop me too, sibling?’

‘As any enemy who has had his plans stolen from under his rabbit nose!’

‘Well your too late, ALL OF YOU! THE TIME STONE HAS BEEN ALTERED, HAHAHAHAHA…’

Suddenly the feeling of Nebula within Rumbo became weaker as Rumbo began to take control again, only to a minor scale. His eyes began to change back from white to their usual colour, plus the vicious smile was beginning to fade….

‘What the…’ Rumbo said to himself. Suddenly realising where he was and what was happening. He saw the TIME stone, he knew it had already been altered, ‘Dammit!’ he uttered, bowing his head.

‘Rumbo…’ Lori said softly, to which this time Rumbo heard the cry. He looked up at her, staring at his one true love who was already ‘taken’. He wanted her before and he still did then. If only he had been so wicked as to give her that love letter before he went…It was too late now, they were getting married. He had heard it from somewhere a few days ago.

‘Lori…’ Rumbo said softly, almost a whisper, as he drew out his golden sword from nowhere. Looking at the sword with thought and anticipation, Rumbo decided the best thing that he should do. He looked straight at Lori, saying, ‘I’m sorry’ and with that he held the golden sword with both hands……………



Everyone else stared on as he pointed the blade towards him………….



……..Rumbo clutched the handle firmly, knowing that somewhere inside him lay a part of Nebula. He knew it was his last effort to stop him from ruling. He knew it was too late to change the dreaded future that Nebula had created……….



Lori’s eyes widened as Rumbo swiftly and sternly stabbed himself, right through the heart and out the other side. He fell to his knees, still holding the sword, his eyes clutched firmly closed, his teeth gritted with the last few moments of pain.

‘RUMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ Lori screamed as he collapsed to the ground, trying to run towards him but Dr Jones held her back. It was no point now, he had committed suicide. Rumbo Rabbit killed himself to try and kill Nebula…

As Rumbo lay there the entire sky changed its shape and format, from a clear blue to a misty red. As it did everything suddenly became whiter and whiter, becoming so intense that everyone was knocked out from the experience, except for one. As the sky had changed Jelze Goldrabbit had been warped away, away into the midst of TIME….



When everything had recovered, NOTHING was the same. Not even close…..

The whiteness vanished...Carrotus had gone...New Carrotus was hear to stay...



A desolate world full of coruption and sheer suffering, evil force Nebula rules over the rabbits and other creatures of such a criminal world, living somewhere high up away from anyone else. All that knew each other are great distances apart and all the main heroes of the world have been locked up. Doesn't mean the other heroes haven't been though...



Jelze passed through into TIME, was asked to be the next Guardian of TIME from TIME itself nd Jelze said yes, if anything to save Carrotus. As he prepared to eturn to Carrotus to see what he could do, theres another TIME traeller still in question...



...Talec...



Tale found himself alone and confused in a bundle of wreckage, where apparantly a city had once been. Beside him lay other rabbits, yet none of them he actually knew. He got up, scouted the area and saw that Nebula, nor anyone he knew was anywhere to be seen. Talec was confused, but wasn't scared...



Jazz found himself alone in a prison cell, with only a dark window to look out of of, consisting of two bars. There was a tiny bunk bed made for the size of a child and a piece of chalk that appeared to have been worn down many years before. Jazz was silent, he didn't want to speak. He was starting to feel scared...



Spaz and Lori were with each other, in someother locked up cell on the other side of the planet, or whatever it had become. They had the same kind of cell, except there wasn't even a doorway out of here. The bars were much rustier and the double bunk bed had collapsed into one kingsize single bed. Lori held onto Spaz, ony wanting to see her dear Dr Jones again....



Dr Jones was found in another wreckage, this time up in a hilly area above many trees and some villages below. He was also alone like Jazz and Talec. He still had his powers, yet he was as confused as the rest of them.



These characters, plus others will form the backbone for the rest of the story, how they travel across New Carrotus in hope of defeating Nebulus. But the question is.....





....What about Rumbo?

Jelze found himself standing on the border of TIMEs world, with a gun in one hand and a spirit full of TIMEs energy inside him. TIME had told him many things, about the truth of TIME and more of the 'creator'. Jelze now understood what Rumbo had secretly known and was now ready to take Rumbo's place..

'Rumbo...' Jelze said to himself, closing his eyes, remembering what had happened...

'...there appears to be hope....' it was TIMEs voice

'Hope?' Jelze questioned

'...yes....you see.....'

'Is it to do with Rumbo?'

'...yes....he isn't dead...'

'What?'

'...he is very much alive...'

'But how?'

'I can't understand myself but he is, somewhere in TIME...'

'You want me to find him?' Jelze asked, a big smile appeared on his face

'No, you must head to New Carrotus. I want you to find............'



Meanwhile....



Dr Jones was found in another wreckage, this time up in a hilly area above many trees and some villages below. He was also alone like Jazz and Talec. He still had his powers, yet he was as confused as the rest of them.

He looked back and fourth, trying to find his one true love, Lori. He couldn't see her, his eyes became wet. He wanted to see her again. He crouched down. He went to sleep.

During the night the village that Dr Jones lie within was attacked, by what were known to be followers of Nebula, Creations, rabbits who posses no powers and have had their minds possesed to follow Nebula.

Dr Jones felt a thud as one of the followers punched him in the chest. He spat out and woke up, seeing four rabbits above him, looking down at him with evil eyes. They began to hit him more. Dr Jones didn't scream, he didn't do anything at first. Then suddenly he got up and started to use his powers to his best....his hand.....morphed into.....A MINIGUN!

The four rabbits began to run as Dr Jones pointed it at them. Suddenly he heard gunfire from behind him. He ducked down, dodging the attacks. He rolled over and fired back at whatever was there, which was about 10 Creations, all rabbits. As Dr Jones fired back, shooting one in the chest and the other through the leg, he realised that the number of these rabbits was becoming miniscule. He wasn't the only one firing at them...

Noticing that all 10 of the rabbits had been hit, he got up and was bout to walk over them, when suddenly he felt a gun on the back of his head...

'Don't move, traitor!' said the Creation rabbit behind him.

Suddenly there was a bang as a gun was fired, going straight through the head of one single rabbit. Dr Jones fell down from the shot. The Creation rabbit continued to stand.............suddenly realised that it had been shot through the head and collapsed into a heap, giving Dr Jones the view of another rabbit behind it, pointing a blaster right at the Creations head....



It was a girl rabbit, looked roughly 18. She wore a sexy silk skirt and a black leather shirt with it. The shirt had a picture of a gold and silver flower sewn into it, which perfectly matched her strands of gold and silver hair. Across her right eye was a small scar, which looked as if she had been hit with a blade or something. The rabbit dropped the gun into a holster and drew out a sword, also carrying a small emerald in her other hand.

'Hi...' she said, 'names Wild Angel...you must be the good old Dr J, right?'

Dr Jones looked at her, stunned, 'Um..yes...thank you...'

'Any time, precious, but you can call me Nobara if you want...'

'Where am I?'

'Small desolate village, just like any other on this planet. How long you been asleep?'

'I don't know...'

'Look,' she said, 'I was sent to find some people, one of them being you...'

'Why me?' Dr Jones asked.

'Were setting up a resistance...no name for it yet...'

'Is Lori with you?'

'Um, 'fraid not...' Nobara then placed her sword back in its pouch and she drew out two uzis, one of which she had used onthe Creation. She checked they were fully loaded and then placed them back in...

'Come with me...' she said as she went over to Dr Jones and put out a hand for him. He took it and got up, blushing slightly.

'Why you gone red, Dr?'

'Um...never been saved by a girl before...'

'Theres always a first time, hun, theres always a first time...'

They went out of the wreckage to a nearby forest, where Nobard made two knocks on a specific tree and was allowed into the secret hideout underneath, along with Dr Jones...

[Rumbo Rabbit]

Meanwhile.....



Jelze had gone back to New Carrotus, noticing how desolate and cruel it was.



He had been sent to find someone...a TIME traveller....Talec



'Talec found himself alone and confused in a bundle of wreckage, where apparantly a city had once been. Beside him lay other rabbits, yet none of them he actually knew. He got up, scouted the area and saw that Nebula, nor anyone he knew was anywhere to be seen. Talec was confused, but wasn't scared...'



Jelze warped onto Carrotus and found himself within the same wreckage that Talec was in. He started to call out his name...

'TALEC!'

No reply...



Talec decided he couldn't stay here any longer and went out, scouting for any signs of recognisable life. As he went about he saw a familiar rabbit ahead of him. He was orangey and Talec remembered him being there when Rumbo has stabbed himself...

Talec approached him and put a hand on his shoulder, saying, 'Friend, I have found you...' but the rabbit turned around and Talec realised that it wasn't Jelze, just another rabbit roaming endlessly in circles. Talec apologised for the mixup and sat down on the floor again.



'TALEC!!!!!!!'



Talec pricked his rabbit ears....



'TAAAAAAAAALEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEC!'



Talec replied, 'I AM HERE? IS THAT YOU JELZE?' He recognised the voice.



'YES!' he replied, 'where are you?'

'In the wreckage....'

'That doesn't help me!'

'Um...' then Taled had an idea. Using some of his inner TIME powers he set off what looked like a firework from his position. It spurted into the air, revealling a golden trail upwards. Jelze saw this and ran towards it.



Just as he did...something was approaching....



A Jelze ran towards him, something grabbed him and threw him to the floor. Jelze screamed in fright as a rabbit with large white fangs coming from its mouth loomed over him.

Talec realised where the souund was coming from and ran over there. Just as he did, another rabbit approached...

The fanged rabbit tried to bit Jelze's neck, obviously a vampire rabbit then. Where had it come from? They were said to only exist many many years ago... Jelze kicked up at it and puched it backwards. He got up and drew out his gun, pointing it at the rabbits head. He shot the vampire right through the eye but still the rabbit lived. Talec then approached, drawing out his sword from thin air and hacked the rabbits head off. Talec thought it was over but then saw the rabbit get up, walk over to its head, pick it up and place it firmly between its shoulders, as if it had never been cut off.

'A vampire rabbit!' Jelze explained.

'Where from?' Talec asked in surprise, 'they existed only years ago I thought...'

'They did...' came another rabbit's voice, from behind Talec. Talec turned around and they both saw a rabbit standing there, with a steak in one hand. It had a stern look in both its eyes as it watched the vampire turn and start to run at him. The rabbit, holding the steak like a knife, did a 360 degree turn anti clockwise and once he had reached 180 degrees he threw the knife from his hand, going straight at the vampire rabbits heart. It stabbed him right through, going out the other side. The vampire rabbit fell to the ground, dead.

The third rabbit appraoched Talec and said, 'Names Slayer, pleased to meet you...'

[Rumbo Rabbit]

Lori and Spaz sat down next to each other in their tiny cell, both truly scared. They didn't really know what had happened, they didn't understand like Rumbo or Talec (and now Jelze). They just knew that they were in big trouble...



'Im scared, bro,' Lori said to Spaz, cuddling him, almost in tears.

'It'll be okay, sis,' Spaz replied, 'theres gotta be a way out of here somewhere...'

Lori was beginning to miss Dr Jones, 'I hope Jones is alright.'

'So do I.'

But she wasn't just thinking of Jones, 'Oh god!' she said to herself, crying.

'Hey sis, I'm sure hes alright. I mean his arms a minigun most of the...'

'Im not taking about him,' she explained through tears, 'I mean...Rumbo...'

'Oh god, yeah.' Spaz added, suddenly remembering how he had stabbed himself to try and stop Nebula from ruling the planet. Unfortunately it hadn't worked...

Lori thought to herself:

'Oh Rumbo, I remember the first time we met. I fell for you and I couldn't stop. But I love Jones more, even though I had wanted us to be together. Im really sorry...If only you felt THE SAME WAY....'



Meanwhile, wandering endlessly through TIME....

He walked slowly, looking down at the ground, his eyes angry and his heart furious. His mind was only on Carrotus, how he had tried to save it and yet to no avail the New Carrotus regieme lives on...

TIME suddenly found Rumbo Rabbit walking alone in a lonesome part of TIME...

'...rumbo.......'

Rumbo was angry: 'SHUT UP! LEAVE ME ALONE!' he shouted, swiping his hands in front of him to ward TIME off.

'...rumbo...please...I'm...'

'Sorry? SORRY? HOW ON CARROTUS CAN YOU BE SORRY??? WHY AM I STILL ALIVE, WHY? I WANTED TO END THIS, I WANTED TO STOP THE PAIN...'

'...rumbo...'

'IM NOT YOUR SLAVE ANYMORE!' he began to cry through anger, 'IM NOT GONNA DO WHAT YOU TELL ME....'

'..you don't have to...'

'YEAH, RIGHT!'

'...Carrotus needs you...'

'WHY, SO I CAN RUIN MORE PEOPLE'S LIVES...'

'...what do you mean?'

'DAMN IT TIME I LOVE LORI! I'VE ALWAYS LOVED HER! I USED TO DENY IT BECAUSE OF MY PARENTS DYING, I THOUGHT I'D....'

'..loose her?'

'....yes....oh god...' Rumbo wiped his eyes to stop the continuous tears from falling down his burning cheeks, 'I want Lori more then anything, but I don't want to hurt her or Dr Jones. I want her to be happy, that's why I left her and Carrotus...that's why I didn't leave the note....'

'...the note saying you wanted her...'

'...yes...that note....I still have it I think...i'm not gonna use it though..'

'...rumbo...get a hold of yourself....you don't have to be like this...'

'THEN WHAT can I be like?'

'....a hero....'

Rumbo suddenly gave up speaking and kept walking.

'..don't deny it, Rumbo, you have the power to warp through TIME....and there's another power...'

Rumbo stopped suddenly, 'Another power?'

'...one you obtained from your second death...when you stabbed yourself....Nebula's powers....'

Rumbo was gob-smacked, 'Nebula's powers, the cretor's powers of creation...I HAVE THEM?' he sounded very surprised.

'...not exactly YOU rumbo...but your other half...your second personality...'

'My what?'

Rumbo didn't say anything. Instead he began to run towards TIME central, his second personality hearing every word....

TIME Central - City of TIME travellers. All are welcome...



Rumbo went into TIME central and could sense TIMEs presence. In his mind he was told to enter the TIME Tavern, where people would meet up and tell stories from around different worlds. Humans, creatures and other lifeforms lived here, including rabbits.



Rumbo entered the Tavern and found noneother then his dad sitting by a table on his own.

Rumbo went to the table, staring at his 'dad':

'My dad never had a bushy chin...'

'Doesn't matter,' TIME said, looking back with a serios face, 'I have to tell you something.'

Rumbo sat down by the table, directly opposite, 'What is it, the future?'

'Two possibilities, Rumbo, only two...'

'The first...?'

'The first being that Nebula continues to run Carrotus and kills almost every soul on Carrotus.'

'How?'

'Through torture, he basically goes ott.'

'Right? So what's the second...?

'The second, Rumbo, is that if YOU are there to stop him...'

Rumbo was silent at first, 'Dioes the future show Carrotus back to normal at the end?'

'The only way to do that is to realter the TIME stone....so I am unable to see that. Unfortunately I don't have it.'

'Nebula?'

'Yes...he made sure he controlled it from the start.'

'So all I have to do is get that right? I suppose you'll tell me his location is unknown or theres a TIME field around it.'



-A TIME field, stops people from TIME travelling within it-



'Both!' TIME replied, 'meaning we'll have to find it first and then get there by foot or transport.'

'....damn!'

'Rumbo....I don't want to make you feel like a slave to me. You don't have to be on my side anymore...'

'Are you on the side that is to save Carrotus?'

'Of course!'

'Then I am on your side forever, TIME.' Rumbo was dead serious.

'Then hear me out,' TIME started, 'A resistance on Carrotus is forming, somewhere in the North. A group of powerful and figthing rabbits have joined together and are finding the best. They currently have Dr Jones with them on their side.'

'Is Lori with him?' he asked straight away.

'No, she is with Spaz on the other side of the world. They are trying to escape as we speak.'

'And Jazz?'

'That's who the resistance is next after. Dr Jones has already made a plee to find Lori...'

'Thought so. You made Jelze Guardian?'

'Yes.'

'You mentioned it once, hes a good rabbit and a good friend.'

'He is with Talec, who will be training him instead of you...'

'Fine...where are they?'

'In the east somewhere, about 10 miles from the resistance point. They should meet up shortly. They are also with a rabbit known as the Last Patriot...'

Rumbo smiled, 'Well whatdoya know? That guys still around?'

'You know him?'

'Don't you remember, the escapade with the vampire rabbits. I helped him against them once, showed him the near future. I protected him...'

'I forget many events, Rumbo, I have greater things to think about...'

'Nebula?'

'Exactly.'

'So this resistance, it got a name?'

'No, but you will decide that...'

'Why me?'

'Because you join it and become their leader...'

'...You've seen that?'

'....Yes....'

'So I have no choice, as per usual.'

'Look, you make your way there your own way. You can go there whenever you want just make sure you do. I'm not telling you what to do here.'

'You just did...'

'Please, Rumbo, for the Old Carrotus, detroy the New and bring it back....'

Rumbo was silent, He nodded his head, got up from his chair and walked out of the tavern. By the time he had left, TIME had a smile on his face. He had never seen Rumbo join the resistance, he had made it up...

Chapter 1 - Jelze, Talec, Slayer (Louie)



----- Vampire Vigilante -----



Talec sat down as they listened to Slayer telling them about how they had started appearing from a warp about three miles away, somewhere southwards.

'They all came out in rows, like they had been preparing for this.' Slayer added

'Nebula most likely.' Jelze added

'You know about him, I mean you know what he is?' Talec asked.

'TIME told me everything...'

'Oh...right.'

'Nebula?' Slayer asked.

'Well, Slayer...'

'Please, call me Louie.'

'Okay, Louie...here's the basics...'

Talec told Louie of Nebula, the 'creator' of all worlds and how he wants people to obey him, therefore creating horrible worlds like Carrotus. He also told him about TIME, how it is the 'keeper' and runs Nebula's worlds.

'I see,' Louie said, 'So Nebula must have brought these vampires from the past...'

'But wait a sec,' Jelze interrupted, 'Nebula doesn't have TIME's powers does he?'

'No...so somebody else muct have brought them here...' Talec replied

'Who then'

Talec had one person in mind, 'Blade.'



They decided to leave the wreckage and headed north, after TIME had told Jelze through his thoughts to head that way....



-As they walked that way something behind them appeared from a TIME warp-



As they walked Talec heard something behind them....

'Stop.' he told the rest of them as he turned round, seeing nothing. As he was about to turn round to counter a front ambush, he realised he was too late.

At least 5 vampires came out from behind a large pile of rubble, each carrying their own blasters. They all fired alternately, hitting Talec on the shoulder, only minorly grazing it. He drew out his blaster and, with rapid fire on, shot the vampire back, along with the other two beside it.

Jelze rolled to dodge a shot and fired, suddenly realising they wouldn't work against it. However it does knock them backwards, giving them enough time to escape. They shot all 7 of them and hid behind a different pile of rubble, realising their weapons were useless. Louie had hit one of them with a steak but that was it so far. He noticed some scraps of wood by his feet.

'Guys, find some bits of wood and load them into your guns!' he ordered. The other two nodded, taking the shapest and smallest bits of wood they could find. Once they had all loaded their guns with wood, they came out of the rubble and began firing. Unfortunately they hadn't expected the reply...

The vampire rabbits were already beside the rubble, waiting for them to come out. The five remaining vampires started to kick at them, making them drop their guns and spare wood ammo. Talec managed to kick one back in the ribs, which cracked since they were so weak. Yet the vampire lived on and punched Talec on the nose, making him collapse to the floor. Jelze did a Spaz like kick at one of them, cutting it in half from the waistline. In this position it wouldn't be able to reform, but was still alive. The four that were still able to move walked closer and closer to the three, who stood side by side a little in front. Louie was about to draw out a steak and fire it at the one on the right, when suddenly there were the sounds of rapid fire coming from behind the vampires. As one of them turned, a large chuck of wood went flying into its stomach, making it collapse to the ground. Then about five other bits of sharp wood went into the other three vampires, hitting two of them straight through the heart. Talec, Jelze and Louie smiled as they saw who was standing there....



...Rumbo Renegade Rabbit...



The last vampire, only getting shot in the legs, stumbled towards Rumbo. All three of them noticed him wearing a very slick and cool trench coat, with a stern look in his eye. Rumbo placed his blaster back in his holster and ran at the vampire, doing an uppercutt, drawing his blaster in mid air and firing vertically down at the vampires neck, killing it instantly. As he landed he drew out another sharp piece of wood and threw it down at the vampire that lay in two halves, also killing it as well.

The others cheered him as Rumbo smiled, saying 'Look who's back, and cooler then ever?'

The four of them sat down there, all completely exhausted. They admired Rumbo's cool new look and felt that he wasn't the same rabbit they saw when he committed suicide.

'Rumbo,' Talec started, 'why did you kill yourself, you KNEW it wouldn't stop Nebula, didn't you?'

'Yeah,' Rumbo replied, 'but the fact is I couldn't bear living as the rabbit I was.'

'So what are you now?' Louie asked.#

'...a renegade, both of TIME and of New Carrotus.'

'So what are you doing here?' Jelze asked, 'Not come back to take my position again are ya?'

'No, no, no' he replied, 'by the way congratulations on your new post. I haven't seen you or Louie for ages.'

'You know Louie?' Talec asked.

'Sure, helped him defeat a couple of vampires before...'

'He saved my life,' Louie interrupted, 'can't thank him enough.'

'When was the last time we properly saw each other, Rumbo?' Jelze asked him.

'Um...when I was....'

'About to leave Carrotus?'

'...Yes...' Rumbo let out a sigh.

'Why did you leave, Rumbo?' Jelze asked.

'...I can't explain.'

'Hey if its about Lori then we'll...'

'YOU KNOW?!'

'Um, yeah...' Talec replied, 'they wanted an explanation so I told them what I knew...'

'Oh thanks, mate!'

'Hey, no problem,' Talec replied sarcastically, 'listen Rumbo it doesn't matter anymore. You've gotten over her, right?'

Rumbo fell silent. He bowed his head in shame.

'Oh...' Jelze started.

'I love her, that's all I'm going to say.' Rumbo replied, as he got up. He was about to walk away, when suddenly....

'DIE YOU CURSED RABBIT!' came a loud voice as Blade jumped out from his hiding place, trying to hack at Rumbo's legs as he jumped down. Rumbo rolled out the way, realising he was wielding his sword. Drawing out his golden sword from nowhere, Rumbo went at Blade, aiming for the chest. Blade stepped to the side and went for his back, but Rumbo was already ahead of him, as per usual, travelling through time so that he was right behind Blade. Rumbo kicked Blade on the back so he fell to the ground, head first.

'Cool!' Louie said.

'GET THEM!' Blade shouted as millions of vampires came out from everywhere.

'JESUS!' Jelze shouted as they approached.

'WE CAN'T TAKE THEM ALL!' Talec said to them, 'WE BEST LEG IT!'

Rumbo didn't listen, he did a cartwheel above Blade and smacked his foot down on his chest at a 90 degree angle, creating a loud thud on impact. Blade scremed with agony.

'RUMBO!' Louie shouted, 'behind you!'

Rumbo, as quick as a flash, placed his sword away and drew out his blaster. His coat flapped in the wind as he let rip tuns of wooden bullets at the oncoming vampires. They all went down, one by one.

Rumbo saw the others leaving and so ran after them, leaving Blade alone on the floor. A few minutes later, with the vampires running after the four rabbits (one being a vampire himself), Blade managed to get up, with mysterious white eyes....

Rumbo

[Rumbo Rabbit]

They ran through the wreckage as thousands of vampires ran after them. 'Blade' was nowhere to be seen. Up front was Talec and Louie, who had now revealled his large fangs.....

'JESUS!' Talec explained, 'You're a vampire too?'

Louie didn't reply. Instead he whacked Talec to the floor and tried to bit him on the neck.

'Oh no you don't!' Jelze shouted as he ran at Louie and punched him right on the mouth. Unfortunately this carelessness drove Louie's right fang through Jelze's paw, making him yelp with pain. Jelze grabbed at his hand as Louie fell backwards. Suddenly Rumbo came in, doing a somersault over Louie and went for the oncoming vampires. Drawing out his sword, rather then firing wood at them, he made his sword become brighter and brighter, so bright that the vampires could not withstand it. They shrieked as the light became too bright. Rumbo then finsihed them off by swiping his bright sword through their chests, actually killing them. He then went to the other side of the 3 rabbits (one turned into an evil vampire) and swiped the others, killing them also. He then ran back to Talec.

'Lets get out of here!' Rumbo shouted.

'What should we do with Louie?' Talec asked.

'Don't worry I knew he was a vampire, just a good one. His mind has been taken, like with Blade's earlier on. Nebula's possessing them.'

'Oh no...that means he could take you again...'

'Let's hope not, Jelze are you alright....Jelze...'

Jelze had fallen to the floor, his hand turning greener. He had been poisoned. He had to be treated fast.

'Damn it, we gotta get Jelze treated!' Talec shouted as the vampires came closer.

'Lets go!' Rumbo said as he picked up Jelze and Talec knocked Louie out, stopping Nebula from controlling him. They then all left the reckage, heading Northwards towards the hills.....

Chapter 2 - Treachery.

Lori, Spaz...



As Lori and Spaz sat alone in their cell, they realised there probably wasn't a way out. Without a doorway they had no chance of escaping. With every turn they made they found the same colourless, lifeless walls. They felt like the end was now for them, for Carrotus...

'Oh god,' Lori said, 'what are we to do? Carrotus is surely doomed out there. I can feel the pain of misery out there.'

'So can I sis,' Spaz replied, 'we just gotta sit tight and get out of here...somehow...'

Suddenly sombody appeared that made their wish come true. From a TIME warp came noneother then....

'TALEC!' Lori shouted as she realised who it was, running over to him and hugging him.

'It's okay, Talec said, 'I got caught up in some problems. I'm here to rescue you two.'

'About time!' Spaz replied, 'I mean how can we escape without a doorway?'

'Good point,' Talec said as he lead the two rabbits through the TIME warp and to the other end....'

The other end was not what they had expected...not even CLOSE. Talec slowly followed them from behind, an evil look in his eye....

As Spaz and Lori stepped through the portal, they werent inside the prison cell anymore.....they were in a place much much worse....



Talec, their so called friend, wasn't Talec....



Spaz and Lori found themselves on top of a very large skyscraper, which down the side had the banner entitled NEBULA on them. When they turned round to question Talec abut where they were, they saw that he wasn't Talec....he was somebody else, a dark red rabbit, Nebula.....



'Welcome to my humble abode, rabbits of the royal family of Old Carrotus,' he sneered, 'But I am afraid the royal family no longer exists. I made sure the Queen and Princess Eva were exterminated during the change.'

'You...you...' Spaz started...

Nebula raised his hands as if he was a mummie and pushed Spaz back, without even touching him. Spaz flew back onto the ground, his leg twisted from the landing.

Lori ran over to Spaz with fright, shouting, 'Why are you doing this?'

'WHY?' Nebula shouted, 'BECAUSE I OWN YOU ALL! I CREATED YOU AND YOUR PUNY LIVES. BUT NOW IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE...'

Lori and Spaz didn't know what to say. Lori picked Spaz up, who wobbled a little as he tried to stand. His leg was in sheer agony.

Suddenly, from the roofs surface came what looked like robotic rabbits, each the same and armed with laser guns, blasters of the future.

'This is what comes in the future, my friends,' Nebula said with a smile, 'but I thought they deserved to be beckoned years earlier, to the present of our day. TIME no longer has the power to control me...hahahahaha'

'I remember these robots,' Spaz commented...

'Yes, when Blade mande Blaze, a look-a-like of Rumbo. Speaking of which, I wonder what happened to him?'

Then from behind Nebula, in a TIME warp, came the mind controlled Blade, who staggered forward with a bruised chest...

'What happened?' Nebula shouted at him.

'He...he is still....'

'He? You mean...?'

'Rumbo...he's still alive...'

Lori's eyes widened.

'WHAT?'

'He's changed, he's more powerful...'

'Pah!' Nebula said, 'He will be no match for the creator of all worlds...'

'I get it!' Spaz said, 'You're controlling Blade so you can use TIME and bring things from the future...'

'And the past...with those vampire rabbits I summoned, which Blade here was meant to lead...'

'They got away, sir.'

'Who else was there?'

'Talec...the Last Patriot and Jelze Goldrabbit...'

'Yes, the new TIME Guardian, interesting...'

'What must I do now, sir?'

'Follw them! Find out where they are going. If you get into trouble tell them of my two...guests we shall call them.'

Lori and Spaz became more frightened.

'Yes, sir!' Blade said as he turned round and ran back into the warp, still clutching his chest.

'And now...' Nebula said, facing his guests, 'the fun of New Carrotus is about to begin...send out the robots!'

[Rumbo Rabbit]

-Chapter 3: Resistance-



They reached the hills, no vampires in sight, except for Louie who didn't count...

They saw a small village up ahead. Jelze was getting worse. His neck was starting to turn green as well, plus the skin around his eyes was swelling.

'Oh god,' Talec said, 'we have to help Jelze now!'

'Lets head to that village!' Louie said

'....'

'Rumbo, whats wrong?'

'The village, look at it...dead rabbits...'

They all looked. In a row was about 10 dead rabbits, all shot by some kind of sub machine gun weapon...

'You think its safe in there?' Louie asked.

'Don't know...' Rumbo said, 'stay here!'

Rumbo ran off into the village, which lay beside a forest. He got into the village and realised the weapon was either a uzi or a minigun. He then saw a load of rabbit footsteps going into the forest, one pair being of a very large size. Rumbo only knew one person with that sized feet...

'Dr Jones...' he uttered quietly

'Hey!' Talec said to him from outside the village, 'everything okay?'

Just as Rumbo was about to shout back that it was, since the minigun that was used was Dr Jones', he felt a thud on the ground, coming from further north, from the large mountain range.

He then heard a voice come from the forest, a woman's voice...

'There's another creation in the village, you wanna take it Jones?'

'...Dr?' Rumbo said to himself....

'Never seen him before so I'll say yeah.'

Thats only because he'd never seen a rabbit wearing a large trech coat before. Besides he was looking at Rumbo from behind...



'Take him...' Wild Angel said to Dr Jones.

'Just as Dr Jones changed his hand to a minigun and was ready to fire, Rumbo Rabbit disappeared into TIME...

'Hey!' Dr Jones said, 'where did he...?'

'Right behind you, Dr...'

Wild Angel and Dr Jones suddenly turned round, seeing the cool looking rabbit before them. He was pointing a gun at them for his own safety.

'Hey who are you man?' Wild Angel said to him.

Dr Jones looked at him carefully, 'Do I kno you?'

'Jesus you can't even remember me, Doc?'

Jones recognised the voice, 'Rumbo?'

Wild Angel remembered the name, 'Rumbo Rabbit, the one who...'

'Killed himself to try and top Nebula, yes....' Rumbo finsihed the sentence for her.

'Hey whats going on over there?' Louie called out, who was standing with Talec (who had Jelze in his arms) in the middle of the village.

As Dr Jones turned round to see them, the ground shook again, this time sounding much closer. Sunddely from the mountains jumped a very large robotic creature, that landed about 20 feet away from Talec. The ground shook with such proportion that it knocked everyone to the floor.

'Oh no...' Talec said out loud.

Louie shouted out, 'Rumbo help us!'

Rumno ran over to them, doing a somersault over Wild Angel and Dr Jones, landing perfectly on his feet.

'Lets take this...' Rumbo said...



-Let battle commence-



Rumbo, Talec and Louie vs TITAN, Nebula's first large creation.

'How are we gonna take this?' Talec said.

Rumbo was silent, he was observing the robot, with the name TITAN written across the front.

Suddenly there was a loud boom as Dr Jones let rip his minigun onto the TITAN's body. It had little effect. The TITAN screeched, sticking his foot out to hit Rumbo. Rumbo rolled out the way, drawing out his blaster at the same time. Talec drew his out also.



-Enter Dr Jones and Wild Angel-



'Nice to meet you guys, I guess,' Wild Angel said to them as she got her uzi's out.

'I'm going round the back!' Rumbo said, running towards the TITAN.

'RUMBO!' Louie called out.

Rumbo did a magnificant jump right over the TITAN, who was quite tall considering the comparison between it and the rabbits.

Rumbo landed on the otherside, placing his blaster away and taking out his golden sword.

Rumbo noticed a large cannister on its back, the fuel tank...

'DISTRACT IT!' Rumbo said, preparing himself. His sword started to turn whiter.

'Jesus!' Talec said, firing at the TITAN's head; a pefect hit on its forehead. The TITAN screeched again and out from its left arm came three missiles, each firing one after the other. Talec grabbed Jelze and ran as the missiles struck the ground, luckily not hitting Louie as he dodged as well.

Dr Jones and Wild Angel fired at the gap that the missiles had come from. Doing this caused the other missiles still inside to explode, destroying its left arm.

'HA HA!' Wild Angel said out loud to it.

From the TITAN's right arm came a very long blade, almost a sword. He started to slash at the ground, almost hitting Dr Jones. Louie took Jelze as Talec jumped up and shot at the blade's joint with the arm, which unfortunately withstood the shooting.



Rumbo's sword was at its brightest...



Dr Jones tried shooting as well but unfortunately had little effect, only chipping a small bit off its flaky outside skin (out of the 20 that was actually there)



Suddenly they heard a loud whimper as Rumbo Jumped up and began hacking madly at the uel canister, causing fuel to spread out everywhere as small trails, looking like a tree pattern from above. Rumbo landed back down onto the ground behind the fuel...

'Everyone, get back!' Rumbo ordered, making everyone step away. They knew what he was about to do. Placing his bright, HOT, golden sword onto the fuel, the fuel set alight and began to make the tree pattern light up, trailing right towards the TITAN's fuel capsule. After only a few seconds the fuel had travelled right up to the fuel canister, which at first made a wild screech and then began to explode, making the TITAN fall to the ground as its whole body began to explode. Scraps and shards of metal flew out in all directions as the explosions became wilder and bigger....soon there was nothing left of the TITAN except for parts of its legs that had survived.

'Nice one, Rumbo!' Louie said

'Cool!' Wild Angel pronounced.

'....' Dr Jones said, 'you're alive?'

'Don't ask me how, Dr, as I don't know..' Rumbo said with a small smile.

'Guys!' Talec said, 'what about Jelze, hes dying here!'

'Yeah and what will be left is Jelze the vampire!' Louie added

'We have to treat him,' Wild Angel said, 'follow us...'

Talec picked up Jelze from Louie's arms and followed Wild Angel and Dr Jones into the forest, who was also followed by Rumbo and Louie...

Within a forest they went up to a specific tree which, up close, didn't look like a tree at all. Wild Angel knocked on it twice and waited for a response. Suddenly, from a nearby bush, a rabbit came out from a tunnel that was secretly buried underneath the bush. The rabbit was Black Sheep...

'Hey Angel what was that racket? ' he asked, then suddenly realised who was present, 'Talec? Louie? Jelze? RUMBO?'

Rumbo smiled, 'Yup I'm still alive, Black!'

Black rushed down the tunnel so the others could follow him in. The tunnel lead to a large underground base that held about twenty other rabbits, some that had never been seen before...

'This is our small base,' Wild Angel joked, 'where our resistance is being held.'

'I see,' Talec replied, 'so what is your name, Angel is it?'

'Just call me Nobara.'

'Okay, Nobara?'

They both smiled.

Louie looked around to see if there was anyone he knew. There wasn't...

All the rabbits present saw Rumbo and stopped what they were doing, just staring back at him.

'Um...' Rumbo started, blushing slightly.

'Yes this is Rumbo Rabbit!' Nobara commented, 'he saved our lives from one of those giant robots, again!'

'What do you mean again?' Rumbo asked.

'There was another one a few hours back, when the world first became New Carrotus...it attacked and then disappeared...'

'You sure it wasn't the same one?'

'No, it left to head West and had the ame GARGANTUAN written on iit. It was much bigger then TITAN.'

'Great!' Louie said out loud, 'I'm useless against those things. I can only help against vampires...'

'Which reminds me, Talec said, carrying Jelze over to the centre of the room, 'Jelze needs to be treated, he's been poisoned by a vampire.'

'Um...by me actually....' Louie explained, 'when Nebula took my mind over...'

'Nebula's been doing a lot of that,' Rumbo commented, 'he's taken over Blade's mind so he can use TIME travel...'

'And he's brought those vampires from the past!' Louie added.

'What about the creations?' Dr Jones said.

'The what?' Talec asked.

'Those rabbits back there that were being controlled by Nebula...'

'So that's why you shot them, Rumbo said with a smile, 'thought you'd turn nasty on your own kind...'

Dr Jones looked at him and smiled slightly, 'Still got your old sense of humour, huh Rumbo?'

'Thats the only thing I still got,' Rumbo said, admiring his trenchcoat, 'Plus the golden sword.'

'So what do you think Nebula's up to?' Nobara asked, taking a bottle of medicine from a cabinet at the back of the room. She gave it to Talec and told him to give Jelze the whole bottle. There was only half left anyway. Talec carefully placed the bottle in Jelze's mouth.

'He's bringing things from the past into our present.' Talec said, still holding the bottle as Jelze slowly guzzled the mixture down.

'Could mean he's bringing them from the future as well,' Rumbo said, 'with Blade it is possible...'

A small sound was felt in Rumbo's head....a gentle whisper....

'We have to figure this out,' Talec said, giving Jelze what was left of the mixture. The green started to fade. Talec carefully lowered him to the floor.

'He'll be alright in about half an hour,' Nobara said, 'but for now we have to find this Gargantuan...Rumbo you up to destroying it? Rumbo....RUMBO!'

Nobara suddenly realised that Rumbo had gone, up the tunnel and out of the base. The sound inside his head was getting louder.....

'Lets get after him...' Black Sheep said as he clambered up the ladder, followed by Talec, Louie and Nobara....



In the forest the sound within Rumbo's head became too unbearable...

In the forest, waiting for him was Blade.

'Hello, Rumbo...' Blade said, drawing out his sword, 'I think it is time for a rematch.'

Rumbo didn't do anything. Instead he stood there, clutching his forehead. The other 4 rabbits emerged from the tunnel and saw Rumbo and Blade.

'Rumbo!' Louie shouted, 'Do something!'

Rumbo collapsed to his knees. Something was happening...

Blade only watched, knowing that he hadn't done a thing....he had only followed them

Rumbo started to glisten with bright white light, the shape of his body changing significantly.

'What the..' Blade said out loud.

Rumbo screamed as the white light and the pain became too unbearable. Rumbo's head began to change, change to spikey hair.... His ears weren't as floppy anymore....

His neck became thinner and around it was a small hankerchief with a funny pattern. His shoulders were rounder and thinner. He no longer carried a gun...merely white hands and red fur. His body was the same, except red and white alternately. Down his right side was what looked like a massive scratch, which had an insane pattern on it, looking like ancient writing. 'What the....??' Talec said out loud, staring at the red rabbit in front of them, which had a wicked and happy grin on its face. It was staring back at Blade, who looked on cautiously.

'Hehehehehe' the rabbit quivered, 'I'm gonna show you the true meaning of fighting!'

'What in Nebula's name are you?' Blade shouted out

'Nebula? Mmmm I remember that name, somehow I feel RELATED to him!' the rabbit suddenly held out his hands and bright yellow flames ignited from them. Suddenly from behind Blade trees started to grow at a very rapid rate, surrunding the back of Blade so he couldn't escape.

Blade looked around, then back at the rabbit, 'WHO ARE YOU?'

'I'm what you could call a Hell's Angel, the powers of the bad but with the soul of the good...'

'Those powers...' Talec started...

'Yes, Talec!' Hell's Angel said, 'The powers I hold are the ones of Nebula!'

'Damn thee!' Blade said, running at him with his sword. Hell's Angel jumped over Blade and spun round to face Blade. Blade turned round and this time didn't charge. Instead he held up his left hand and clicked his rabbit fingers. After a few seconds about five vampire rabbits appeared from behind Hell's Angel.

'Oh no...' Louie started.

'Hah!' Hell's Angel said, suddenly creating about 5 stakes in the palms of his hands.

'What the...' Blade started...

Hells Angel spun round and threw the stakes away from his hands, each going towards one of the vampire rabbits. The stakes went through each vampires' heart perfectly, killing them instantly.

'Oh my god...' Dr Jones pondered.

Hell's Angel turned and faced Blade again, 'Still wanna fight me?'

Blade didn't reply. Instead he created a time warp behind him and jumped into it, disappearing in a matter of seconds. They all guessed where he might be heading to.

The battle was over...

a secret untill i write about her) And someone told him he has

a brother but he doesnt know who it is yet.



Behavior: Curious, Adventures, gets shizofrenic sometimes

(dont blaim me, you'd be shizo to after beein locked up in

a grave for over a year) and a pleasent person to be around.



Special: Can float trough the air but not to high, he needs

to drink blood to survive and sometimes this causes problems,

Can ask the god of light for help.



Weapons and abbilities:



Chaos, a gun that can fire both wooden and silver bullets and

cuts them in the right size. It also understands commands like.

<Gun here> (it comes to me).

<Fire> (Guess i dont have to tell you what it does when i

say this huh?)

<Disspear and Appear> (Turns invisible when i say dissapear, it

can also fire in the invisible mode and when i say appear, it

just appears again)

Watching Blade disappear into the warp, they saw the red rabbit run off into the distance. Nobody went after it. They didn't know what had happened. They were all confused, alone, scared. They thought Rumbo was truely dead...



Louie didn't go back to the resistance base like the others. He went back to the village where the numerous dead rabbits lie. His black rabbit fur matched the darkness of the night sky to sheer perfection.

-Oh Leonie- he said to himself -I miss you-

Slowly he walked over to the dead rabbits.



Talec watched from the forest.



Louie bent down to one of them, looking for a large bullet hole wound...



He watched Louie with wonder...



Slowly he placed his mouth over the wound, sucking in the fresh blood from the dead rabbit victim.



Talec sighed. He had a fair idea what Louie was going through.



Louie got up, wiped the blood away from the fur around his mouth and moved to the next one. He began to feel sick...



Talec ran over to Louie...



He had collapsed...



Talec found Louie lying on the floor, trying to get up. Talec helped him so he was sitting up on the ground.

'Are you alright?' Talec asked.

'You...you saw me drink...?'

'The blood...yes Louie...I remember you saying you were a vampire too.'

Louie let out a cold sigh.

'You were hungry I guess.'

'Indeed, Talec...'

Louie pulled out a gun, 'Seen one of these before?'

'Erm...what is it Louie?'

'Chaos, one of a kind.'

'You never used it before...'

'I couldn't...something was wrong...'

'Was it broken?'

'...no....I couldn't face using it...not against those vampires...'

'?? What do you mean those ones? They're like...'

'Didn't you notice something, Talec?'

'...what?'

'Their faces? Didn't you notice the fact of who they looked like?'

Talec tried to remember some of them. There was only one that appeared to him...

'One looked like ME!'

'Yes, and me, and Jelze...'

'But why?'

'Nebula...I don't know why exactly but theres only one explanation...to why this could have happened...'

'A parallel dimension?'

'Does such a thing exist, Talec?'

'...'

'No, exactly. There is another reason, if TIME travel was involved...'

Talec thought for a moment. If it wasn't a parallel dimension then those vampires really were them...

'You mean from the future...?'

'Some time in the future we're gonna be attacked by vampires, have our blood sucked and we'll become one of them!'

'Then we'll be sent back into the past?'

'To today's date!'

'Nebula's showing us our future!'

'He's making us scared.'

'Louie...'

'Talec we're gonna become vampires! We can't change TIME can we?'

'Louie, if that were true then we'd never be able to restore Carrotus, will we?'

'...Let's hope I'm wrong...'

'Yes..lets'

The two of them sat there and watched the moon hover above in the midnight sky. As they sat a rabbit footed individual approached them from behind. It was a blue rabbit....

Talec and Louie turned round, it was Rumbo...



'Hey guys...'

'Hey Rumbo, where did you go?' Talec asked, 'You alright?'

'Yeah, why shouldn't I?'

'...Don't you remember what happened?'

'Remember what?'

'Maybe he doesn't...' Louie stated

'...Can we talk about this later?'

'Sure, Rumbo, lets go.'

Talec and Louie got up and headed back into the forest. Rumbo just stood there, watching them go...

'You coming, Rumbo?' Tale asked.

'I'll stay out here, try seeing if anyone's alive...' Rumbo replied, standing there, watching them.

They decided to leave him and headed off into the forest, back to the resistance base.

Rumbo still stood there, an angry face appeared on his face, 'PITIFUL RABBITS...'

Rumbo walked over to one of the creations, a possessed follower of Nebula..

'Oh dear, my pretties, my worshippers...' Rumbo said to them, 'If only you hadn't been killed on such a glorious day, the day when the plan for all rabbit life to be destroyed begins!'

Somehow this didn't sound like Rumbo....

'To start with, my trustworthy Gargantuan, unlike TITAN, will deminish that resistance that opposes I, the creator...'

'Rumbo' then closed his eyes and breathed in heavilly, summoning Gargantuan to head this way...

'HAHAHAHAHAHAHA....' he shouted continuously.



The rest of the resistance heard the laughter. They went out of the forest to see what was going on...

Talec, Blacksheep, Jelze (who had now recovered almost completely), Nobara and of course the Last Patriot stood, watching an ecstatic Rumbo Rabbit standing beside the creations, laughing his head off...

'Rumbo...?' Jelze started,

A crack of thunder filled the sky.

'What's wrong with him....?' Nobara asked.

'That's not Rumbo.' Louie said.

'You what?' Blacksheep asked.

'He didn't remember that change. It's not Rumbo...'

'Then who is it?' Nobara asked.

'...' Talec started, '....Nebula!'

'Oh god!' Blacksheep stated

'HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!'

'What's he done with Rumbo?' Jelze said

'Nothing!' came a voice from behind them all. Running to the scene was noneother then Rumbo Renegade Rabbit, with his blaster drawn out and a very unhappy face on. He jumped over the crowd and stood, watching what appeared to be himself.

'Rumbo' turned and faced Rumbo, 'I see you have returned! Too late you traitor!'

As Rumbo was thinking of a response something came over from beyond the mountains. It looked like TITAN but was much bigger, with greater strength and greater power....

'Gargantuan!' Nobara screamed.

'Great!' Louie stated.

'Now what?' Jelze uttered.

But before anyone knew what to do Rumbo Renegade Rabbit ran at Rumbo, firing shots wildly at him. They all missed, for Nebula jumped, stopped in the air, and corkscrewed down right on Rumbo, making him collapse to the floor.

'RUMBO!' Talec shouted out.

Louie began to run to his aid.

Rumbo and Louie Vs Nebula/Rumbo

'Try and stop me!'Nebula shouted back.

Louie ran to Rumbo and helped him up. He still had his gun in his hand.

'Lets kill this freak!' Louie said, drawing out Chaos.

'Agreed!' Rumbo said, jumping up and beginning to fire at Nebula. Nebula didged them all at a great speed and, as he ran over to Gargantuan, changed his shape into a red rabbit, one that looked like his true identity, even if it was just a vision of Nebula.

'Try shooting this!' Nebula shouted, suddenly disappearing into thin air, leaving only Gargantuan as their nearest threat.



-LET BATTLE COMMENCE-

Rumbo, Louie, Talec, Blacksheep, Nobara, Jelze Vs Gargantuan.



'Jesus!' Louie said.

'Who?' Jelze asked.

'Never mind.'

'Oh...'

Gargantuan came closer and closer to them....

Suddenly, from behind the rabbits came the fire of a rocket as it blasted towards Gargantuan's chest. The rocket exploded and caused minor fragments of Gargantuan's body off. They all turned and saw who had fired it...

'DR JONES!' Nobara and Talec shouted out.

He had changed his arm into a rocket-launcher.

'Kick ass!' Dr Jones said to them with a big grin.



'Lets kick it!' Jelze said

'Let's do it!' Nobara said

'Gargantuan no more!' Louie said

'Down with Nebula!' Blacksheep said.

'Agreed!' Talec said

'...' Rumbo said...

Nebula's smile became eviler by the second.

Lori started to cry, tears of fright trickled down her rosy cheeks.

Spaz was angry.

'What are you planning, Nebula?' he shouted at him.

'HAHAHAHAHAHA!' Nebula bellowed, 'THEY WON'T KNOW WHAT HIT THEM!'

Suddenly from a warp came a potential harmless and small purple rabbit, who had a hunched back and had no real smile on his face at all.

'Master,' the little rabbit called out, 'Robo-Jazz preparations are complete. Shall you wish to get him now?'

'Yes...' Nebula said, looking up at the dark sky that he had created so lustfully, 'I shall appear as...mmm...what do you think, Lori?'

'LEAVE MY BROTHER ALONE!' Lori called out at him.

'YEAH!' Spaz added, not really sure what he should do.

'HAHAHAHA!' Nebula boomed, 'DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? I AM THE MASTER OF CARROTUS NOW! I CONTROL BOTH TIME AND EVERY WORLD IN EXISTENCE! MY DREAMS ARE COMING ALIVE!'

'What is this Robo-Jazz?' Spaz asked him, in a more subtle tone.

'Remember Blaze?'

'...Yeah...'

'Think of it as a prototype for Jazz...the same as Blaze for Rumbo...'

'...You.....'

'What obsenity are you going to call me now, Spaz?' Nebula said, turning to face him and his frightened sister, 'I am fed up with you. If you're not careful I'll use your sister as.........'

Spaz and Lori looked at him with frightened expressions.

'....Wait a min.....ute...' a large evil tooth-filled grin appeared under Nebula's nose, 'THATS IT! FORGET ABOUT JAZZ! I'LL USE THE GIRL!'

'Are you sure?' the purple rabbit asked.

'YES!' he boomed, 'Rumbo won't be able to fight back because of....his love for her....HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA!'

'YOU LEAVE LORI ALONE, NEBULA! THIS IS BETWEEN YOU AND...'

'NEVER! ITS ME AGAINST CARROTUS, THE OLD CARROTUS. THAT NON-EXISTANT CARROTUS THAT I CHANGED. NO WAY IS IT GOING BACK TO THE WAY IT IS. NEVER!'

'...Don't resist...' Lori said with a sigh to Spaz, her head bowed down, 'If I resist he'll hurt you...' she got up and walked over to Nebula.

'Lori, wait!' Spaz said to her. He ran over to her but Nebula pushed him back. He collapsed onto the ground again...

'A wise decision, Mrs Jackrabbit....shall we begin?'

'Lets!' said the purple rabbit, walking over to Lori. The purple rabbit gazed into Lori's eyes, making her suddenly feel sleepy. After a few seconds she dozed into a deep sleep. The purple rabbit carried Lori off into a warp, leaving Spaz with tears in his eyes....

Meanwhile...



Rumbo, Louie, Talec, Blacksheep, Nobara, Jelze Vs Gargantuan.



'Hey!' Dr Jones called out from the forest, 'I'm helping too!'



-ENTER DR JONES-



'Thanks man!' Jelze said.

'...Thanks.' Rumbo said.

'...About earlier, Rumbo...'

'Don't matter, Doctor...'

'...'

'Hey save the silent chats till after!' Nobara said, 'We have to take this thing down!'

'It's pretty big!' Talec explained.

'No kidding!' Blacksheep added.

'Jelze....'

'Yes Rumbo?'

'You got the hang of time travel yet?'

'Of course!'

'Talec?'

'Ready as ever, Rumbo...'

'Right, then hold onto me, both of you!'

Jelze and Talec took one arm of Rumbo's each. Rumbo closed his eyes as a yellow aura enlightened his entire body. The glow spreaded down his arms and onto Talec and Jelze.

'Lets go!' Rumbo shouted as they suddenly disappeared. Only a few light seconds into the future did they appear, this time on TOP OF GARGANTUAN!

'Jesus christ!' Talec said, 'You trying to get us killed?'

'There's a hatch' Jelze said, looking down at Gargantuan's metallic bald head. Indeed there was, leading down inside it.

'I know,' Rumbo said, 'I saw it on the TITAN version. I assumed the same for this one.'

'We getting inside?' Jelze asked.

'Damn right!' Talec said, running over to the hatch and opening it. It didn't take long, a few turns of the wheel and it flipped open automatically.

'Guys!' Rumbo called out, 'Distract it! Try disarming it. You won't be able to destroy it!'

'Not another distraction job!' Louie said, 'Why can't we destroy it?'

'Titanium!' Rumbo roared as he went down the hatch, follwed by Jelze and then Talec.

'He's right!' Dr Jones said, 'The main bodies made of it!'

'The arms are a different colour!' Blacksheep pointed out, 'They're a different metal. Most likely a damageable one!'

'Is that a word?' Nobara asked.

'Doesn't matter!' Dr Jones said, 'Let's just break it!'

His arm suddenly changed to a mighty rocket launcher.

'WOW MAN!' Louie said, 'How can you do such a thing?'

'Don't ask...' Dr Jones said, 'Don't ask!'

I was wondering when you would say that...

From inside the Gargantuan, Rumbo, Jelze and Talec began to look for the CPU, in other words the 'brain'. Knowing Nebula's contraptions it would lie somewhere other then the head, but they decided to check anyway.

Inside the head was a gigantic purple crystal that appeared to glow every so often. Around it were tons of wires that connected to diferent sockets that lined the inside of the Gargantuan's skull. The purple crystal seemed to be generating some kind of energy that glowed around it. This also appeared to be making the Gargantuan alive.



'This must be the source,' Talec said, 'the energy is being transferred around the body.'

'But if we destroy this what will happen?' Jelze asked.

'It'll explode.' Rumbo said without a doubt, 'it's rigged. We cannot touch it.'

'So what do you suggest?' Talec asked.

'We stop the energy from being transferred.'

'How?'

'Transferring it to somewhere else.'

'Such as?'

'I don't know yet, Talec.'

'...'



They all began to think. The wires themselves seemed to be touching the energy and changed colour from this impact.

'The wires!' Talec said, 'They are carrying the energy!'

'So we have to alter the wires!' Jelze said.

'I got it!' Rumbo said.

Suddenly there was a loud shunt that catapulted the three rabbits to one end of the room. Gargantuan was taking some damage.



Dr Jones launched his rocket launcher and hit the Gargantuan straight on the head.

'Yee Ha!' he shouted out loud, to which everyone looked at him oddly.

'Aim for the arms and legs!' Louie said, drawing out his Chaos an firing at its left hand. The impact of the weapon on the hand had some effect, tearing a 'ligament' from two of the fingers.

'Nice one!' Black Sheep said.

'Thanks!' Louie said back.

'I'll take a shot at the gap!' Dr Jones said, firing his rocket launcher. It was a direct hit all the way.

The explosion tore away all five fingers, leaving a large gap of wires and circuitry.

'HA HA!' Dr Jones shouted out. Everyone congratulated him.

Gargantuan now made his move. From the gap of the hand came a rocket launcher equipped with 5 rockets. Gargantuan was waiting for them to do that.

'Ugh oh.' Nobara said, stepping back slightly. That little step wasn't really going to help.

'Run!' Louie said as the rocket launcher fired its first rocket.

The rabbits ran as the Gargantuan began to move after them. The rabbits went into the forest, Dr Jones firing another rocket without much consideration for aim. He was too frantic with running away.

The rocket only hit Gargantuan on the left knee and did nothing.

Gargantuan roared at them as it picked up speed, tearing its way through trees.



'Yikes!' Jelze said as the Gargantuan began moving.

'Whats happening?' Talec said out loud.

'They're distracting it!' Rumbo said, 'We'd better hurry up. We don't know if they're headin towards another village or worse!'

'Good point.'

'Yeah!'

'Okay,' Rumbo started, 'how are we going to transfer the wires back to it?'

'Can't we just disconnect them?' Jelze asked.

'Not sure,' Talec said, 'They might be rigged.'

'No,' Rumbo said, 'They won't be rigged, but if we transfer ALL that energy to one source...'

'Its gonna blow!' Jelze continued.

'Yes. That means once we do it we have to get out of here fast. Jelze I want you to go back to the others and tell them to lead Gargantuan to an isolated area where nobody is!'

'Why me?'

'Because you can't die yet!'

'Whats that supposed to...'

'He means that if we don't make it at least you will!' Talec said.

'You're the TIME Guardian remember?' Rumbo said, 'You have a reason to live. We, well I don't.'

'Neither do I!' Talec said, 'I'm an ex-Guardian. I can't help.'

Jelze gulped and said, 'I can't...'

'You can and you will!' Rumbo said, placing his hands on Jelze's shoulders. What he didn't know was that Rumbo was creating a TIME field around him, which would teleprt him anyway, whether he liked it or not.

'You being all sentimental on me?' Jelze asked.

'Not really,' Rumbo said as Jelze's body began to glow.

Jelze suddenly looked down, realising what Rumbo was doing, 'RUMBO, DON'T DO THIS!'

'Sorry friend,' Rumbo said, letting go as Jelze suddenly disappeared, travelling down to where the other rabbits were. They were still running.



'He's gaining! Black Sheep said.

'Obviously!' Nobara said.

Suddenly Jelze appeared in front of them.

'What the...' Dr Jones started, 'What are you doing here?'

'Lead Gargantuan to an isolated area!' Jelze said straight away.

'What do you...'

'JUST DO IT!' he shouted, 'Rumbo has a plan and we need to get him out of here, fast!'

They all began to exit the forest from the North, heading towards the mountain range. Gargantuan fired another rocket, this time destroying a few trees and creating a new forest fire. Luckily it couldn't really see them and so missed them entirely.



'We have to do it soon!' Rumbo said.

'But what if they haven't lead to an isolated place?' Talec asked.

'We can't just wait!'

'Then what else can we do, let people die?'

Rumbo shook his head, 'No, but we can't wait forever!'

Suddenly Rumbo felt a tiny feeling inside his head, which began to grow by the second.

'Lets wait another minute or so before we begin.'

'...'

'We have to be ready to escape, the explosion could be instantaneous!'

'...'

'Rumbo are you listening?'

'...Lori...'

'What?'

'Lori, she's in TIME Central!'

'What? How do you!'

'We have to do it now! We have to save Lori, she's in grave danger!'

'Oh no...'

'Come on Talec, please!'

'Wait!'

'What?'

'I'll stay, you go and help Lori.'

'But what about...'

'Forget about me, Rumbo! Like I said I'm just an ex-Guardian.'

'Oh don't give me that!'

'Rumbo! Do you wanna save Lori or not?'

'...Of course!'

'THEN GO!'

Both were then silent. Rumbo didn't know what to say.

'Rumbo...go...'

Rumbo nodded with sheer guilt and began to concentrate. After a few seconds he disappeared, heading into TIME.

'Okay...' Talec said, 'I suppose it is time...'



The rabbits had now lead Gargantuan out into the mountains. They were now waiting for Rumbo and Talec to destroy Gargantuan.

'Come on!' Jelze said.

'Please, now!' Nobara said.

'Do it guys!' Louie said.



Talec had all the wires into the crystal except for one. Holding it carefully, he stared at it...realising what might happen to him... He wasn't thinking about saving his life anymore.

'I'm....just....' he began, holding the wire up to the crystal. It was only a few centimetres away from it....'an......'

The wire touched the crystal. Suddenly sparks came off of the crystal. It was going to explode for definite....'....ex-Guardian.....'

Talec closed his eyes. He never opened them again.....



Gargantuan exploded in the midst of the mountain range, first its head cracked open revealing dark purple energy that spurtted out everywhere. The rest of the body then exploded with it, leaving only a pile of sharred and dented metal, all blackened and useless.

'...Guys?' Jelze called out.

No reply.

'Rumbo?'

...

'Talec?'

...

Jelze's eyes began to wet. To them both of them didn't survive. Only half of that statement was true....

The rabbits left the wreckage of Gargantuan and headed back for the resistance base.



Rumbo had travlled to TIME Central, where he knew that Lori was in danger



Talec was nowhere to be seen



'..drifting...endlessly......through TIME.........'



Rumbo stood at TIME Central's main gates.



'.....not stopping....not heading back.......not heading forward........not even going nowhere............'



The gates opened. Rumbo stepped through. Once again he had gone forth....



'...distant memories lost....new founded memories forgotten.....'



He walked into the city. Nobody was there. TIME Central was empty. Nebula must have changed TIME Central too. There was an unwanted presence in the air.



'.....Past, Present, Future, Nebula.........'



An old 'friend' of Rumbo's was there.....



'...Sortec, Laman, Vortec, Karman.....'



...The purple rabbit. His scent was unexplicable.



'Gargant!' Rumbo said out loud, 'Show thee and prepare for your end...'

'...' Silence

'I know you're here, Gargant, using this as your devil's playground...'

'...Maybe so, Rumbo Renegade Rabbit...'

'Where are thee, Gargant!'

A small purple rabbit came out from behind a distant barrel, 'Here I be, oh great Rumbo. Kill me now!'

Rumbo only stood there. Gargant was prepared and he knew it.

'Okay Gargant, show me your weapon!'

'A weapon,' Gargant started, 'an item or powerful force that deals great or extreme damage upon the unfortunate foe...'

'...What are you...?'

'The weapon, once destroyed, makes the user unarmed and powerless. But, Rumbo, what if you are UNABLE to destroy the weapon...?'

'What are you...?'

Suddenly, jumping down from one of the closer buildings was a robotic rabbit, covered from head to toe in pure metal. One of the ears still had fur visible, bright yellow fur...

'LORI!' Rumbo shouted out.

'Can you really destroy the one you love, Rumbo?' Gargant said to him.

'No!' Rumbo said, 'Don't do this! Why do you still follow Nebula? Your powers will always be greater!'

'True,' Gargant said, 'Naebula isn't the only force to have creation...'

'I still know your dark secret, what you created! Why do you still follow YOUR OWN CREATION?'

The robotic Lori began to walk towards Rumbo...

'Yes, I may have created Nebula, to make him as scary and as powerful as possible. But my subject is merely a tiny reflection of its creator. I hold the true power!'

'So why is he the master over you?'

Lori began to run...

'I'm afraid I don't have time to tell you, Rumbo, for your life is about to end.'

Suddenly the robotic Lori did a flying kick at Rumbo, plummeting him backwards onto the soft ground of TIME Central.

'I am afraid that I must leave you two to get to know each other a bit more. I am afraid that in her state she will never love you back...'

'DAMN YOU GARGANT!'

'HAHAHAHAHAHA' Gargant wailed as he went off into a TIME warp, heading back to where Nebula still stood with a frightened Spaz.



-LET BATTLE COMMENCE-

Rumbo Vs Robotic Lori



'...Lori? Can you hear me?'

'...'

'I don't want to fight you...'

Lori went at Rumbo, kicking him as he still lay on the ground. She got him right in the chest.

'ARGH!'

Lori stepped back, preparing another kick. This time it got him in the ribs.

'ARRRGGGGGHH!'

Lori then, with her robotic strength, lifted Rumbo up and threw him over her head onto the ground. Rumbo landed head first, bruising the back of his head.

'LORI, STOP! ITS ME!'

'...'

Lori picked him up again and threw him further into TIME Central. The distance was unbelieveable.

Rumbo fell onto the floor with a THUD, making his blaster fall out from his holster. He saw it, realising that he might only have one option. He discarded it, he couldn't fight and kill her.

'....'

'LORI, PLEASE! ITS RUMBO! DON'T YOU REMEMBER ME?'

Lori picked Rumbo up and punched him right on the chin, then down in the ribs again.

'ARRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH, LORI!'

'....'

Rumbo was becoming weaker.

'STOP!!!!!'

'....'

'LORI, DON'T YOU REMEMBER WHAT I SAID TO YOU ONCE? ABOUT HOW I FELT ABOUT YOU?'

'....'

'I said that I would.....would always love you...'

'....????'

'Lori?' Rumbo thought he had won her over.

'I NEVER LOVED YOU ONCE, RUMBO!'

With robotic Lori still in control, she threw him up high into the air, hoping he would land and most likely die. But Rumbo was prepared, preparing TIME travel so he would land safely on the ground again.

'You're not the Lori I remember...'

'The Lori you remember never loved you anyway...'

'Least she was kind enough to never say!'

'....'

Rumbo drew out his blaster, aiming it right at 'Lori'...

'You wouldn't shoot me!'

'You're right...I wouldn't shoot Lori' Rumbo said, looking as if he was going to turn round and walk away. But just as he did he turned back again, making a quick shot right at robotic Lori's chest. She screamed as it fell to the ground, clutching her chest.

Rumbo walked over to it and said, 'But there's one difference that I clearly noticed...'

He turned and walked away, leaving the robotic Lori to die. As it collapsed into a heap of death, Rumbo uttered, 'You're not Lori...'

'You took your time!' Nebula said at him, swiping his hand to show frustration.

'I am sorry, Nebula!' Gargant said back

'Don't take that tone with me!'

'Why not, MASTER?' Gargant then held up a hand and pointed it at Nebula. Nebula knew what it meant and decided not to reply the way he had intended.

'Lets just get along, alright? I need you for this. After Rumbo is dealt with we will begin the total domination of New Carrotus.'

'Then what will you do with me?'

'I know what you did all those years ago, me being a puppet...'

'Hey what you guys on about?' Spaz said to them.

'Shut up, you stupied red rabbit!'

'Speak for yourself Nebula!'

Nebula was still in the image of a red rabbit, 'Listen Spaz, if you do not...'

'DONT YOU DARE!' Gargant said, 'HE MUST STAY ALIVE!'

'Just because he is one of yours...'

'What do you mean by that?' Spaz said, really confused now.

'Leave the rabbit, maybe he is mine but we may need him to get Rumbo...'

'We agreed that he would die, remember?'

'...'

'Gargant, don't be so hesitant. I know he is your son...'

'SHUT UP!' Gargant said, 'I do not want him to know. Do no worry the Robotic Lori I sent to get him will destroy him.'

'The one in TIME Central?'

'Yes I left them to battle. Do not worry the real Lori is inside it...'

'Good.'

Gargant then disappeared into a TIME warp he created, knowing that he just lied to one of his most destructive experiments. He lied that he was going to kill his son....



Many many miles away in an isolated part of New Carrotus....

'...Ugh...'

'Hey rabbit?'

'....'

'Hey are you alright?'

'Wh..wh...where am...?'

'New Carrotus pal! Life stinks don't it?'

'The...the explosion?'

'What you on about man?'

'I only vaguely remember. I was there. I thought I was....'

'Listen man get up. Looks as if you've had a mighty fall.'

The rabbit got up from the ground and saw that he was confronted by a blue rabbit, wearing nice black shades and some kind of rocket pack on his back.

'Names Splash!' the rabbit said, 'Hero for Hire! You need any help?'

'Um....maybe....I cannot remember much about myself...'

'Least we share the same skin colour. I can reply on you!'

'....Gargantuan!'

'You what?'

The rabbit ran past Splash and began looking around for something, 'Where is the debris? This isn't near the forest. Where am I?'

'This is the east part of Carrotus if you were wondering...'

'Oh no...what's happened?'

'Hey man are you alright? What's your name?'

'My powers, it must mean that I really did die....'

'Hey man what's your name for crying out loud?'

'...Talec...' the rabbit said, 'Ex-Guardian of TIME. Ex-owner of TIMEs powers. That must mean my powers have been passed on...'

'Strange...' Splash said out loud.



Meanwhile...somewhere in the midst of TIME...

Rumbo walked through TIME, unsure what he had to do. From his reckoning Gargantuan was destroyed, Talec was dead and the world was still ruled by Nebula. Rumbo knew of Gargant from when they met in Nebula's realm. It was i actual fact Gargants but his subject grew too powerful and took over. For some reason Rumbo remembered this rabbit, not from that coincidental meeting but from when he was young. Wasn't he a member of that village he grew up him. Didn't he used to sit on his knee and be told stories?



Rumbo shook his head. He felt weak, confused. What if Lori was in that robot? No, she wouldn't have been. That wasn't to be the final encounter. Gargant was playing with him again. He remembered what Gargant had said to him before he left him in Nebula's realm...

'I shall fight thee, yet I shall always protect thee...'

'Why protect?' Rumbo said out loud as he continuously thought up the same plans to try and stop Nebula.

'Because you are my flesh and blood. Well you used to be.'

It was Gargant, who stood behind Rumbo in the midst of TIME. Rumbo turned and faced him.

'Flesh...?'

'Remember all my stories those years ago? Very true they became didn't they? They were stories of your future. TIME had made me tell you such things so you were prepared. I am glad you listened to your old dad...'

'You mean...you're my father?'

'Yes son...Rumbo...' he replied, 'You were born at the same time as my other creation...'

'Am I a...?'

'No, not a creation...you had a pure blooded rabbit as a mother. However, since I was not, you grew up with TIME's powers. That is why you were chosen. TIME saw that one of my creations that was meant to build worlds would change and become a monster. That monster was Nebula...'

'When the village was destroyed...?'

'I fled back to my realm...knowing that I may never see you again as I might die and because you were with TIME, not me. I never imagined you would grow up the way you have...'

'I don't understand this....'

'I am sorry you had to find out this way. And no Lori was not in that robot. She is alive and well.'

'Where?'

'I cannot say...'

'WHERE!'

'I shall tell you in a moment,' he replied,' I must first show you something...'

Splash took Talec to a small cave that sheltere them partially from the thick fog and the cold. The wind didn't seem as cool as it used to be.

'So, Talec...' Splash started, 'what's it..umm....like to be a Guardian of...time?'

'It was okay...' Talec started, 'but every rabbit that has been one will tell you the same thing...'

'Whats that?'

'It ruins your life.'

Splash was silent. He didn't really have much to say on the matter.

'Can I tell you something, Splash?'

'Yeah...sure...what is it?'

'When I was very little I felt something inside me, like an aura placed within my body...'

'Yeah?'

'...When I became almost the age of a teenager my life changed, for TIME came to me and told me of this inner aura, the powers of TIME he had held within me...'

'He gave you them?'

'Yes.'

'Why you? Not being rude or anything...'

'None taken. I do not really know. He said I had the strength to fight Nebula. That's what all Guardians do...'

'So who is the Guardian now?'

'Jelze Goldrabbit.'

'Oh yeah I heard of him. He's a time traveller from the future, right?'

'How do you know that?'

'I'm very knowledgeable.'

'I see.'

Talec got up and looked up at the dreary, red sky.

'Awful isn't it?' Splash commented.

'...'

'So did you ever meet Nebula?'

'No...not when I was a Guardian anyway. All I did was stop his minions and other TIME travellers who disobeyed the system.'

'Wasn't Blade one of them?'

'...Yes...how do you...?'

'Like I said, knowledgeable.'

'You must have read up on that adventure. Those were the days...'

'Not like today, huh?'

'No....not at all...'



'Hey Splash who you got there?'



Talec turned round. It was a new voice in the cave. He turned and saw a large red bird standing before him. It was the same size as him and it carried a normal blaster.

'Never seen you before!' the bird said.

'Kaz! Be nice!'

'Oh yeah...sorry...um....'

'Talec...um...normal rabbit...'

'I don't know...I just came here...'

'Hey listen!' Splash said, 'You want to help us save this planet?'

Talec raised an eyebrow, 'How are you going to..?'

'We're joining a resistance in the North. It doesn't have a name but we know it's growing....'

'Resistance...up NORTH?'

'Yes...why do you know it?'

'Yes I was there with them! Do you know how to get there?'

'I usually fly and so does Kaz since hes a bird.'

'Yup!' Kaz said happily.

'So is there any way for me to...'

'I'll carry ya!'

'Don't worry!' Splash said, 'Kaz can carry lots of things. You'll be safe.'

Talec remembered that he could just easily teleport there with his powers. But he realised that from his death he no longer had them.

'You OK?'

'Huh?'

'You seemed confused, Talec.'

'Oh...no...I'm fine really.'

'...Okay man, hold on!'

Kaz grabbed Talec around the waist and began flying upwards to see if he could withstand the weight.

'Yes!' Kaz said, 'You're light enough!'

Splash turned on his rocket pack and said 'Lets go, gang!'



They flew off into the distance. They would arrive at the resistance base early next day.

[Rumbo Rabbit]

Lori lay in a small chamber somewhere in TIME central, secretly kept there under Nebula's control. Nebula was plotting behind Garagnt's back...



Gargant took Rumbo to a special part of TIME's world. It was known as...

'The visionary,' Gargant said to Rumbo, 'ever heard of it?'

'...Once...something about reliving the past...'

'Without actually being there.'

'Why have you taken me...'

'I am going to show you something...'

Gargant then suddenly closed his eyes and held out his hands to a large mirror that was placed in the centre of the visionary. As his hands touched the glass his fingertips went through it like it was water.

'What the...?' Rumbo said as Gargant began moving into it.

'Follow me, Rumbo.'

'...Where is it going?'

'...To your past...something needs to be shown to you.'



Gargant and Rumbo went through the 'looking' glass. They ended up in a run down village which Rumbo used to call home...

'My village?'

'Yes, well after your first home...'

'My first home?'

'Rumbo, you don't remember anything about a castle do you?'

'A castle?'

'Yes....you see...your mother....'

'...Is my mother a rabbit? Pure?'

'Yes both of these.'

'Is she still alive?'

'Indeed she is. You have met her many a time.'

'WHAT?'



-Okay readers I am going to do something bizarre thats gonna put everything into perspective. It might sound a little odd but its gonna change the story for the better.-



'Your mother....'

Suddenly the village morphed and changed into a large white castle, one that Rumbo remembered visiting many times before in the past...

'Carrotus Castle....home of....?'

'The Queen of Carrotus....'

'You mean...?'

'Yes...she is your mother....'

'Which makes Eva my sister?'

'Half sister....not the same father...'

'But why don't I remember this?'

'At a young age you lived at the castle...a very young age. But everyone realised that, since you were half rabbit and half owning the powers of TIME, you were dangerous. You were sent away to that village where they said you would continue living. You were only 2 at the time so you would not have known a thing....'

'That means that Lori is....?'

'Family...along with Jazz, Spaz...they are all part of your own family...'

'I don't....why didn't anyone ever tell me?'

'Nobody knows...not even the Queen...'

'Not even Eva?'

'Nobody remembers. When you lived at the castle you were not given a name, only a nickname....Hell's Angel...'

'Why?'

'You had unimaginable powers and you were said to be such a handsome young rabbit.'

'...rumbo....' another voice spoke. Rumbo turned round and saw an incarnation of TIME standing before him.

'TIME?'

'The side of Nebula within you is that Hell's Angel...the one with those powers...'

'But wait a second....I have the powers of TIME...'

'..and the powers of Nebula...'

'What?'

'Rumbo...you were banished from the castle because of your Nebula powers...or Gargant's powers to be more exact.'

'Then how do I have TIME's powers as well?'

'I prophesised you to be the next Guardian of TIME. I had to give you the powers...'

'You mean you lied?'

'...what?'

'You told me I was born with TIME's powers, you lied to me. You never said about me owning both...'

'We never thought the powers of Nebula would come back.' Gargant said, 'Since you moved you forgot about them and they became too deep. Now they have been unleashed...'

'You LIED TO ME!'

'..rumbo?'

'....STAY AWAY FROM ME....YOU HAVE TO BE LYING! THIS ISN'T HAPPENING TO ME!'

'Rumbo...'

'SHUT UP! JUST, SHUT UP. YOU'RE NOT MY FATHER. MY FATHER NEVER LIED TO ME. I WASN'T BORN IN CARROTUS. I'VE ALWAYS BEEN ME, RUMBO RABBIT. HELL'S ANGEL DOESN'T EXIST....'

'Then who fought Blade in the forest, Rumbo?'

'...'

'You remember when you changed...'

'THIS CAN'T BE....'

'...it is rumbo...we never told you because we knew it would hurt you...now you deserve to know...'

'AND I DIDN'T BEFORE?'

'Rumbo please....'

'OH SHUT UP...YOU'RE WORKING FOR NEBULA ANYWAY! WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME? WHY IS THIS MY LIFE? WHY COULDN'T I JUSE BE A FARMER LIKE I WANTED TO BE?'

'...rumbo please....stop this...'

'NO! I WON'T! I NEVER WANTED TO BE A GUARDIAN. I HATED IT! EVERY MINUTE. MY WHOLE LIFE IS NOW FULL OF HATE. I'VE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH LORI, DIED TWICE, FOUGHT NEBULA AND NOW...'

'You have to fight him again....'

'WHY SHOULD I?'

'...because you're the only one who can....'

'...I DON'T BELIEVE THAT! IF YOU'RE SO DESPERATE TO STOP HIM THEN WHY DON'T YOU DO IT!'

'We can't...you are the only one...'

Rumbo then began to run, run from Gargant and TIME and run throuhg a TIME warp into the midst of TIME....

'rumbo...stop!'

'Rumbo!'

Rumbo's eyes were full of tears. He hated this. He hated himself and he hated what was happening to him. He wanted to die....he couldn't cope...

[Rumbo Rabbit]

Rumbo kept running. Not knowing where to...he just ran....



He stumbled and fell, his cheeks red and his heart burning with sheer hate.



'Rumbo Rabbit? Can you hear me?'

'...Leave me alone!'

He looked round. Nobody there.

'You can't see me, I am inside you...'

'Are you...?'

'Hell's Angel, yes...'

'...Do you really exist?'

'All I can tell you is that I am a part of you. What Gargant and TIME said is true. I remember that past, for I used to be a great part of you as a young child...'

'...It can't be true....can it?'

'You and I never knew of each other's existence. I lived when you were at the castle, your personality came along when you went to live in that village...'

'...'

'You became the independant person you are now...who still cares about other people...you are Rumbo Rabbit...'

'Then who are you? What happened when we changed?'

'When you stabbed yourself you killed both me and Nebula. I don't blame you for that since you never knew I was there. Me and a part of Nebula fused, still inside you, keeping me alive...I am now an incarnation, a red rabbit...the same colour of Nebula's incarnation...'

'Can you get out of me?'

'I am trying to find that power...'

'So I was destined by fate to be a Guardian of TIME, yet by sheer coincidence I also had the powers of my father since he was Gargant...'

'Yes...I hav the powers of Gargant, you own the powers that TIME gave to you...'

'After my personality changed?'

'Exactly....explaining why we both have different powers...'

'Rumbo...I know this is hard. At any time we could change, I didn't plan that in the forest. It just happened...'

'...So Lori...the rabbit I love is part of my family?'

'Yes...I can only remember the Queen and Eva though...'

'You remember?'

'I was there you know, as a blue rabbit however...'

Rumbo sat down. He began breathing in heavier to try and stay calm.

'Lori...' he saidto himself. Then he remembered, 'Where is she? I only fought a robotic version...'

'Gargant must know...'



'She has gone!' It was Gargant along with TIME, who had gone after Rumbo.

'..rumbo...we are...'

'Save it there's no time. Lori...she's back in TIME central?'

'The robotic version was...'

'No...she's somewhere else in TIME Central...Nebula must have her...'

'That swine! He must know I am not really on his side!'

'Gargant...I mean father...do you really think I am the only one to stop him?'

'Yes of course, why?'

'Because I am not the ONLY one!'

Rumbo then began running again, this time towards TIME Central...

'What does he mean?' Gargant asked.

'...he means he believes us...'

Rumbo, TIME and Gargant headed for TIME central. In the centre of the city was one rabbit, standing alone....



Rumbo went into the city first and saw the rabbit...



'It...can't be....'



The alone rabbit within the city stood with a clear independant aura. It wielded a sword in its right hand, holding it like a ninjas' blade.



'We meet again, Rumbo Rabbit...'

'....Blaze....'



TIME and Gargant stopped. They saw the robotic Rumbo standing, facing the real Rumbo.



'You didn't think I would still be alive again...did you?'

'Where's Lori?'

'She is in safe hands...'

'Who created you again? Blade?'

'Blade is a useless rabbit. He left me in the midst of TIME to rot in my metallic flesh.'

'Then how come...'

'I managed to find a way out and now I am here for revenge...'

'Why? The past is...'

'The past is my rememberence of my defeat. I want a rematch...'



TIME spoke, '...rumbo...we will find Lori. If you must fight him...'

Rumbo suddenly closed his eyes with pain.

'...brother....it is my turn to fight....'

'....hell's angel?'

'......please....i want to help....my time to arise has once been brought to me...'

'you'll kill yourself....and me?'

'...nay...we are both separate people. if I die then you live prosper....'

'...Angel....'

'...once I am gone just take care of your family, okay?'

'...okay.'



Rumbo began to change again. His feet began turning red. The reddness crawled up his legs towards his body, which became white and revealled that mark down his side.

Before the reddness had reached his mouth, Rumbo said, '..Angel...I will free you one day...'

Angel only replied once the transformation was complete:

'...and I will free you too...from all of this...'



-LET BATTLE COMMENCE-

Hell's Angel Vs Blaze



'We haven't met before.' Blaze said

'And this will be the last..' Angel replied.

'Too true, my friend.'



Angel created a sword in both his hands. Blaze charged at him. Both raised their swords and struck. Their swords clanged loudly and partially vibrated.

'What are you?' Blaze said as he tried to puch Angel down to the ground.

'Like you...not real...' Angel replied, managing to push Blaze up into the air. Blaze fell to the ground with a loud THUD.

'You think it is that easy?' Blaze said

'Not in the slightest.'



'You don't have to fight alone you know...'



'What the...' Angel started, 'Jelze?'

Enter Jelze Goldrabbit

'You remember my name I see, Hell's Angel...' Jelze said, who had warped in after feeling that Rumbo was alive. He had seen the change and heard what they were saying to each other.

'How do you know...?'

'I heard what you two talked about...I understand...'

'You're a strange rabbit for understanding all this.' Angel replied.

'I see...' Blade started, 'two against one. Maybe the odds are becoming unfair...'

'Too true...' Jelze said, drawing out his blaster.



'Maybe not, Blaze...'

Enter Blade

'YOU?' Blaze shouted

'I am your creator....forget the past....the future is more important...'

'Nobody knos the future...' Jelze said

'Yes but it is created from the present, OUR PRESENT!'



The fight split into two fights:

Jelze Vs Blade

Angel Vs Blaze



'ARGH!' Jelze shouted as he began firing at Blade. Blade rolled out the way and deflected some of them with his sword.

'You think it is that easy, do you?' Blade said

Blaze and Angel looked at him.

'Bloomin heck you guys sound the same!' Angel said.

Angel and Blaze struck swords again....neither allowing a chance for them to hit each other.

Jelze then took out a sword he had kept hidden on his back, 'I was getting tired of old fashioned gunfights.' he said

'So you wisely choose old fashioned sword fights, do you?' Blade said.

'So do you...'

'Oh yeah....'

Jelze ran at Blade and they struck their swords around chect height.

'So you're the new Guardian of TIME are you?'

'I am now...'

'You know that three Guardians have fought me in my lifetime. None have ever defeated me for good.'

'Yes but they have all defeated you, one way or another.'

'Maybe you will be an exception, Jelze.'

Blade kicked at Jelze and he flew backwards and hit

the ground hard. Jelze dropped his sword on impact.



Blaze saw the mark down Angel's side as they clanged swords at leg level.

'The mark...I remember such a thing...the mark of creation...'

'Yes...I was created to kill rabbits like you!'

'You say I am a rabbit now?'

Blaze jumped up in the air and kicked Angel in the stomach. Angel flew back, also dropping hi sword like Jelze.



Blaze ran at Angel...

Blade ran at Jelze...



'STOP!!!!!!!!!!!'



Blade and Blaze suddenly stopped, frozen in one position...



'...the effect will not last for long...get up!'

It was TIME, he had frozen Blade and Blaze for a few seconds....he was with Gargant who held Lori. She was unconscious...

'Let us go to Carrotus...' Gargant said, '..we must form the resistance together...'

'Is Lori okay?' Jelze asked.

'She is still alive, don't worry.'

'Let us hurry, the effect is beginning to wear off.'

'Just one last thing!' Angel said as he began creating something around both Blade and Blaze's hands. He placed handcuffs on them and replaced their swords with bananas.

'That'll hold them for a while...'

'If anyone said you didn't have any humour Hell's Angel then they were wrong!' Jelze said...



The foursome left the rabbit and the robot, who would both feel stupid once they awoke form their frozen position...

TIME, Gargant, Rumbo and Jelze went back to Carrotus, New Carrotus....



'Jesus this is complicated.' Jelze stated.

'I know...I know...'

'Rumbo are you okay?'

'...Not really...I feel kinda weak.'

'Sorry man.' Hell's Angel said within his mind. Jelze was able to hear him.

'That guy's impressive, creating swords and stuff...'

'Yeah...he's the rabbit I was long ago...'



They travelled to the North of Carrotus, outside the forest. At the same time something else approached...



The whole of the resistance stood outside the forest as Splash and Kaz, who was carrying Talec, approached and landed safely outside the forest.

'Wow!' Black Sheep said

'Talec! You're alive!' Nobara said, running over and hugging him. Talec blushed.

'Erm, yeah but I can't help you as much as before...my powers have been lost...'

'Did you die from the explosion?' Dr Jones asked.

'Yes...'

'What about Rumbo?' Black Sheep asked.



'HE'S VERY MUCH ALIVE!'



Everyone turned and saw Rumbo Renegade Rabbit standing side by side with Jelze Goldrabbit, who stood next to TIME and Gargant...

'RUMBO!' Talec said.

'Good to see you made it mate!'

'But my powers...'

'I heard Talec...don't worry I'm back and this time nothing's gonna stop me....I'm sorry everyone...'

'For what?' Dr Jones asked.

'Thinking I was the best, now I realise that I'm like the rest of you.'

'Hey!' Black Sheep said.

'Not like that, I mean that we're all individuals, doing our bit. Listen things are gonna sound complicated but I need us all to go to Carrotus Castle, to save Jazz who's been imprisoned there.'

'Not again!' Dr Jones said.

'Hehe, this time it's not the Queen...'

'Whos the purple rabbit and that handsome rabbit?' Kaz asked.

'I'm Gargant...' he said, 'and this is basically TIME, an incarnation.'

'TIME...' Talec said, 'I am a slave to you no longer...'

'Hehe' TIME said, 'I am afraid the chat must now end. Rumbo has something he must do and we must must go with him.'

'For he is our leader?' Splash said.

'....Erm...' Nobara said, 'WHY NOT?'

'Me?' Rumbo said, 'I can't...'

'You already are!' Kaz said, 'Come on...'



'HEY WAIT UP!'



Rumbo remembered the voice. That sweet subtle voice...

'Lori...' Rumbo looked over to her, who had now awoken from Gargant's grasp. None of them knew it was her laying in Gargant's arms.

'Rumbo!' she said, running over to him and giving him such a big hug.

'Lori!' he said back, both their ears completely red.

'You saved my life, Rumbo! Thank you...'

Rumbo suddenly remembered who Lori really was, his cousin....he felt like crying...yet he knew it was for the best...



'Let's go, mac!' Hell's Angel said inside his head. Lori heard it...

'What the...' she said.

'You'll find out soon enough!' Rumbo replied, 'Come on everyone!'



The resistance left for Carrotus Castle, about three miles South...

They all reached Carrotus Castle in under three hours. All were knackered, yet the ones who could fight were up the front. Dr Jones cuddled Lori who was still weak, Jelze and Talec stood together and behind the leader, Rumbo Rabbit...



Rumbo gave th signal to stop as they reached the gates.

'Beware, Rumbo,' Gargant said, 'this is not the same place you went to last time...'

A loudspeaker was attached to the gate. Suddenly somebody spoke through it, 'Who is it?'

'Rumbo Rabbit, let us in at once!'

'That voice...' Lori said

'hehehehe' the voice croaked, 'you think I'm gonna let people like you in?'

'Rumbo!' Lori said, 'It's Devon!'

'What the...' Dr Jones said

'FIGHT ME, RABBIT MORTALS!' Devon said as he suddenly appeared out of the ground in front of the gate...



-Let Battle Commence-

Rumbo, Jelze and Dr Jones Vs Devon

'I can't fight,' Talec said, 'I'll sit out.'

'Lets nail him!' Jelze said.

'Let me take him,' Angel said inside Rumbo's head.

'Why?' Rumbo asked. Everyone else stared at him blankly.

'Because...just let me, please?'

'Alright,' Rumbo said, allowing his body to change into Hell's Angels.

'Oh no not again!' Nobara said.

'It's okay!' Jelze said, 'This guy is gonna help us, trust me.'

'Who is that?' Talec said.

'The Rumbo you never knew,' Angel said to him, 'Jelze stand together with Dr J. I'm nailing this sucker.'

Angel created large metal gloved on his paws and ran at Devon. Devon jumped and tried firing his ice gun. He missed as Angel rolled to one side. He turned round and hit at Devon, this time getting his leg.

'Argh!' Devon said, falling to the floor.

Angel then created a blade in his hand, the blade of a sword...

'WAIT!!!!!!!!!' came a loud voice from behind Angel and beyone the gates. The gates suddenly opened as from beyond the gates somebody approached..it was Blade

'What the...' Angel said.

'You were...'

'Wasn't me!' Blade said, 'Nebula incarantion of me! Yes I am still under his power and I'm going to show you what the real Blade is like...'

'Angel...' Rumbo said inside him.

'Okay...' Angel said, changing back into Rumbo, who kept holding the same sword.

'Lets end this now...' Rumbo said to Blade.



-LET BATTLE COMMENCE-

Rumbo Vs Blade

'I envy you...' Balde said, 'So popular, like your death with so many people. Pity you must die now.'

'Not a chance...' Rumbo said, 'Not until my mother learns the truth...'

'That a boy, son!' Gargant said,

Everyone stared at Gargant.

'SON?' Nobara said.



Just as Blade went at Rumbo, something struck Blade in the back. It was another sword, stabbing him right through the chest.

Blade turned around. A rabbit stood there, alone, wearing a trenchcost like Rumbo...he even had blue fur, well sky blue...

'YOU...' Blade started.

'Yes,' the rabbit said, 'me Blade, I remember fighting you a few times...'

Rumbo and everyone else looked at the rabbit...

'Defalcon!' Blade said as his last words, falling to the ground, dead.

Defalcon looked up at Rumbo and said, 'He'll be alive when this is all over...'

'Defalcon?' Jelze said, 'I remember you...another TIME traveller.'

'...' Rumbo said.

'Indeed that is,' Talec said, 'I met him once, many a year ago. Always travelled alone. A lot like you, Rumbo.'

'Indeed I am who you say,' Defalcon replied, 'And you must be the renegade?'

'...Yes...' Rumbo said, 'Why did you...'

'Come here? I am here to help you. I travel through TIME, that is my job. Maybe I never became a TIME Guardian but I was one of the few TIME travellers, unlike Blade, who never did bad.'

'Thank you...' TIME said to him, 'I knew you would turn up some time...'

'Pleasure boss, a pleasure.'

'Get up!' Lori said as she appraoched Devon. An angry expression filled her face.

'Ugh!' Devon said, 'Where am I?'

'Huh?'

'Whats up with him?' Kaz asked.

'Where am I.....' Devon looked up at Lori, 'oh god, oh god! Get away from me! GET AWAY FROM ME!'

'Now he remembers me!' Lori said with a smile. Dr Jones hugged her.

'Another trance?' Talec asked Rumbo.

'Yup. Nebula's messing with us.'

'Nebula must be stopped,' Defalcon said, 'but how are we going to do that?'

'We don't know yet...' Jelze said, 'but all we know is that its gonna be more then a gunfight.'

'Come on...' Rumbo said as he walked into the castle. As he walked across the front lawn something began to happen. A distinct feeling appeared in his head, one that was eery and unpleasant. Rumbo looked around him, then shaked his hea to try and loose the feeling. It didn't budge.

'Rumbo are you alright?' Talec asked.

'...'

The body of Blade began to move....

'What the...' Rumbo said as his vision suddenly changed. Everything seemed blurry and different coloured. Everything was now either purple, dark green or dark red.

Rumbo couldn't walk properly anymore. It was as if he had been spinning around on the spot and made himself so dizzy that even standing was impossible.

Blade....unaware to anyone but Rumbo....got up from the ground. Everyone else saw the body just lying there as if he was still dead.

'They do not see the truth...' Blade said, 'you're seeing a world that Nebula has really created. Underneath this exterior is something even worse...'

Rumbo fell to the ground. Blacksheep and Nobara ran over to him but suddenly some kind of forcefield stopped them at the open gate.

'Rumbo!' Lori shouted out.

Everyone else stared on.

'Nebula is still creating New Carrotus as we speak...'

'Who are you?' Rumbo said, looking up to Blade, 'You're not the Blade I remember...'

'There never was a Blade you fool! I am still the same yet I am still non existant, not in the real world...'

'What?'

'Don't you get it? Don't you see the reality. Gargant thought I would be a useless experiment and so he banished me...'

'You're...a creation?'

'Yes...the same as you Rumbo...'

'No, that cannot be...'

Suddenly everone else saw the truth, the blurry shapes, the Blade standing before Rumbo...

'Blade?' Talec said out loud.

'No,' Defalcon said, 'I know who Blade really is. He was the second creation...Nebula's creative brother.'

'What?'



Blade ran at Rumbo and kicked him. Rumbo screamed in agony. The pain was more painful then you would believe.

'Listen to me, Rumbo...you and I are of creative blood. Gargant says he is your father...'

'STOP THIS!' Gargant said, running towards the forcefield. He managed to break through it.

'Well look at this, father and sons reunited. Isn't this a joyous of days?'

'Blade, you're wrong! Rumbo IS my son. You are nothing but a useless creation...'

'I won't have it! Father I should be the one with Nebula's power. I was created FIRST!'

'That's why you so badly want to take over Carrotus!' Rumbo said, 'Is this what it is all about, revenge on Gargant?'

'And Nebula! I tried to steal his power before but I failed...'

'Blade, you're time to die is now!' Gargant shouted.

'COME AT ME, POPS!'



-LET BATTLE COMMENCE-

Blade Vs Gargant

'Dad don't do this...' Rumbo said.

'Im sorry son but this is something I must finish...'

'AAAHHHHHHHH!' Blade screamed as he ran at Gargant, raising his sword and trying to slice his chest. Gargant moved backwards and created a sword in his hand.

'WHY DON'T YOU JUST USE A ROKET LAUNCHER ON ME, FATHER?'

'BECAUSE I'M MORE DECENT THEN YOU THOUGHT.'

'AND THAT WILL BE YOUR DOWNFALL!' BLade said, somehow creating another sword in his other hand.

'What the...' Rumbo said.

'This isn't Blade, Rumbo,' Gargant said, 'It's Nebula...the Blade we know is still in TIME...'

Blade changed and morphed into the red rabbit incarnation of Nebula.



-Sorry if you're not keeping up with all this. Lets just say that Blade is still tied up with bananas in his hands and this Blade is Nebula tricking them all. He's telling Rumbo all this to try and confuse him and twist him-



The forcefield wasn't strong enough for Jelze and Defalcon. Talec tried to break through but then remembered his powers were lost.

'Oh here we go!' Nebula said, 'The party is all here to defeat me. How nice!'

'This is going to be the end...' Defalcon said.

'We must end this now...' Jelze said.

'Once we defeat Nebula it will be all over...' Gargant

'Then the final fight will begin!' Nebula said.



-LET THE FINAL BATTLE COMMENCE-

Rumbo, Defalcon, Gargant, Jelze Vs Nebula

'What a team you have there, Rumbo!'

Nebula closed his eyes and summoned three zombies from behind Rumbo and three robots from the future beside him.

'Those robots...' Jelze said, 'I remember them...'

'They are from your time, Jelze, ones I purposly created.' Nebula replied.

The Zombies appraoched Rumbo, running at him. They carried long swords. Rumbo tried to hold two of them off as they attacked at once. They were strong against him.

'RUMBO!' Slayer said through the other side of the forcefield

'What is going on?' Devon said out loud.

'SHUT UP!' Lori said, 'Rumbo you have to fight back. You need more weapons...'

Rumbo suddenly smiled. His body began to change through free will. Angel now appeared in his place.

'HA HA now the party is about to begin!'

Everyone saw him and smiled.

Angel jumped high into the air by decreasing his gravity and created two stakes in his hands. Falling to the floor he stabbed both zombies in the chests, making them squeal like pigs. The third zombie wasn't far behind.

Defalcon went at one of the robots, firing from his blaster. He shot at its head and nothing happened.

'(/)!' he said.

Jelze decided it was time he showed TIME what he was really made of. Noticing a small red crystal in the cntre of the robots bodies he fired at it, causing the body to crack open and reveal wires and circuitry.

Jelze did a flying kick at the robot and caused it to explode.

'HAHA!' Nobara said, 'Nice one Jelze!'

Jelze smiled.

Defalcon did the same with the robot he was against. The third robot ambushed Defalcon and kicked him to the ground, holding a gun to his head.

'NO WAY PAL!' came Jelze's voice as he flying kicked the third robot....

The third Zombie then pulled out a Uzi. Angel jumped over him andkicked him in the back. The zombie fell down onto his front. He turned and was almost ready to fire. But as he turned he saw that Angel had gone.

'HIYA!' Angel said as he stabbed the zombie in the heart. He had moved round it and created another stake.



Jelze and Defalcon had finished the last robot. All the zombies were dead. Only one person remained.



Gargant went at Nebula, the experiment he should never have created. They both wielded swords.

Angel changed back to Rumbo.

'You made a big mistake, Gargant!' Nebula said.

'Yes I created you!'

'I also made the mistake of allowing you to work with me! You betryed me!'

'YOU BETRAYED ME!'

'Why did you help me?'

'Because I thought I couldn't defeat you. Then I found Rumbo after all these years and realised that he never gave up. He has dies twice and still he lives. He is my son and I love him.'

Rumbo sheaded a tear...

'Rumbo, if not me, will defeat you...wether or not you kill me now...'

'Then you won't mind me doing this!' Nebula said, stabbing Gargant right through the heart, 'Father!'

'NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!' Rumbo screamed as Gargant fell to the ground...Nebula standing before him...

Gargant lay there, dead...

Nebula looked up at Rumbo, Rumbo looked up at Nebula with tearful eyes.

'...' Rumbo didn't have the words.

'It is time for me to leave. You can take Jazz and the Queen, they're inside the castle. Spaz stays with me. In the past my forces of Zombies are coming and from the future the robots are coming. The creations, followers of me still exist on this planat. If you still want to defaeat me you must stop them first...'

'Why are you telling me this?' Rumbo said.

'Because....' Nebula said, suddenly disappearing into nothingness.



Everyone lay there in sorrow. Rumbo went to his father and rested his face in his fur, crying his eyes out. Everyone else cried with him. They felt his sorrow.

Everyone stood silently, their eyes all wet. TIME at that one moment stood still...



Rumbo Rabbit picked up his dead father and walked further into the grounds of Carrotus Castle. Everyone else followed like a parade at a funeral march.

Rumbo walked inside, Jelze and Talec right behind him. Lori stood behind them, almost inbetween them.

'...Mother....' Rumbo called out into the castle.

No answer.

'...Queen of Old Carrotus. My mother who I thought was dead...'

No answer.

'The one who banished me away and left me cold, creating the rabbit I am today.'

There was a shuffling sound at the end of the hall. The Queen came out. With her stood a painful looking Jazz and Princess Eva, who kissed him on the cheek to try and make him feel better.

'My mother,' Rumbo continued, 'my half sister, my half cousin. The brother of my half cousin Lori.'

Lori gasped a little.

The Queen looked in Rumbo's arms and saw Gargant lying there dead.

'You mean....?'

'I was the rabbit you gave birth to with Gargant. He left me with you but then you realised the power of creation from Gargant...'

'Rumbo...it can't be.'

'Maybe I don't have those powers,' Rumbo said, as he began to change into Angel. By the time he had finsihed with the Queen gobsmacked, Angel replied, 'but I do, mother. I remember the past and I remember the way you through me out of the castle. Do you remember me Eva?'

Eva looked back and said, 'I don't...'

'We used to play in the garden together, you know, hide and seek in the maze. I remember I would hide in the far corners and see if you would spot me as you glanced down there. You had a funny way of doing that...'

Eva began to remember.

'I remember you'd hide in one specific place where raspberries were growing on the sides. Boy it became so easy for me.'

A tear came out of Eva's eye, 'Brother, the one they called...'

'Hell's Angel, I am that one. A part of Rumbo Rabbit who now lives of Nebula's powers. It all happened when Rumbo tried committing suicide.'

Angel changed back into Rumbo.

'You...' the Queen started, 'it is you...you were my little guy. I couldn't keep you for I knew damage might be taken on people from your powers...I needed to take you somewhere far away to avoid any damage, where you would most likely forget...'

'Forget my powers?' Rumbo replied, 'Well that worked, then TIME summoned me as his new Guardian and I found my TIME travelling powers..ones I sippsedly had when I grew up...'

'Rumbo,' Jazz said, 'I thought you would be dead...'

'Hehe, I've died twice in my lifetime. Im still living on. I have to stop Nebula once and for all.'

'But how?' Talec said, 'If you kill him you end all life everywhere...'

'...rumbo...the likeliness of changing Nebula's mind is impossible...' it was TIME who stood as a light blue coloured rabbit.

'I want my revenge,' Rumbo said, 'he killed my father and I want him......back........alive......'

'Rumbo?' Jelze said out loud.

'Talec how far would you say the TIME mountain is from here..?'

'About twelve miles, why?'

'Meet me there half way!' Rumbo said as he transported himself into TIME, directing himself towards TIME mountain...



Only TIME and Talec (and Jelze a little) realised what Rumbo had in mind...

Rumbo found himself at TIME mountain. He saw the TIME stone...standing alone. This was undoubtedly a trap.



'So who's waiting for me behind the next corner?' Rumbo yelled out, drawing out his sword, already realising who it would be.

'You guess correctly, my old friend...'



Blaze suddenly appeared from behind the TIME stone, wielding another golden sword like Rumbo's.

'Left Blade back at TIME Central?'

'He betrayed me. I only fought with him due to the numbers...it was fairer on me that way.'

'The last time, Rumbo,' Blaze said, clutching his sword firmly.

'You don't have to do this...' Rumbo replied.

'We are enemies of the extreme, the extemities of life.'

'You were created to defeat me?'

'It was my only purpose...'



-LET BATTLE COMMENCE-

Rumbo Vs Blaze



Rumbo and Blaze held their swords out, ready to do battle. There was only to be one winner this time.....



Meanwhile....back at Carrotus castle.

Talec and TIME stood beside each other, knowing what Rumbo was going to attempt.

'Would it really still be there?' Talec said.

'..no...'

'A trap?'

'...yes...'

'The molecular structur, right?' Jelze said.

'...yes...to alter it back...'

'To the way it was before?'

'Yes Jelze.'

'But why didn't we do this before?'

'Because we all knew the TIME stone wouldn't be there, even Rumbo...'

'So why has he gone there?'

'...TIME?' Talec said.

TIME smiled, 'Because not even Nebula has the real stone...'

'WHAT?'

'Then who has this TIME stone then?' the Queen asked.

'...the TIME stone is the stone that creates the world. Gargant invented it. Nebula was a creation from Gargant who was meant to take over Gargant's role and become the new creator. Now Nebula is evil he wanted the TIME stone to alter the world, rather then create. Therefore by doing so he has altered the TIME stone itself, not just the molecular structure but....'

'It's location!' Jelze said.

'Exactly!' Talec said, 'which means that not even Nebula knows where it is...'

'If we can find it...' Jazz said.

'We can stop Nebula, the way he changed our planet by changing it back!'

'But who is going to go?' Defalcon said.

'Huh?' Lori said.

'Remember what Nebula said to Rumbo, the attacks from past, present and future...people must go to each and stop these attacks. Another party must go and find the TIME stone, meaning four parties. I say about three in each...'

'So the resistance has to split up?' Jazz said.

'Yes in order to defeat Nebula.'

Rumbo and Blaze fought. Only two survived.....



Rumbo and Blaze struck swords. Blaze kicked at Rumbo and made him collapse backwards to the floor. He rolled over and got up, defending a very quick attack from Blaze. Rumbo spun round and did a kick right at Blaze's 'chin', cutting Rumbo's foor on the metal and denting Blaze's chin. He stumbled yet managed to stay on foot...



'Okay then...' Talec said, 'I suppose ill stay in the present. Splash and Coppertop your with me.'

'Right!' Coppertop said

'Gotcha!' Splash said, checking his booster was stable on his back.



'So I'm in the past for definite,' Slayer said, the Last Patriot. He checked and saw he was loaded nicely with stakes and such.

'Me too!' Kaz said.

'One other we need.'

'Mmmmm,' Kaz said, 'how about you, Ducky?'

'Erm..err...' Ducky said, 'I don't know...'

'Come on!' Slayer said, 'Join the team!'

'You'll need a way into the past,' Jelze said, 'So I'll go with you!'

'You coming, Ducky?' Slayer said

'Why not then!' Ducky said with great hesitation.



'Okay then!' Defalcon said, 'I'm in the future. Who's with me?'

'Me!' Ax Man said, 'I wanna take on some hard nut robots!'

'Whatever,' said a mysterious, unknown rabbit.

'Okay then you two will come with me.' Defalcon said, 'But what about Rumbo?'





The fight still continued....

The fight lived on.....



Blaze struck Rumbo on the chin, causing a massive bruise that stunned him. Rumbo collapsed and felt a presence inside his soul.



'I am ready to break free.'

Rumbo blinked slowly and realised what it was and what he had to do.



He got up and slowly he let his sword loosen from his grip. He walked towards Blaze, facing him like a true warrior.



Blaze raised his sword.



Rumbo simply stared....



Blaze lowered his sword with a mighty swoop.



Rumbo felt the blade stick deep into his heart, exactly where he wanted the sword to go.



Now his heart was in two, both souls were free at last.



Rumbo collapsed to the floor, his front covered with blood.



As Blaze walked away Rumbo's body began to glisten. Blaze didn't notice at first.......

Wack! I was going to claim the page. Curses!

[Rumbo Rabbit]

Blaze turned round and saw Rumbo lying there, blood covering his chest. He started to turn white, yet a mysterious glow formed around him like an outline. It made his cheeks shine from blood red to sunshine yellow. Blaze winced his eyes as he saw the outline becoming brighter and brighter, which in turn made the outline larger and larger.



'What in the...' Blaze started but what he saw next made him unable to speak...



Laying on the ground was not just one rabbit but two! One was Rumbo Rabbit, the other was Hell's Angel. They laid there as if they were dead, yet both got up at exactly the same speed, each looking as alive as normal.



'No!' Blaze cried as he realised what had happened. He hadn't hurt Rumbo, he had helped him by splitting the two apart.



'Congratulations!' Rumbo said, drawing his sword.

'For helping us break free!' Hell's Angel said, holding his hands forward and creating a samurai sword in his grasp.

'And allowing us...' Rumbo said, jumping forward a little.

'To defeat you!' Hell's Angel said, also jumping forward.



Blaze stared back at them, 'You two should be dead! Neither of you exist!'

'Well start believing in us, pal!' Hell's Angel said, 'For it won't be long until you won't get the chance!'



As Blaze ran at Rumbo, Hell's Angel stepped in with a foot and tripped Blaze up, smashing his chin a little on ground impact. Blaze dropped his weapon.

Rumbo walked up to him and picked his body up with his free hand.

'The trouble with people like you,' Rumbo said, 'Is that you're not really people after all.'

Rumbo then threw Blaze in front of him, making Blaze dislocate his right arm. He screeched in pain a little.

Hell's Angel approached him, 'And you say that neither of us exist?' Hell's Angel kicked him and Blaze screamed.

Rumbo came over and did the same, 'There's a question you have to answer, Blaze. Do any of us exist?'

Hell's Angel then stabbed his samurai sword through his right leg, going straight through and impaling him on the ground, 'For it seems that Nebula overpowers us with his powers of creation. But he doesn't truly exist either!'

Rumbo stabbed his sword through Blaze's left arm, 'And neither does Blade, and therefore neither do YOU!'



'NOOOOOO! Blaze screamed as Hell's Angel made a new samurai sword and stabbed it where it would undoubtedly leave Blaze for dead......



A few minutes later they took the blades out and Hell's Angel made the two samurai swords disappear.

Hells Angel smiled, 'You freed me.'

'I know...'

'Why?'

'Nobody deserves to be inside me, Angel.'

'You think so huh?'

'Yeah.'

'You don't know yourself that well do you?'

Rumbo laughed and then looked at Hell's Angel.

'We must go somewhere,' Rumbo said.

'Carrottus?'

'Not yet. Nebula's realm?'

'Yes, the home of my father. I sense him there.'

'He is still alive?'

'Not in that sense.'

'I am beginning to understand. If only I knew myself more.'

'You will one day. Angel, yet I do not, as you say, know even me yet!'



The two hugged each other in gratitude.

'You know what I'm gonna do when this is over?' Rumbo asked.

'What?'

'Stay a renegade. That's what I am and that's what I'll always be. What about you, Angel?'

'Um...I don't know. Live an ordinary life? Return to the castle?'

'Its up to you Angel, you are your own person now.'

'It doesnt feel like it yet. Nebula must be defeated.'

'Don't worry,' Rumbo said, 'We'll defeat him, one day.'

'Soon?'

'Soon, very soon.'

The four who will travel into the past to fight against the vampires....



This next coming chapter will be souly based on the Past adventure. It will then move onto the Present chapter and then the Future chapter. Read and be amazed at all of them...



Chapter 2: PAST

Jelze, Slayer, Kaz and a nervous Ducky held each others hands as Jelze began the process of warp invention.

'Fight with honour, Jelze,' TIME said to him.

'I will, my lord, I will...'



Then after a few seconds a warp appeared at their feet and began to slowly suck them into it. They would not be back for some time.



Destination: PAST

TIME: Unknown

Location: Wild West territory



All four found themselves in the middle of a desert where nothing appeared to exist.

'Okay,' Jelze said, 'We have to find our way to whereever the vampires are planning to head into our present.'

'Say what?' Kaz asked.

'Look we find the warp the vampires are going through and we shut it down ok?'

'Erm, yeah Jelze I get it now.'

'Good.'

'Shhhhh!' Slayer said.

They were all silent for a while.

'What?' Ducky said in a whisper.

'They're nearby.' Slayer said.

'Vampires?' Jelze asked.

'Yes...Southwards.'

'Okay, we head that way.'

'Many of them..' Slayer added.

'Great so what do we do about the odds against us?' Ducky asked.

'We destroy them!' Jelze said, 'Come on gang lets go. Make sure your armed well.'



They went south through the desert, past scraps and bits of bone that were left from camels and such.

'Do camels exist on this planet?' Slayer asked.

'Well if we have even heard of them then yes!' Kaz said.

'I guess so. Lets keep going. It isn't far now.'



They reached the edge of the desert that led to a run down village where the vampires seemed to be gathering. They all gathered in one large hotel like building.

Slayer led the party of four towards the hotel, with Jelze behind and Ducky and Kaz neck and bird neck. Sand got wedged between the feet of each rabbit, which irritated Ducky immensely as it made her walking so much more difficult.

‘This sand’s annoying me!’ Ducky pronounced as she stopped to shake her feet. That wouldn’t really help much, considering they were always walking on sand.

‘Just think of something else!’ Kaz said, ‘like buttercups in an open field.’

‘Or how about you carry me, Kaz?’

‘No way, dude I’ve had enough of that for one day. That Talec was bad enough.’

Slayer then put a smile on his face. He turned to Ducky and said, ‘You’re a gorgeous genius you are!’

Ducky blushed through her fur. Her ears lit up.

‘Kaz,’ Slayer then said, ‘fly up and see what you can see. Fly over the top of the hotel and find anything that would be of use to us!’

Kaz nodded (with regret) and flew up into the air, soaring high above everyone so that the vampires wouldn’t notice him as an intruder, only as a mere bird. As Kaz flew over he noticed something strange about the formation of the vampires.

‘The story of Noah’s Ark,’ he said as he went over them and inspected the hotel. It was a tall building, so tall that Kaz had to fly higher to get over the roof. It seemed normal to him.

After about five minutes, with the other three travelling closer about a quarter of a mile, Kaz returned and found them.

‘Well?’ Jelze asked.

‘They’re going in two’s!’ he said proudly.

‘And?’

‘Nope that’s it. The hotel looks all right to me.’

‘Okay,’ Ducky said, ‘that wasn’t worth it.’

‘It’s a ritual…’

‘What did you say, Slayer?’ Jelze asked.

‘Moving in a formation. They’re attending some kind of a meeting. In twos it means some kind of a ritual…like a ceremony…’

‘The ceremony of them coming to our world?’ Kaz asked.

‘Most likely.’

‘Let’s move gang!’ Jelze said as he began to run towards the village hotel. Slayer and the others followed persistently.



The words of Nebula could be heard spoken within the walls…



Slayer reached the entrance and noticed all the vampires were inside.

‘Go inside and hide somewhere!’ Slayer said, ‘I have to get something…’

Slayer waltzed off into the village, the other three left bewildered. They did as he asked though….

As Slayer went deeper into the village, Kaz, Ducky and Jelze went further into the hotel, their hearts beating like mad.

They entered a small chamber room at the front of the hotel where a reception desk was with a small bell on it. The floor was quite clean but there were numerous vampire sanded footprints positioned in one constant pattern that led into the next room. The chamber also led up to another floor with a set of red carpeted stairs with a golden edge all the way round.

‘Nice carpet!’ Kaz said as he walked into the room.

‘The footprints lead on to the other room,’ Ducky said, ‘shall we go in?’

‘Lets take a look,’ Jelze said as he followed the footprints. The next room was blinded with a set of blood red curtains so Jelze simply had a sneak peak through the middle of them. He made sure he wasn’t visible to the vampires inside. What he saw was horrific.

In the room were about a million or so vampires all standing in some kind of pattern. They were all staring at this strange pattern in the middle of the room. It was a circle with a star in the middle of it.

‘The apocalypse,’ Jelze said out loud, yet in a whisper.

‘What’s happening?’ Kaz asked.

Just as Jelze was about to reply the pattern on the floor began to glisten with bright eccentric colours. The vampires shielded their eyes from the light.

‘That makes sense,’ Ducky stated, now able to see too, ‘they hate light.’

‘So what do we do now?’ Jelze asked.

‘We thought you knew!’ Ducky said.

‘…’

‘Kaz have you got any ideas?’

‘…Err…’

‘Kaz are you…’ Ducky said turning round, to find a vampire clutching him by the neck and a gun pointing at his feathered head.

‘Any of you move and the bird becomes a bat, understand?’

They did even if it did sound daft. The vampire had been hiding behind the reception desk.



The vampire forced the three of them into the room full of vampires, still clutching Kaz around the neck.

‘Let go of me!’ he screamed at it.

‘Quiet, Kaz,’ Jelze said, ‘there’s nothing we can do now. We’re gonna be sacrificed.’

‘How do you know?’ Ducky asked.

‘The mark of the apocalypse, plus the fact they need energy to create the warp. They need life energy.’

Some other vampires came over and forced the three onto the mark of the apocalypse, which suddenly lit up with a tall round purple clear force field that prevented the three from escaping.

‘For your treachery you shall be sacrificed and used to get us into the present.’

‘That’s it!’ Ducky said, ‘that’s why Nebula told Rumbo about the vampires so he could USE US AS THE SACRIFICE!’

‘It was a trap!’ Jelze said, ‘but what about the ones in the future?’

‘I don’t know, Ducky, I don’t know…’

Suddenly the pattern on the floor lit up with a red colour.

‘It was nice knowing you all,’ Kaz said.

‘HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAA!!!!!!!’ came a loud scream as Slayer broke through the roof and landed next to the force field. He clutched a very impressive flamethrower and a stern look in his eye.

‘The last patriot!’ one of the vampires shouted, ‘get him!!!!!’

As the vampires ran at him Slayer ignited the flamethrower and fired flame after flame onto each vampire. They screamed as they saw the light and screamed even louder when the flames spread across their bodies. It was like the scene at the end of the Alien film with the Alien and the eggs…beautiful to the hero’s eye.

Slayer stood in a quite impressive pose as all the vampires in the room were set alight and began to burn on the ground. The purple force field and the red colours on the pattern faded and disappeared.

‘Thanks, man!’ Jelze said as he stood out of the pattern.

‘Come on everyone!’ Slayer said, ‘we have to get to the roof, there’s a warp there that we can use…’

As they went out into the reception area they saw sand footprints heading up the stairs.

‘Oh no!’ Ducky said, ‘they’re going after the warp!’

‘Let’s go!’ Slayer said.

‘Kaz, fly up to the roof and see what you can find. We’ll meet you there!’ Jelze ordered

‘Right!’ he said as he left the chamber and flew off into the sky.

‘Stick together, team!’ Slayer said as they went up the stairs after the vampires.

When they had reached the top of the stairs, on the second floor, they found that the lift was in use.

‘Ducky, go with Slayer up the stairs!’ Jelze said, ‘I’ll stay here and try to stop the lift.’

‘Don’t play hero, Jelze!’ Slayer said.

‘Look I’m gonna prove myself as TIME’s Guardian, so let me do this!’

‘Okay, Jelze. Ducky lets go!’

Ducky and Slayer continued up another flight of stairs.

Jelze forced open the lift doors and looked up to the see the lift was indeed heading up. The cable that went up with the lift dangled underneath and went up with it. Jelze saw the cable an jumped for it, only just managing to clutch it. He started to climb up the cable as the lift went closer to the top.



Kaz had just got to the top and saw the warp, yet no vampires were about. They were in the lift. Kaz landed by the warp and waited. If the other’s failed it would be up to him to stop them…



As Ducky and Slayer went up the stairs they saw more footsteps. Slayer drew out a stake as a massive vampire came out and attacked them; colliding with Slayer and knocking him back. Ducky went over to Slayer and helped him up.

‘Kill it for me, Ducky!’ Slayer said as he suddenly passed out.

‘Oh no,’ Ducky said as the vampire came closer….



Jelze had now climbed up so he was about a metre underneath the ascending lift. He drew out his blaster and fired at the bottom of the lift, creating a massive hole. Three out of seven vampires fell through, one hitting Jelze and almost knocking him off the cable. The other four vampires, like the other three, carried blasters and fired down at Jelze. Jelze got hit on the foot yet he persevered. He fired up at them as foot bled severely.

‘AAAAAAHHHHH!’ Jelze screamed as he took out a grenade and threw it into the lift. He then saw a lone cable that wasn’t moving close by and he jumped for it, leaving the lift to continue heading up. After a while the lift exploded, killing all the vampires and destroying the lift. It became detached from the top cables and so began to fall down, towards Jelze.

‘Crap!’ Jelze shouted as he began sliding down the cable as a burning lift came plummeting after him. Jelze used his blaster and shot at one of the lift doors below, causing it to explode open. As he became vertical with it he threw himself off the cable and went for the lift door. As he jumped the lift became ever so close. Just as Jelze clambered through the lift door the lift catapulted past it, meaning that Jelze would have only had a split second left to stay alive. Jelze laid there, out of breath and completely shattered……..





I think thats the best bit of the story so far, dont ya think? What do you think the best bit was?

And if they didn't go, then they wouldn't have stopped them, so they WOULD come, so they wouldn't, so... oh, I'm all confused. Just keep it up, confusing or not.

Ducky watched the dangerous and monstrous vampire slowly walk towards her. She was scared stiff yet she managed to take the stake from Slayer's paws.



'Erm....nice vampire...' Ducky said, feeling a little embarrassed.

The vampire strangely roared at her, causing her to fall on her bum.

Ducky saw that her hands were shaking, as well as the stake.

'You dare to challenge me?' the vampire said.

Ducky stood up and stared back with a stern look in her eye.

'Yeah, so whatcha gonna do?'

The vcampire laughed loudly. Just as he did Ducky leapt forward and stuck the stake deep into the vampires heart, killing it in a matter of seconds. The vampire fell down and began to bleed all over the floor's carpet.

'That'll teach ya!' Ducky said, wiping her hands and going over to Slayer. She stayed by him for as long as he began to wake up...



Kaz stood on his own, bedazzled that none of the vampires were even on the roof yet.

'Must be a very tall hotel.' Kaz said to himself.



Jelze began to take the stairs. He was two floors below Ducky and Slayer. They met up as Slayer was coming forward...

They all went for the roof....

Kaz stood by himself, alone, hearing the wind whisper through his ears. He turned and saw the warp. It seemed smaller then before...



'Oh no!' he said, 'It's closing. We don't have much time!'

'And neither do you, Kaz!'

Kaz turned around and saw something horrible standing before him.



'Come on!' Jelze said as they ran faster up the stairs, 'I can feel the warp closing. We don't have long!'

'Why can't we use the lift?' Ducky asked.

'Um...well...it kinda got destroyed...'

'Jelze!' Slayer said out loud.

'I couldn't help it okay? Look the worst is over with we just need to get to the roof.'

'One floor to go!' Ducky stated as the last floor, floor forty, approached them...



'Wh..wh...what are you?' Kaz said to the thing in front of him.

'My name is Necromancer,' the thing said to Kaz, leering down at it with its gaupy and horrific expression. It was like a sewage monster made of paper, 'I am here to fight my nemesis...I shall use you to...'



'NECROMANCER!' came a familiar voice to both Kaz and Necromancer.



Necromancer turned round and saw who he was looking for...



'We meet again, Last Patriot!' Necromancer said.

'Indeed we do!' Slayer replied, 'Guys get in the warp its closing.'

'What about you?' Ducky said.

'Just go, forget about me, I have to fight this guy...'

Necromancer was about to pick up Kaz and use him as a lure but Kaz flew up into the air and dodged his grasp.

'Nice one, Kaz!' Jelze said.

'GO!' Slayer said, 'Before its too late!'

'No way man!' Ducky said, 'I wanna fight this time, by your side!'

'Me too!' Jelze said, 'The resistance sticks together, right?'

'Right!' Kaz said, landing next to Ducky.



The four stood opposite the warp, with only Necromancer between them...



-LET BATTLE COMMENCE-

Slayer, Ducky, Kaz and Jelze Vs Necromancer.



'You will all die for your pathetic courage against me!' Necromancer said.

'Nay, it will be you who falls at my hand!' Slayer said, then looked at the others and saw their expressions, 'AT OUR HANDS!'

'YEAH!' the other three said at once.



Necromancer placed his hands into the air and started to create a tornado to try and blow them off the roof.

'Hold onto something!' Jelze said as they went for some piping that led down into the hotel.

Kaz simply flew into the air and dodged the tornado completely. He then went in for an air attack, firing his blaster down at it. The bullets simply moved away from Necromancer when they got too close.

'HAHA!' Necromancer said, making his hand longer and swiping at Kaz. He hit him with a sheer force that made Kaz fall down towards the ground, damaging one of his wings.

'Dammit!' he said as Necromancer started to move closer.

'NOOO! Ducky said, taking out her staff and creating a thunder spell down on Necromancer. It had little effect yet it knocked him to the floor.

'Ducky!' Slayer said, 'Can you cast healing spells?'

'Erm, I think so, I can try!'

'Then do it on Necromancer!'

'What?'

'Just do it, trust me!'

Ducky stood by herself as she tried a healing spell on Necromancer before he got up.

White dust appeared round Necromancer and laid themselves on its body.

'NOOO! Necromancer said as he body began to deteriorate slightly around his legs.

'What the...?' Jelze said.

'Its undead, healing it kills it!' Slayer said as he got up and drew out a stake.

'NOOOO! Necromancer said as his head began to peel off like wallpaper. There was only one thing left for the 4 to do.

Slayer walked up to Necromancer, placed the stake gently on its heart and puches the stake in with his foot. Necromancer screamed and exploded into black dust particles as the stake sunk through its heart. That was the only thing that remained of his entire body.

'Let me!' Jelze said, walking over to the heart and picking it up, removing the stake.

'Ewww!' Ducky said.

Jelze then moved to the edge of the roof and simply threw the heart off the top.

'That won't kill it,' Slayer said, 'But it'll keep him held for another ten years.'

Seeing the warp hole getting smaller and smaller they all jumped in, heading back for the present time.

Chapter 3: PRESENT



Coppertop, Splash and Talec have been called to fight the Creations, possesed members of Carrotus under the powers of Nebula.



The three saw Jelze and his team head into the past at the same time that Defalcon and his team headed towards the future. That left only them in the same TIME to fight the possesed.



'Okay everyone,' Talec said, 'Lets find out where we have to go...'

TIME then spoke in their minds, '...head south until you reach troubled waters...'

'You hear that?' Coppertop said

'Yeah, it was TIME,' Talec replied, 'he speaks the truth. We must go...'



The three left and headed south, watching and waiting for them to all see these troubled waters. Talec was out front, souting the area a few metres away from the other two. Splash was saving his rocket fuel and so walked with the others, by Coppertop.

TAlec suddenly stopped and held out a hand.

'Stay there,' he said as he continued forward. Coppertop and Splash did as they were told.



Talec had seen something glistening in the near distance. It was coming from a forest that was on the other side of a small river that had a wooden plank going across it as a bridge.

Talec saw the plank and began to inspect it. He was picking up some kind of scent.

He noticed a small shadow coming from underneath the plank.

'Show yourself!' Talec said out loud to whatever was there.

A small rabbit came out, who looked normal yet was very isolated looking.

'What is your name?' Talec asked.

'Well,' the frightened rabbit said, walking towards Talec, 'I don't really have a name...you see...'

The rabbit suddenly leapt at Talec, strangling him around the neck with a tight grip. Coppertop and Splash heard the cries of Talec and rushed forward, both preparing to fire at the Creation.

'No, don't!' Talec said, 'He is a simple rabbit who is possessed. If we kill him we kill the rabbit inside! Just get him off of me!'

Splash rushed forward and picked the small rabbit off Talec with ease. Coppertop fecthed some rope out of Splash's backpack as Talec held a sword to the Creation's throat.

Coppertop tied the Creation's hands up and placed him beside the plank.

'Troubled waters, eh?' Splash said with amusement.

'Indeed.'

'You think so, Talec, that was too ea...'

'Don't you get it?' Talec said to him, 'the Creations look like normal people. We don't know whether they are evil or not.'

'Wait a sec!' Coppertop said, 'with the attack in the north Dr Jones and Nobara killed a load of Creations, didn't they?'

'They did?' Talec said.

'Yeah, just outside the forest where they fought Titan.'

'Oh...um...' Talec blushed a little.

'So can we kill it?' Splash asked.

'I don't know...' Talec said, 'if a person lives inside it then we shouldn't, but...'

'WAIT UP GUYS!' came a familiar voice form where the three had come fro. It was Nobara running as fast as she could towards them.

'What a coincidence!' Splash said, 'put some light on the situation for us!'

'The Creations,' Nobara said, 'are spirits of rabbits who have already been killed. In other words when they are possessed...'

'They kill of the being in order to possess it!' Talec finished.

'Yes!'

'SO CAN WE KILL IT?' Splash said.

'Splash!' Coppertop said.

'Oh alright. It didn't kill anyone so lets just leave it...happy now?'

'Yes!' Coppertop said.

'Come on everyone!' Talec said, 'I say we head to the forest and find out where the Creation are being possessed from.'

Just as Talec walked across the plank and got to the other side, he felt his foot slipping away on the cold grass.

'What the...' but it was too late to say any more. Talec's entire body suddenly fell down this deep hole, down a large pipe into an underground sewer system. The other three leered down the hole and jumped in after him.

Talec had landed in some sewage and began to smell a little.

'Now I know what he meant by troubled waters!' Talec said out loud.

The others followed Talec down into the sewer system. Talec, since he fell no jumped, was covered in muc from the bottom of the water.

'Ewwwww!' Nobara said, 'I can feel that stuff on the bottom of my feet.'

'And thanks to Talec I can smell it!' Splash said.

'Oh shut up!' Talec said to them. He then looked around at the sewer piping.

'Where do you think this goes?' Coppertop asked =.

'I think a long distance north,' Talec said, 'remember there were creations by the forest up the north?'

'Oh yeah!' Nobara said, 'you think they're using the sewer system to get around Carrotus?'

'Specially made by Nebula I bet,' Coppertop said.

'But it would take ages to get from here to the north wouldn't it?' Splash said.

Talec saw Splash's backpack, 'They'd need something to move about with, something fast...something that would go across...mucky water...'

Nobara laughed then quietened down when Talec gave her an evil look.

'So are we gonna head north then?' Splash asked.

'It is a trap,' Talec said, 'they are expecting us...'

'How do you know?' Splash replied.

'Think about it, that one creation protecting the sewer entrance here? He was small and unable to do a lot.'

'Good point,' Coppertop said, 'So they might have wanted u to know it was a trap right?'

'Right,' Talec said, 'hopefully TIME will tell us where to...'

'...head South.....'

'Wow that was quick,' Talec said, 'head south you all heard right?'

They all nodded.

'Right so lets go...' Talec said to them, running down the pipe, half covered in...well...whatever it was...



-MEANWHILE- (I bet you lot were waiting for that word...)



'Where to now?' Angel asked Rumbo as they stood on TIME's border.

'We go to Nebula's realm, to meet my dad...'

'Gargant? Isn't he dead?'

'Yes...but not in THAT sense. Trust me I've died three times in my supposed lifetime.'

'I know Rumbo, I lived in your body remember?'

They had a little laugh about that. The Rumbo decided it was time to go.

'Lets go,' Rumbo said.

'Lead the way...' Angel said.

They left, not seeing any other form of life for some time......

Meanwhile, above the surface of Carrottus.



The rest of the resistance stood togehter as they watched the three teams go their separate ways, past, present and future. Lori and Dr Jones hugged in fear that none of them would return, alive that is.

'Hush,' Dr Jones said in a whisper, 'They will be alright, I know it....'

'I'm scared,' Lori said, 'I'm scared about Rumbo. Where is he?'

'I don't know,' Dr Jones replied, I' don't know...'



Rumbo and Angel jumped through TIME's warps endlessly until they reached the outerworld of Nebula's home, what some rabbits called the 'Underworld'. It looked awful, like a maze of caves that were darker then pitch black, and I'm not just talking about the darkness itself. Creatures of both Gargant's and Nebula's creation spawn and feed here, living in the dark to protect and hide themselves away from their creators. They weren't bad creations, not like Nebula...



'So now where?' Angel asked.

'A right then middle and then another right,' Rumbo said, 'I have been here before. It will take us to Nebula's part.'

'That where Gargant once lived?'

'Yes.'

The two then went in through the caves, first the right which bended round to another set, this time of five caves. They took the middle route and headed down a stright yet dark path. Both Rumbo and Angel could see clearly though, they both shared nightvision. Once through here they had to crawl down the right cave as it was smaller and more concealed. This led to an enormous lair that was so high it was like being inside Carrotus Castle.

'Wow...' Angel said.

'Follow me,' Rumbo said as he hot footed it off down a mountain slide which they were standing on. Angel followed. As they went down he saw what looked like a very large cave where people once lived....

Talec, Coppertop, Splash and Nobara headed down the sewer pipe, heading south towards something glowing red and yellow up ahead.



'By the way,' Talec said to Nobara, 'where does your name come from?'

'Thats a secret,' Nobara said, 'but call me Wildie I prefer it.'

'Oh okay...'

'Stop everyone!' Splash said as he saw the glowing piping close up ahead.

'What is over there?' Coppertop asked.

'I have no idea,' Talec said as he stepped a little closer. He observed the glowing carefully. It was pulsing, first red, then yellow and back to red again in a continuous pattern.

'What could it be?' Wildie asked.

'Lets find out!' Splash said as he began running forward.

'Splash, no!' Talec said as heran after him. The others followed too.



After travelling a little more through the pipe they saw what was pulsing with those colours. It was some kind of generator. It was big and semicircular like half a barrel placed on the ground. It had loads of buttons all over it and was glowing with bright colours that made everyone wince their eyes.

'A generator...' Talec said, 'but for what purpose?'

The generator glowed with blue and yellow colours now.

'I think were about to find out,' Splash said as they stood back a little.

The generator suddenly created a large warp above it, which warped three creations on hovercrafts out of it into the sewer pipe. They raced at top speed towards the four rabbits.

'Duck!' Coppertop yelled as they approached. They all did so and only just managed to miss being hit and flattened.

The creations kept going, yet there was one that lagged behind a little. Talec quickly drew out a blaster and shot the creation. He killed it and the hovercraft stopped. He ran over to it and said to the others:

'Guys, go into that warp, I'm going after those creations, ok?'

'Talec,' Wildie said.

'Just do it!' he said back as he sped off on the hovercraft, chasing after the two creations. The others didn't stop and hesitate, they went towards the warp and jumped into it, unawatre of where they were heading...



-MEANWHILE-

'Not far now,' Rumbo said as they had finally reached the bottom of the mountain slide.

'Good,' Angel said, 'my back is killing me.'

'One question, Angel, an you create anything?'

'Erm yeah why?'

'Couldn't you have just created some kind of craft to fly us down the mountain?'

Angel went purple over his red fur, 'Erm...yeah....sorry...'

'Forget about it,' Rumbo said with a smile.

They went across to the large cave and peeped inside it. They saw lots of scientific equipment and documents, all pilled up and not a filing cabinet in sight.

'Tidy,' Angel sarcastically commented with a smile.

'Indeed it is...'

'You can say that again, Rumbo...'

'Erm, Angel, I didn't say that...'

Angel looked at Rumbo, 'Then who...'

Both then suddenly turned and looked into the cave as a purple mist came out of the floor. From the mist came what looked like a floating rabbit with no feet. It was a ghost.

'...Father?'' Rumbo said, walking closer a little.

'Indeed it is my son,' Gargant said back, emerging from the purple mist, 'I no longer lived like I used to.'

Rumbo smiled and began to cry, 'I'm sorry, father...'

'It is not your fault, Rumbo' Gargant said, 'it is my fault for raising you with a father as a liar and untrustworthy.'

'No father,' Rumbo said, 'I know why you did what you did. I understand..'

'I thank you son...both my sons...' Gargant said, looking at Angel. Angel stepped forward a little.

'Do I really exist?' Angel asked Gargant, 'Am I really a person?'

'You were the son I had when you were first born. You were two personalities in the same body. When you were banished from Carrotus Castle you changed and became the Rumbo Rabbit I see before me. You both exist, my sons, I did not have one child I had two. I am so proud of you both...'

'But I have died three times!' Rumbo said, 'And I never knew Angel existed.'

'Does that really matter?' Gargant asked, 'He lives and now you know. You are one person as two. Only you two can stop Nebula. Not even the resistance can.'

'You made that stuff up about me being leader didn't you?' Rumbo said, 'You made me go there by lying to me.'

'It was the only way, Rumbo...'

'I guess so. Nebula has to be stopped.'

'Definitely,' Angel said, 'but how?'

'That is what we must find out,' Gargant said, 'but now is not the time to stand and think. You have a friend in need.'

'Who?' Angel asked.

'Talec,' Rumbo said, sensing him, 'hes alone, underground. I'll go and help him.'

'Me too!' Angel said.

'No, stay here...' Rumbo said, 'I will go alone. Only one of us is going to die, not both.'

Angel nodded with regret.

Rumbo then raced off through a TIME warp, heading back into the sewer piping.

'What can I do?' Angel asked.

'Wait, wait for the others,' Gargant said, 'Past was successful, Present still continues and the Future will succeed...'

Chapter 4: Future

Three rabbits journeying towards the future. They needed a warp generator to get there due to the unpredictability of future TIME settings. Luckily defalcon owned one since he was a TIME traveller.

'Lets go, team!' he said as the warp opened. They all jumped in, one after the other.



The future was undoubtedly different from the present and the past...



Grass was metallic, buildings were non-rectangular and the sun no longer appeared to exist, with the moon taking its full time job in the sky without payment. That was the only kins hearted thing that existed in this 'world'.

'What happened?' Ax man asked.

'Nebula happened, that's what!' Unknown Rabbit said.

'Lets look around,' defalcon said as he led the team into a large, what looked like a city yet was more like a shopping centre. There were about five different 'levels' of houses, buildings and the others were inexplicable.

'Wow,' Ax man said, 'this sure isn't like home.'

'What where Nebula rules at the moment?' Unknown Rabbit said.

'Oh yeah...sorry.'

'Stop everyone,' defalcon said as he heard something coming from around the next corner. He could see a shadow coming from a light somewhere around there. The shadow looked robotic-like.

'Looks like we found out first robot,' Ax man said.

'Quiet,' defalcon said, 'lets follow it and see where it goes.'

They followed it as it went past them and headed towards a docking bay. The docking bay was basically a huge road that suddenly ended in mid air, where cargo ships and fighter ships would land and pick up and drop off cargo and people if necessary.

The three rabbits hid behind some crates half way down the docking bay, out of sight from about ten robots who the one they followed had joined.

'What should we do?' Unknown asked.

'Wait, thats all we can do,' defalcon said.

'Why you so melodramatic?'

'Cause hes playing leader,' Ax man said.

'Over my dead...' Unknown said but was stopped as a large cargo ship landed at the docking bay. It was massive, like a large boat with metal wings and propellers, plus about a million engines stacked around the back of the vessel.

'Shall we hijack it?' Ax man asked.

'We'll be stow-aways,' Unknown said with a smile.

'Lets go!' defalcon said, ignoring the mild joke.

'Jesus....' Unknown said.

'Who?' Ax man asked.

'Come on!' defalcon said to them.

Ax man shrugged their shoulders as he followed Unknown out, heading towards defalcon as he approached the cargo ship.

As the ten robots got in they sneaked on board and hid behind yet another set of crates which were soon to be moved.

'Now what?' Ax man asked.

'Stop asking the quesions!' Unknown said.

'We'll have to get inside.' defalcon said.

'Okay then...' Unknown said as he carefully pulled the lid off one of the crates they hid behind. All three of them managed to jump inside.



-Two cargo carrying robots came over and began taking one crate each-

'Errr....Larry?'

'What is it...Gary?'

'This crate...I can't lift it...'

'You big woss....let me...argh my hands! They were almost ripped off!'

'Let us both try...'

'Still too heavy!'

'Hey...Barry!'

'What?'

'Come over here and help me and Gary lift this crate!'

'Bloomin heck it's heavy!'

'Now what?'

'We need more robots....'

'Oi, Harry!'

'WHAT?'

'Help us lift this crate....'

It took Barry, Larry, Gary and Harry to lift this one crate, which they didn't realise had three heavyweight rabbits inside it. They were only cargo carryers, they weren't exactly meant to be smart.

Ax Man, Unknown Rabbit and Defalcon, when the coast was clear, burst out of their crate and hid in the cargo area of the ship.

'Where's this thing going?' Ax Man asked.

Unknown read the sides of the crates, 'I have a feeling were heading to where the robots are gonna depart for our TIME...'

Defalcon came over and read one side of a crate. 'Atomic weapons' was what was wirtten on it. Unknown saw another with 'Explosives' and then Ax Man saw one that horrified him...

'Ahhh!' he shouted.

'What is it?' Unknown asked.

'Nuclear weapons?' Defalcon asked.

'No...'

'Warheads?' Unknown asked.

'No...'

'Then what?'

'R.....R....RAW FISH!'

'...What?' Defalcon asked.

'They're using Raw fish! Now I am terrified!'

'You gotta be joking, Ax...'

'No way, don't you realise that Rabbis hate the feeling of raw fish. It makes us tingle and loose our concentration.'

'I've never touched raw fish...' Defalcon said.

'Neither have I,' Unknown said.

'Well I have,' Ax Man said, 'It was horrible. Like slime running down your spine.'

'I never felt slime either...' Unknown said.

'Oh for crying out loud shut up you lot!' Defalcon said, 'We have to keep quiet. They're coming back.'

They hid back inside their crate and waited. Two robots came passed their crate and luckilly didn't stop.

'Phew!' Unknown said.

'Close call,' Ax Man said.

'Lets see exactly where this ship is going!' Defalcon said as they got out of the crate and checked their weapons were intact. All of them were well prepared for the worse, even if they had no possible idea what that could be. Well they were soon going to find out...

Ax Man, Defalcon and Unknown were on board the cargo ship heading for a certain part of future Carrotus. They had no idea where they were going, until they had got there.



'Wow...' Unknown said

'Wow...more like time to panic...' Ax Man replied.

'...' Defalcon pondered



All three of them looked out of the side window of the cargo bay and saw their destination, a large Tower floating on a large platform in the air. There were millions of other cargo ships arriving, each carrying tons of weapons and tons of raw fish, and only a few billion robots too.



'What are we supposed to do?' Ax Man asked Defalcon.

'Nothing yet...' Defalcon replied.

'We wait?' Unknown asked.

'Yeah.'

'For what?'

'For the right moment...'

'How are we gonna stop those robots?' Ax Man asked, 'This is obviously the place where they are going to meet and warp into the past, right?'

'Yes...'

'So what do we do?' Unknown asked.

'We're not in the future...' Defalcon replied.

'What?' Ax Man said

'I will explain, follow me.'

Defalcon went out of the cargo bay towards the rear of the ship, where they would get a better view of the tower. Ax Man and Unknown followed...

'And why the grin?' Unknown asked.

'Because this isn't our world, only another world that Nebula created...' Defalcon then started to laugh.

'What's so funny?' Unknown asked

'Don't you see?' Defalcon said, 'Nebula doesn't control the future, NOBODY CAN! Instead our path was led to a world that Nebula created to impersonate his future, where he is creating all the robots.'

'Of course he can control the future!' Ax Man said, 'If he has control of our present then years later he might still have control...'

'But he doesn't...'

'Why?'

'Because the good guys always win...'

The cargo ship landed safely by the edge of the tower base as many robots in different shapes and sizes came towards it from the ground below. Once the ship had stopped the cargo ramp was released and the stupid cargo robots began to unload the rates to the wheeledcargo carriers below which were like forklift trucks. Once they were full they took the cargo towards the tower.



'So what are you saying?' Ax Man said to Defalcon, 'that this is just another of Nebula's worlds and is trying to fool us?'

'Yup. He cannot predict the future, yet alone create it on Carrotus. Besides the colour of the sky is so different from what it used to be and what it is now on Carrotus.'

'You mean old and new?' Unknown asked.

'Yes. Come on we have to find out what is going on.'

'That's obvious isn't it?' Ax Man said, 'they're bringing these robots towards our present time. It doesn't matter whether they are from the future or not...'

'Yeah but I wanna know where they are transporting and how were gonna destroy it.'

'Look I'm sorry guys but I've had enough of this hiding stuff.' Unknown said, drawing out his blaster, 'I'm gonna kick some as and if you don't like it then...'

'Doesn't matter if you do...' Ax Man said as he stared up at something peculiar.

'Whys that?' Unknown said.

'Because WE'VE ALREADY BEEN SPOTTED!' Ax Man then rolled out the way as a massive robot came crashing down upon them trying to swipe them with its large arm. Defalcon jumped out, drew out his blaster and shot at the robot's stomach. It hit the robot dead centre and causes the robot's body to separate and literally self destruct. Unknown saw another two coming and decided it was best to team up.

'Stay together!' Unknown shouted as he fired at one of the robots approaching. He just managed to get it right in the chest and caused a large explosion that knocked the second robot over to one side. Ax Man took it as his opportunity to fire one of his own bullets. He shot the robot right where he wanted and caused yet another explosion.

Suddenly a loud siren wailed as the three had been spotted on the cargo ship. They decided it was best to.....

'RUN!!!!!!!!' Defalcon shouted as he jumped off the side of the Cargo Ship.

'I think you'll find that's jumping.' Unknown said.

'JUST DO IT!'

'Okay okay i'm not gonna argue,' he replied as he jumped off the ship. Ax Man then followed. They grouped together and began to fire at every robot they could see and find...



Meanwhile...back in the sewer system...

Talec began to speed up on his jetski, catching up with the creations that he was after. As he got close one of the creations took out a large blaster and fired back at him. Talec swerved to one side and dodged the explosion, which slightly pushed him forward as he went past it. Just as Talec was about to fire back with his own blaster he heard some shots being fired at the creations up ahead. One of the creations was knocked off his hovercraft and the other fell forward onto his steering whell and crashed into the side of the pipe. Talec slowed down as he saw who was up ahead.

'Rumbo!' Talec shouted as he jumped off and ran for him.

Rumbo just stood there as Talec ran up to him and gave him a big friendly hug.

(awwwww)

'Hey take it easy,' Rumbo said, blushing a little.

(awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww)

'I'm glad you're still alive my friend,' Talec replied, 'We found this sewer system that leads underground. Back there is a warp drive that leads somewhere. The others have headed that way but I don't know where it leads...'

'The tower.'

'The what?'

'Nebula's Tower. It is his home and where Spaz and Lori have been held. I have sent the resistance there and hopefully they'll do some of the dirty work for us.'

'You mean you left them to fight on their own.'

'TIME prophesised their survival, plus I trust them with my life.'

'You sure have changed, Rumbo.'

'Well that's what dying three times does to you.'

Talec laughed and so did Rumbo, yet they knew that TIME was running out.

'So now what?' Talec asked.

'We head to the tower also.'

'But what about the past and future parties.'

'Past is successful and the future is nonexistant.'

Talec knew what he meant by this, 'You mean we are gonna win?'

'Yeah.'

'And Nebula knows this?'

'But he's trying to change so much that we don't yet he doesn't have the power that we have.'

'What's that?'

'Friendship.'

Talec and Rumbo then shook hands and went to Talec's hovercraft. They turned round and headed for the warp drive.

'But what about the creations?' Talec said.

'Once Nebula is defeated then all will be restored, including them.'

'But haven't their lvies been taken?'

'Yes but once it is over none of this would have happened.'

'Will we remember this?'

'Of course. Like TIME says if it happened to you then it only happened to you.'

'I get you. So we go now?'

'Yes, Talec, we go now...'

The three rabbits in the supposed future of Carrotus ran towards the tower as they realised the odds were against them. As they fired back another three squadrons of robots came from another cargo ship, carrying robots of course.

'We'd better get moving!' Ax Man stated, 'We're not gonna last that long!'

'Lets go!' Unknown said.

As Ax Man and Unknown began to run, Defalcon just stood still, watching the robots approach him.

Ax Man turned and said, 'Hey come on, Defalc we haven't got time!'

'Oh we have TIME alright.' Defalcon said as three robots appraoched him, ready to swipe at him.



-LET BATTLE COMMENCE-

Defalcon Vs Three rather huge robots.



Defalcon rubbed his hands together and created a loud sound coming from them. Hh then separated his hands and revealed a large blue swirling ball, a ball of TIME.

'Eat this!' Defalcon said as he threw the ball at the middle robot, creating a massive TIME warp that sucked all three robots in. The warp then disappeared.

'What the...' Unknown said.

'Hey more are coming!' Ax Man shouted.

Defalcon knew, after seeing about a hundred robots that it was time to move...



The three began to run as the squadrons of robots ran after them. They weren't going to let those pesky rabbits ruin their chances of world domination.

Ax Man was in front and Unknown and Defalcon were at the back.

Suddenly as they ran two robots jumped down upon them, one inbetween Ax Man and Unknown and one in front of Ax Man.

'(/)!' Ax Man shouted.



-LET BATTLE COMMENCE-

Ax Man Vs Robot

The Robot leaned over to him and tried to hit him with its large metallic arm. Ax Man jumped and just managed to dodge it, drawing out his blaster in mid air.

'Eat this you metallic *******!' Ax Man shouted as he fired right at the robots stomach. The robot couldn't resist as his body separated and exploded!

'Oh yeah!' Ax Man said out loud.



-LET BATTLE COMMENCE-

Unknown and Defalcon Vs Robot

'Lets take this sucker!' Unknown said, drawing out a blaster. As he did the robot swiped at him and knocked him backwards, dropping his gun in the process. Defalcon managed to roll to one side and drew out his blaster. By this time the robot wasn't facing Defalcon and was heading for Unknown, meaning he couldn't shoot his middle and destroy it.

Unknown lay there and looked up to see a large robot looking down at him.

'ARRRGGH!' came a loud scream as Ax Man ran at the robot and pounced on it, knocking it to the floor onto one side.

'Get away from the robot, Ax Man!' Defalcon shouted at him.

But he was too late. The robot swerved round and grabbed Ax Man with his claw. But by this time Unknown had reunited with his blaster ad fired right at the robots chest, making it explode and Ax Man to fly from its grasp and into the air. Defalcon ran over and caught Ax Man as he landed.

'My hero!' Ax Man said, pretending to kiss him.

'Shut it!' Defalcon said, almost blushing.

'Keep going!' Unknown shouted, 'They're still on their way.'



The three continued towards the tower in desperate hope of survival.

Ok Im gonna finish off the future lot real quick as I have to finish this...

Sorry if its been lacking ill put in my all now.



Defalcon, Ax Man and Unknown reached the tower and saw a gigantic metal door that appeared to be about 300 feet tall. It glistened in the midnight shimmer that came from a dark and dreary moon that shone above their weary heads. They were scared of what they could face through that door. Maybe thousands upon thousands of robots or even worse Nebula himself. The didn't want to think about it. They just didn't want to know.



'Do we go in?' Ax Man said, panting with worry and exhaustion.

'We must,' Defalcon said, 'destiny lies beyond that door, OUR destiny.'

'Only ours?' Unknown asked.

'No, every rabbit on Carrotus.'

They all became silent as they heard the door loudly creek open, slowly, continuously as if the door was never to fully open in time for them. It was up to Ax Man to push the door open more. Pressing his hand on the door made it glimmer with bright colours, like ripples of water all around his paw print.

'Wait!' Unknown said.

'No, leave him...' Defalcon said, 'he is the first to follow his destiny.'

Defalcon knew what was beyond that gate. what would lie there in wait for them. As the door opened more Defalcon pointed behind them and made Unknown see the reailty of their true situation.

As the robots ran towards them they started to flicker and then freeze in one position, slowly beginning to fade until nothing was left. Once all the robots had been deserted the cargo ship itself and everything on board did the same.

'Whats happening?' Unknown asked.

'Keep watching...' Defalcon said, 'you are beginning to believe.'

'Believe what?'

'The truth of nonexistence...'

'I don't get it...'

Suddenly something wonderful happened. Ax Man opened the door wide enough for them to see directly through to the other side. They saw open fields, hilly terrain, sunshine on trees thats leaves shone green as they gently whisped through the wind. The sky was blue, nothing was wrong, everything was at peace.

'What is this?' Ax Man said, not knowing that everything behind them, the robots, the cargo ship, the ENTIRE WORLD was fading. All that was left was them three standing there, staring at what was beyond that door.

'Defalcon...' Unknown started.

'That is the Carrotus we know...the Old Carrotus that we want. We have to bring this back to the real world.'

'Where are we?' Ax Man asked, 'this isn't the future...?'

'This isn't anything, Ax Man. I understand the prophecy now and Rumbo knows it is true. He knows how to defeat Nebula.'

'Where are we Defalc?' Unknown said desperately.

'We are in the TIME stone. When we sent ourselves to the future, which we designated from where the robots were coming from, I was weary at first of whether there was a Nebula future. If there was then that would mean our failure. But we have no failure. For as long as Old Carrotus exists, we exist. Now we have found it.'

'What do we do now?' Ax Man said, wondering whether to be happy or curious.

'We have to head back...'

'But how?' Unknown asked him.

'I'll show you...' Defalcon said, stepping through the tower into the Old Carrotus world. He could feel the grass patching and winding through his toes and fur. He could smell his home again.

'Follow me,' he said as he stepped in. Once the others were in he told them more about what was happening, 'Nebula hid Old Carrotus in a fictional world to hide us from the truth. He used the TIME stone to create a world within itself to try and confuse us. This is TIME stone's world that we are in. But because it is the TIME stone we can control what we see. I have therefore enabled us all to see our home, which has been buried within the TIME stone. If we lead everyone here we will get back to our own world.

'So you said that Rumbo knows how to defeat Nebula.' Unknown pondered, 'How then?'

'Rumbo knew the prohecy of the TIME stone was true. You cannot change a world, you can merely recreate one from an old world, ie New Carrotus from Old Carrotus. That means that our old world has always existed, we just didn't know where it was.'

'So how is he going to defeat Nebula? Answer the question!' Ax Man said with low tolerance.

'He's going to recreate a world where he can trap Nebula, using the TIME stone and trap him there, like Nebula tried to trap us within New Carrotus.'

'But we found a way out so couldn't Nebula?'

'No, because Rumbo's going to make sure that Nebula ever existed.'
