If you look really closely at the Devan Shell sprite, you will see that it appears to be missing a frame around when he lands from a jump. Under normal circumstances, you can barely notice it, and if you paused the game to take a look, you would see nothing.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or an easter egg, but for some reason a totally unrelated frame is spliced into that spot. In some tilesets (they seem to be ones with modified palletes), instead of getting a blank frame, you get this message.

This image is not edited. That message is not part of the tileset.

That font is also used in Colonius for the text "dizz sux". (Not sure why I said that, but I found it a bit more interesting then saying "oh, cool")

It's actually kind of sad. They have only 256 warps (ok, I don't know if anyone has actually run out, but potentially you can), 32 triggers, 1020 tile tilesets, 64 frame animations and 1 second minimum speed, but they can waste event frames like crazy.

I've always thought this was cool. I did it once, but couldn't replicate the circumstance under which it appeared...still a great easter egg.

That other tileset is "The Void" by Bean, created for a small level called "The Void" where gems and stuff would fall down on a platform.

Odd. The first time I noticed this was on the level Mike posted. I was firing like mad at Devan, and when he landed I noticed in that single frame. Chris is a redneq, after about 20 seconds of trying to pause it on the right frame, I did. :p
