J2O: Jazz 2 Online
JCF: Jazz2 (Or Jazz, Jackrabbit or Jazzjackrabbit) Community Forums
JDC: Jazz Duelist's Challenge
JDCE: Jazz Duelist's Challenge: Elimination
SJ: Stronghold: Jazz
SJ: Spiffyjuice
HH: Haze's Hideout

TSF is The Secret Files, a version of Jazz 2 which is also known as 1.24. And Unknown is right about all but two; DM is Dark Mercenaries and GpW is Gurus of Proactive Warfare.

In other words, SIRAHTSTWAAYSLTHBHEKWHETA.

Stripe is right about how to spell the word abbreviation and you should listen to him because he knows what he is talking about. It's one of those one-time acronyms.

sorry my typing sucks

edit: Jailbreak? Bank Robbery? i never heard of those game modes.

They were invented by Jazzers, so you shouldn't know them. In Bankrobbery, one team tries to guard the coins, while the other tries to take them to get points. I don't remember what Jailbreak is.

HH98: Holiday Hare 98, Christmas version of Jazz2. Released in the US only. Using a (modified?) 1.23 engine.
CC: Christmas Chronicles, Europian version of Holiday Hare, released about 2 years later, and using a modified 1.24 engine. CC is also the abbrevation of the Cracco Clan.

GoD: Gathering of Developers, American publisher.
P2: Project2, Europian and Australian publisher.

Abbreviations are sometimes used for players as well. This might add a bit of confusion, but most of us are just too lazy to type full names. I'll list a few here.

FS: Firesword
DS: Darkshadow
JJT: JJ Tublear
NS: Newspaz
TS: Turtleslayer
ST: Steeltalon
SSJ: Super Saiyan (mind you, i have seen people with SSJ in their name online. they aren't the same person)
UR: Unknown Rabbit
CB: Craccoboy
FQ: Fquist (added by request *hiss*)
MB: <s>Messageboard</s> <s>Megabyte</s> Moonblaze

Most other player name abbreviations still contain enough letters to indentify the person. I probably forgot tons of others, but this list should include the ones you'll encounter most frequently.

No, they are just having fun with abbreviations, none of that stuff was meant to make fun of you.

Like the

SIRAHTSTWAAYSLTHBHEKWHETA

comment. That was just a big abbreviation of a sentance, and wasn't making fun of your typing/spelling skills.

I assumed 'Stil' doesn't require much explanation. It's quite obvious it refers to you.

"Stil" isn't an abbreviation. An abbreviation always consists of the first letters of something - not the first few letters. "Stil" is just a shortened form of your name, although I suppose it is as important to know as the rest. ;-P

There's one other gametype that I feel is good enough to be explained. Well, there are quite a few gametypes that are good enough (*cough* CB's various gametypes */cough*).

Assault: Based off of UT's (which, by the way, stands for Unreal Tournament; UT2K3 stands for Unreal Tournament 2003) Assault mode. One plays Assault in CTF mode. One team (i.e. red) attacks the defending team (i.e. blue)'s base, trying to accomplish some sort of goal. It involves lots of triggers for the red team to unlock various doors and stuff to get further in towards the blue team's goal. If/when the attacking team gets to the blue team's goal, they are enabled to capture the blue flag and bring it back to their own base. This can, but theoretically should not, be done more than once in one game.

Ground Force (Original Name):
The game is set in Treasure mode. Players join and are in a room. The server (PLayer who hosted/started the game) is in another room that contains a crate. When the server decides there is enough people he hits the crate which makes the other players (THe ones stuck in a room) fall (By means of removing the floor). This then warps them into a room. This room has an arena that is (Usually) all destructable (Meaning every tile can be destroyed), well, except for the outer edges. There are usually crates in this arena which let bombs fall from the cieling (Which destroys large portions of the arena). The point is to try to survive, AKA not fall (Or in rare cases, touch the walls). SO you must destroy the arena to make your opponents more likely to fall, while staying above. If you fall you are sent into a boring, blank room, which may or may not just be a cycling tube. If you survive (Are the last one left in the arena) then you win and the level cycles to the next one.

I think that's Survivor, not Ground Force. Same game, though.

<s>URJazz</s> ET created Ground Force, which is the real name. Many packs have used Survivor, though, and the name sort of stuck. The real name, however, is Ground Force.

ERROR! ERROR! ERROR!

ET created Ground Force, not URJazz. Ground Force is the name of the gametype, Survivor is the name of BlurredD's Ground Force level pack, and NOTHING ELSE.

I had an idea where players would be in a level that is only about a screen long in length, and the floor is made of a bridge. Up above MCEs would shoot at large gems and make gems rain down for the players to catch. I was going to make it a waterfall level where gems would come down in the falls. The players would have to catch the gems, because they'd fall through the bridge. Just a twist on Treasure mode. I don't really make levels much and don't know how to make MCEs, so if anyone wants to make this, they can. It would be a shame for a good idea to go to waste.

Hey wait, did anyone explain what an MCE is? I don't remember what it means.

Multpile combo event, because it's made up of a combo of multiple events. ;)
There's also SCE/STE (single combo/type event) which uses one event and a generator. Can't remember who it was 'supposed' to have been discoverred by, but I know for a fact Inf. Spaz and I played around with these long before everyone else started using them. :p

The Coppertop and Sulfur abbreviations would make sense, considering we regularly call them Copper and Sulfur, respectively. Although, I don't believe anyone's ever called Monolith "Lithium."
