Someone once said the Tweedle boss was shaped like a potato, and you could see if you froze it, but if you look really closely when it is thawed, you can see for about 2 milliseconds that it is a witch... you can also see what a Rocket Turtle looks like. This means that if someone were to be able to hack into the graphics file for JJ2, we could take a look at these hidden baddies... :-D

Or we could just check the numerous pictures uploaded of the tweedle boss and but a rocket turtle with area ID and activate boss in your level to see what it looks like.

Look for some older topics, and you'll find some picturs of the Tweedle Boss, it has been posted many times.

Are you aware the Rocket Turtle is a functional boss?

Hmm, I think it's the rocket turtle. It acts like the Tweedle boss and you have to freeze it to view it. Actually, I got the rocket turtle to work once! But once. Hmm.

Nope, never tried to find him. I will, though, now that you mention it. I'll go look at all the hidden ones. What do you think happened to them? Like, maybe Epic thought they didn't belong in the game and cut them out? Similar for the LASER shield, which you can only get by cheating (type jjshield 5 times in single player). I wish there WAS a 1.25 where all those things could be accessed normally in your levels... Hmm...

4 times for Laser Shield, 5 for none at all.

I think they decided those various events weren't worth it and just didn't finish them. Or turned them into tiles, instead, like "Fire".

Well the rocket turtle is acctually a boss , so put him on your levels as a boss. Mind though that he flys to the top of the level after awhile leaving you bossless

Which is why you should put Area IDs all around him, and paticularly thick around his upper left corner. Create a path of Area ID events leading away from this, and he will follow them along until he reaches the end of it, at which point he will stop. It is, of course, best to make him stop somewhere you can't shoot him, so you must defeat him on the way.

If he was slower we would make a boss chase. Like in Sonic Advance 2. Oh well, not exactly, because in SA2 you can run as long as you want because the level is looped, so then if you won't make it to destroy Rocket Turtle he will stop. If we make him stop on other side of wall, we'll have to die on spikes and chase once again, or shoot the unmovable boss calmly. The point is, it would be fun to make a chase like that, but it's almost impossible.

From my past experiments, if you die after activating a Rocket Turtle, any Area IDs it passed over before your death no longer work, so it's kind of all or nothing.

Hmmm what if you made the level loop around?

You can't, he only follows each AreaID once. I made a level with him once, what's strange is that he follows different paths depending on the level dificulty or if you've died yet or not.
