Jazz2online Rules

For more than ten years, this site has been the premier Jazz Jackrabbit 2 community site. We've kept the discussions on our site civilized and the people supportive of each other most of the time.

To help this, we've established a rule set. When using our site, you agree to abide by these rules. Violaters may receive sanctions in the form of a strike out system called warnings. After a certain amount of warnings, usually 3, your account may be suspended for a time. Violations will also be edited or sometimes even deleted. We reserve this right, being the owners of this site, which is private property. We love receiving suggestions and will consider them but in this we don't necessarily owe our site users anything.

The rules

General Rules

  • Users aren't allowed to insult or flame eachother. Doing this will be seen as a personal attack and edited out, most often replaced by (PA).
  • Illegal software like warez (commercial software spread for free) may not be linked to or uploaded at this site. If you are not sure if your activity is legal, contact an administrator. So-called "abandonware" is a myth. No abandonware versions of Jazz Jackrabbit games may be linked to on this site. They are not condoned by the owners of the product and thus not tolerated.
  • No sexually suggestive or explicit material. No nudity, nor direct links to it. This is a site with a large children audience and we don't want them to be in contact with such material.
  • No racism, fascism, sexism, or homophobia.
  • No double accounts - you may not create several accounts for the purpose of changing your name or cheating the Jazz2Online rules by rating your own content using this other account.
  • No impersonisation. You may not impersonate other people.

Downloads Section Rules

These are the rules that are in effect in the downloads section.

  • Only Jazz Jackrabbit-related uploads may be uploaded.
  • You may not upload other people's material under your own name. Please do not upload anything that is not yours generally. This includes the Jazz Jackrabbit 3 demo, Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and the non-shareware version of Jazz Jackrabbit 1.
  • Please do not upload utilities that provide the player with an unfair advantage in online play. No cheating tools are allowed.
  • All material that one uploads may not violate our site rules in any way. Some swearing in an upload may be allowed, but we do not condone warez uploads, or uploads that contain racist/fascist/sexist/homophobe content.
  • When uploading music material, you should either upload remixes of Jazz Jackrabbit songs or songs to come with a very large level pack that do not fit with the pack file. Songs to go with your levels or your own songs should not be uploaded - this is not a music site, but a Jazz Jackrabbit 2 site.
  • Only finished material should be uploaded. Some exceptions are made for demos/betas of certain very large packs, but demos of your own packs/levels and unfinished levels should not be uploaded. If you want people to test your levels or want advice, you should post a post in the JCS forum on our board, asking others to give you comments.
