Actually, the original Eva's more than just a damsel in distress. I mean, look at her. She's been around the proverbial block. I'd say she can hold her own against some Lori (coincidence that lori is much like rori/loli, short for lolita by those with a lolita complex?) type.

I don't know... you've got to remember that in JJ1, she treated her captor with scorn, attempted to escape, fought against the Schwarzenguard, managed to send a warning message to Jazz for Episode 3, and even saved his life at the end of Episode 6. In JJ2, her role was diminished because most of the game didn't take place in a time where she was even alive, but she did send Spaz to rescue Jazz and save the world, which he probably wouldn't have thought of on his own.

Video game characters when female are usually intended to be "nice" looking to the males that play those games. That said, you must consider that both Lori and Eva are both rabbits, and therefore, look... Like female humanoid rabbits. But if you must choose, consider this, one was made as a love interest, the other was made as a teenage love interest.

So, either way, finding one "sexy" as so bluntly stated in this poll is against human nature, end of story.
