One of the main features of Monobot, Monobot ratings allows you to rate items, using either ++ or --. Anything and everything can be rated, including users, people, or whatever you can think of. To rate an item, all you have to do is simply say something beginning with ++ (for an upvote) or -- (for a downvote) and then the item name. To see the rating of a particular item, use the command "monobot rating [item name]" If you wish to upvote/downvote an item and see its rating at the same time, using "monobot ++[item name]" or "monobot --[item name]" If you are using a web-based IRC client, you may find it impossible to upvote things, because the +'s get filtered into spaces, you may need to use "monobot upvote [item name]" or "monobot downvote [item name]". |

There is a web page that details the monobot ratings. That web page is: http://madskills.org/monobot/rating_info.html![]() If you forget that address, maybe you can remember the command: monobot ratings At the bottom of that page, there's a link to another page where you can see collections of all the rated items. The highest/lowest/most/etc rated items are on that page, plus you can do a search for other items that have been rated. |
