Very nice! It looks like the style of Noraa’s 3d battle level tileset!

This 8 is mostly because of the originality.

Well, it’s very small and sparse, so I am hesitent to give it a high rating…

But it’s just so darned original that it deserves something! So the originality alone gets it a 7.0.

The concept is great. You know, if you took this idea a step further, you could really go places with this. Like maybe somehow link rooms together or something.

EDIT – Just how many times am I going to forget to actually select a rating? Anyone want to make a bet?[This review has been edited by Buster]

Hehe! I like this, simply because of the great originality. Finally the ordinary Jazz2 player can get a deep insight into the tidy and most idyllic living room of a proper dutch family. Isn’t it wonderful? The masking of the two tilesets makes sense, but unfortunately the author messed around with the palette in the second tileset (check out the transparant colour!!!). A funny music tune could also add some fun. Everything else is great. Seven points for outstanding creativeness!
My advice as a reviewer: everyone should DOWNLOAD THiS. Really, it’s worth seeing :-)

P.S.:
The author fixed the pallette problem. Good work, Newspaz![This review has been edited by Aiko]

Pretty original but not really levels…
Its original to see jazz walk through an actual livingroom which is – sorry aiko – not really that typical (as far as I know and I AM dutch)..

Nice idea Newspaz, will you post that jazz 1 tileset soon :)?

Hum. I don’t like it as much as the other ppl. Allright, it’s original, but it’s too small to be real playable.[This review has been edited by Fl@$h aka BlewMeUp]

Too small.. and no weapons? Not really playable..

Original idea though. That’s cool..

I thought it was fun when I stood on the light hanging from the ceiling.

Hehehe, amusing concept. You get taken inside a living room. But not just any living room, NewSpaz’s living room. I like use of another concept, but the tileset masking and lack of weapons really took away from this level’s playability.

Overall this gets it’s points for it’s originality, but if you want to battle here I can’t recommend it.

This is a very origenal and creative upload. It features 2 levels, showing Newspaz’s living room and his dining room. They dont feature any wepaens or other events, but hats good. Weapens and stuff like that would take the feel of it away. The best part here is the masking. It realt gives a great 3D, “real world” feel. Get this. Now.

“But hats good” ;-P

I like the idea of featuring real rooms as levels, and this is done quite well. It’s almost like a combonation of Radium’s Kitchen Sink tileset and Noraa’s series of 3D Battle tilesets. Though only one level is possible out of this, and it likely required less effort to make than a full-fledged tileset, this is still great, and should be downloaded immediately.
