Description
A simple level i made with my new (kinda sucky i think) tileset; “Zybug”“. The zip includes the remapped version and no-remapped version of the tileset. I prefer the non-remapped.

The tileset`s wasen`t Very good
it hasn`t much stuff in it
and now The lvl
i didn`t like the level
The design layout was much below average
Eyecandy was poor
and the color`s was horible
the normal lvl color was much beter
maybe jou can upload the lvl in normal colors and get a higher rating

Whoo. Kinda weird (and indeed, sucky) tilesets. The Funky version is too sucky to rview, so i’ll review the normal version whos better. Well. There are not much (NO) usefull tiles. The tileset includes only 5 wall blocks, some weird blocks, some number blocks, some piramids, and some shoot-and-buttstomp-blocks. The tilesets are way too small. You het a 2.0 for thiz, Gargoyle, and I think you better can create LEVELS, not tilesets.

This level had no eyecandy absolutly none!I liked the colors of the tileset though…I guess that is because i like funky stuff.=)No offense but with the color the text was kinda hard to read.My final conclusion,The level sucks.but the tileset is ok.

First at all: Zieg, there’s always eyecandy!(you make the same mistake as me)
The tileset:
~it’s not a temple tileset.
~very bad tiles.
~there aren’t good tiles for a background or something.
Very BAD! :(
The level:
~Bad eyecandy.
~it isn’t like a temple.
~Bad background
~etc.
~etc.
~etc.
~etc.
All those rookie-levels! everybody think they can make levels. But it’s not so easy!
Here you have 1.5 point from me. no download recommendation from me.

1) If your not going to remap the tileset pallette then make it something neet (I’m making Jazz 1898, an old fashion tileset).
2)When will you learn that power-ups must not lie all over the level and be things that you up-cut to get ammo, if your so despirate to put power-ups in every corner then get rid of the ammo.
3) All your levels are so tiny (and so are there rating ;) make a big level, this level looks like it was made in 10 minits maximum 15.
And it’s not got anything to do with a temple or else call me Blindy-Billy-Bench-Eater.

This pack includes two versions of the “Zybug” tileset. It has about 85 actual tiles (some boring square blocks) and a pyramid structure with many useless tile duplications. “Zybug” is a good example of an un-optimized tileset: there is a lot of unused empty space and the duplications doesn’t make sense. There are also some digits (0-9) and some copied stuff from JJ2 (exit sign, poles, blocks). The “Funky Colours” version of the tileset (with the default sprite colours of J2 overwritten), that is also used in the small example level, looks just silly, sorry.
Conclusion: this tileset could need some improvement :-)

its a very small tileset
stuff in it looks horrible..one color (well actually 2- blue and purple)- nuffin like neat poles, vines, tubes, flowers (well..flowers in this kind of tileset, although i dont know what it is), anything.
very bad..anyone could have done this..

You can hardly make any levels with this useless tileset.
If I could rate any lower than a 1 I would give you a -3

Ok, I (odviously) have different likes and dislikes on tilesets than you all do.
The tileset looks cool, The level is… well… Funky! ;)
That’s all i have to say.
