Well, if we could kill the monster, we could put all the Leetzan pieces back together and Raise her. If she got eaten, then we'd also have to slit open the monster's stomach and hope she isn't digested yet.

...I just read that post, and after about seven words it got kind of gross.

If the monster is in the abyss, how do you propose to get the bits of L33tz4n back when you kill it? Rapple down the pit? You don't know how deep it is (and neither, when it comes to that, do I).

Well, do you suggest we just go on without her? I recommend either somehow getting her back or killing ourselves and restarting from Birdclaw Mansion.

"Hey, Uberbob," I asked, my voice shaking a little, "do you still have that rope?" I kept telling myself that I was going to try to repell down the chasm - pushing other ideas regarding the rope out of my mind. If I repelled down, maybe I could help Leetzan...
"Why, YES!" Uberbob piped up cheerfully, pulling the bundle of rope out of his pocket, "Why? Did you find an ADVENTURE?"
"Er, yeah," I said, "come with me. Back to where Leetzan is." I lead him away from the rest of the party and to the north. There was still purple blood on the wall, but he didn't notice. "Hold this," I told him, "I'm going to try and repel down. Hold it tight."
As I fell I began to wonder how I thought one person holding a rope while standing on an icy bridge could support my weight.

Well, I think I might have a couple of ideas on this puzzle.

1. Look at the carving through the Gem Thing.

2. Push the crystals into the corners of the rooms (and align them in some way), but before doing that, spinning them so that their faces face left. Also place the Gem Thing in one one of the corners to replace the missing fourth crystal in the SE room.
