Am I allowed to put this in my signature? Just getting ready for the holiday season, that's all.

...P.S. If I have any long posts I will uncheck 'Show Your Signature'.

You should be unchecking it in case of short posts, really.

No it doesn't. The 512 character limit doesn't ignore HTML. Can anything be done about that? Could the limits be extended overall? The image size limits seem reasonable but even 1024 characters is quite a tight limitation if one wants to do something cool with HTML.

I think signatures are big enough as they are, I don't feel like making it possible to make them larger/more elaborate would really be an improvement.

Hm, you raise a valid point and your arguments are irrefutable. Given your experience in the field and ability to foresee potential further consequences of such a change, I feel obliged to trust your intuition.

That's what I did too. I agreed with Stijn because his post convinced me. That's what my post says. Judging by your responses it sounds sarcastic, in case of which consider it double sarcasm. I must be bad at changing tone of voice over the Internet.

Yeah, that tends to happen...
To be clear, my agreement with Stijn was serious. The image in the quote, and the text before it, were sarcastic.

Can I ask why you're posting about this in the signatures thread? Half of what you're talking about already have threads about them.

As for Xmas JJ2 being short, budget most likely.
