OpenJazz logo contest

OpenJazz needs a logo. OpenJazz has a logo, but some people don't like the way it fits into the game.

So, the logo is now subject to a contest. The rules:
  • It must have reasonable dimensions (roughly those of the current logo)
  • It must reduce well to this palette
  • The background must be the same colour as the main menu background in OpenJazz. Ideally, you should be able to change the background colour (for the website, e.g.)

My own entry is the current logo:

It looks kind of like Jazz from above, it's simple, and has a slight retro feel to it.

Feel free to base your logo on this one, or to deviate wildly from it.

My entry (which I'll have to re-do according to the contest's rules because I finished before this thread was created ):

Can I get the exact palette in .pal or .act format? And if you can't do that, a GIF using that palette?

Part of me wants to draw a little picture of Jazz all surgically opened and half-dissected, but it would take a lot of effort and probably not win so much as scare people.

The edges on the J are a bit jagged. For the rest it's nice (photoshop layer effects?)

But the one thing about it is that there shouldn't be a JJ2 Jazz.

If I were you, I'd replace the third frame by some in-game jazz picture, it would be great!

I've re-done my logo so that it has been reduced to the pallete and can be used in-game

The one that Toxic Bunny / Al posted can be used on the website
