'M too sick to think right now (colds... curse them!), but I just want to say that she doesn't look like a food fanatic =P.

Just out of curiosity, when you named Toca, did you know Toca is the he/she/it form of the Spanish verb "Tocar", meaning "to play [a musical instrument]"? "Toca toca" would translate to "Toca plays an instrument". 'Course, if someone didn't know the first Toca was a name they would think you were saying "it plays it plays". This paragraph uses Toca eight times. Tocaful.

Nope. Actually I got the name from a Techno song "Toca's Miricle".
Later, a friend told me that toca means "touch" in spanish. So I thought that her name meant "touch" after that. But you say it means "to play" or well, I mean, tocar means "to play" so its like... "plays a musical instrument". o.O 'kay. I always thought a good musical instrament to relate her to is a woodwhind of some sort... But thats because of the tribal background I originally thought up for her origin. Hmm, but I dunno. I wonder what kind of instrument she would play. Hmm... |

Okay, I checked several books and sources. Tocar- to touch, to play an instrument, or to ring a bell. Those crazy Spaniards.

Reminds you of where you grew up? Did you like to throw rocks into the white space?
Nice coloring. I would say she shouldn't be able to bend her legs like that, but I saw this yoga guy a while back...

Oy! Sorry, my mistake. I think it was probably something about the eyes that threw me.
Heh, bit of accidental criticism there I guess... reminds me of the classic old Teacher: "nice drawing of a dog!", Student: "It's a dolphin".

Hmm, japanese art has some characters that look totaly not like a man but are a man...
Yeah, but Japanese makes little sense anyways, so its like, "Whats up with that" and the answer is like, "oh, that? its japanese." and that answer suffices. ![]() Don't try to understand stuff from Japan.. just smile and nod. |
