What should be the best improvements for a JJGBA 2?
Hi, like i say, what should be the best improvements for a Jazz Jackrabbit GBA 2?
I think it must have many more levels, more gameplay, and the ORIGINAL character looks!! ![]()

Jazz's future should not be on GBA. GBA has far less opportunites and lacks the technical gimicky abilities of the PC and consoles.

I didn't mind the new look for the GBA, but I would like more characters to play as (like that professor dude in the first GBA game),more levels, more gameplay, and a better back of the game box I qoute "...as fantastic characters like Zoe Cottontail, Professor Lapin,Spaz and more unite thier powers to help Jazz kick some intergalactic butt."
What powers??? Is that the reason the game is so short? these NPCs have decided to do tons of levels for you which you ever see? Those questions have burned my mind for a long time |

Here are the three main problems with JJA as I see them:
Jazz can't run. Jazz is the only playable character. The game is really pretty short. Get rid of those and the game will be just fine. |

Don't make another GBA game, or give up the source code for JJ2, lol or start making JJ3.

Pff... I bet that Jazz from JJ1 or JJ2 can kick GBA Jazz's butt. GBA Jazz is slowed down by his pants (that's why he can't run), he is also slowed down when using heavier weapons and due to the limited resolution of the GBA the original Jazz can see GBA Jazz first and shoot at him from a distance (except perhaps JJ1 Jazz because he can only see in 320x200
![]() GBA Jazz2 should use Agama's tilesets ![]() There should be ambient lightning, real weather effects and some 3D graphics in a 2D environment. Maybe the game should be on Nokia's n-gage because n-gage supports 3D-ish graphics. I don't know whether n-gage is good or not, however. There must, there absolutely must be bigger lvls and more variety in them as well as more special moves and weapons (if Eva is available, you should be able to temporarily blind enemies using her giant diamond ring! ![]() The creators of the original GBA Jazz has obvsiouly neglected the real Jazz fans (us) and gone for the younger audience, possibly to make money since there really aren't many die-hard Jazz fans outside J2o's and the JCF's sphere of protection. ![]() ![]() Lastly, there should be more speech, more intelligent puzzles and more interaction between the player and NPCs. Way more. I wouldn't go as far as turn the game into an RPG but a platform game/adventure game with RPG elements would be pretty nice. I've run out of ideas, but if all of the ideas above are used then GBA Jazz2 would definitely be awesome!!!!! ![]() |

I disagree. I liked having the Chameleons and Saurians in the game a lot. It added more variety, especially after the rather dull opponents in JJ2. If would be great if we could keep the bizarre assortment of enemies from JJ1, but with the interaction and backstory of JJA.

I haven't ever had the chance of playing JJ1 (I can't find it for sale anywhere
![]() I also think that JJ2's enemies (but I only think so because I've never played JJ1) were quite original and ground-breaking and the only reason they got boring is because the game has been played for 6 years now. If those non-turtle lizards is going to be kept in JazzA 2, then there should be a link between them and the turtles, or we'll find ourselves fighting completely new enemies without a clue to what actually happened with the turtles (we only saw the defeat of Devan, NOT the turtle race in JJ2). Also, maybe, just maybe, they could give Spaz or Lori their own personal adventure without any green hared intervention? ![]() |

JJ1
JJ1 had lots of weird enemies, like enormous owls that bounced you off platforms instead of hurting you, enormous turtle shaped tanks, blue carts which rolled back and forth firing blaster bullets into the sky, flying machines which fired RF Missiles at you, living fireballs jumping out of the lava, gun happy turtles riding back and forth on top of airboards, and lots more. JJ2 had a few nice ideas, like Tube Turtles and the Witch, but for the most part it just used simple animals. |

First, I'd like Jazz's sprite completely redone. Maybe not to his original form but for crying out loud, give the sprite some PERSONALITY! A FACIAL expression at least! Oh well, at least he looks good in the cutscenes.
Second, although the Saurians and Chameleons (weren't there chameleons in JJ1? Giant generic green lizard, anyway.) were good for variety, (besides turtles, what did JJ2 have? Lab rats, dogs, bats, ravens....yawn. Seen it all before) I'd like to see more turtles besides Stormtroopers, like all the varieties in JJ1. (Doofusguards and Schwarzenguards>>>>>>Stormtroopers) Thirdly, give Jazz his run back. 'Nuff said. Fourth, I'd like better levels. The levels in JJA were somewhat repetitive: find switch and/or key, kill enemy, open door, repeat. Also, except for the robot level (whose name escapes me), the levels were fairly generic: futuristic city, seen it. Ice level, seen it. (Granted, JJ2 had an ice level, but JJ2 is the only game whose ice level I've seen as Hell frozen over. That was honestly a creative idea) Castle level, seen it. I miss the quirky environments of JJ1: Fanolint, Orbitus, Letni, etc. I'd also like non-linear levels like the old games. Last, more bosses. JJA only had what, five? Six? I liked how some bosses had to be beaten in ways besides "reduce life meter to zero", though.

JJ2's only indestructible boss is the Queen.
As I said in my longer post above, JJA is missing out on a lot of stuff they could've gotten from us. Btw, in in JJ2 Jazz can shoot in 5 directions with pepper spray and in 7 directions under water with all weapons except toasters and TNT and maybe RFs, I'm not sure. Btw, does JJA have any water lvls? Or any airboard lvls? But if Jazz can't run on land, he's going to be sluggishly slow in water! ![]() |

JJA has no water levels and no airboard levels. Heck, not even the sewer level has water in it. Just lava. What the heck is lava doing in a SEWER?!

I was wondering about that, too. My theory is that JJA doesn't support blue. I mean, even Jazz's gun turned gray.

I believe the sky is blue in some levels, and there are some blue-skinned Stormtrooper turtles. But I don't think Game Titan likes the colour much.

Gametitan must be angry at us for critizising their game so much! Lol.

Supposedly. There's also a Don't press this! button on his suit. It reminds me of the Self-destruct button on JJ2's install menu.
