JJ1 planets
I'd like to know some information about the planets of the JJ1 episodes that weren't part of the main storyline of 6 episodes.
I'd like to know: 1. The planets' names and descriptions for them 2. Any links to JJ1 conversion tilesets. 3. The names and descriptions of the enemies found on those planets. Ppl who provide me help will be rewarded by a special surprise. ![]() |

EXOTICUS
A tropical planet with lots of castle structures and green slime in the cave systems. Enemies are ravens and turtles who fly around on some sort of hoverboard. INDUSTRIUS A big factory like area, located in a large city, with lots of advertisements for various Epic things. The enemies are turtles in really big and strong tank things. MUCKAMOK A generic swamp planet with green slime and whatnot. Enemies are wild green frog creatures who dance back and forth, and the boss Zoonik the Hedgehog, who can teleport and has a gun and stuff. RANEFORUS A series of rocky platforms floating in the air above a vast ocean, home to many bushes, cacti, trees and other forms of plant life. Enemies are little brown monkeys and some giant white owls who don't pay attention to you and can't hurt you. STONAR An ordinary grassland planet with lots of stately castles constructed from enormous brown blocks, and some skeletons and stuff. Enemies are red versions of the Armor-Doofi from Battleships, except they take fewer hits to destroy, and the grasping hands from Holidaius. DECKSTAR A parody of the Death Star, set on what appears to be a moon, with blue walls and pink pipes and stuff like that. Enemies are enormous turtles with big guns, and the sparks from Tubelectric. CERAMICUS Kind of hard to understand or explain, just look at the conversion and figure it out for yourself. Enemies are giant turtles who jump around with their eyes closed. DESERTO A desert planet with many ruined temple things and several waterfalls for no apparent reason. Enemies are green lizards (similar to those in JJ2 but a different color) and some devil creatures which stand around and breathe fireballs at you. LAGUNICUS A beachish planet with starfish and abandoned peer structures and lots of water and not much else. Enemies are fish, which swim back and forth, octopi, which swim back and forth, and another form of octopi which rise and lower themselves in the water to keep up with your y position. There's no point in listing Holidaius, Candion and Bloxonius as they're freeware and you already have them as a direct result. |

Just for your information, Holidaius *has* got a secret level unlike Sonyk says.

Sonyk and Violet can choose between these three prices:
1. Expect a package of goodies worth $500 to arrive in their letterbox within the next three centuries. OR: 2. Be ridiculed and made fun of in my story: http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showthread.php?t=12581 OR: 3. Feel smug and get that warm feeling deep inside their chests for doing me a favour. |

But Sonyk's is so gleefully inaccurate

I pick 2 because I have no interest in weird canadian spellings of common words.

May I ask what you need that info for?

I needed information about JJ1 planets because I want to use them in my story. I also needed more 'ppl on the street' characters. Therefore, I think it's most sensible to start a thread asking for info and making the "prize" a chance to be in my story.
![]() @Violet: Are those supposed to be JJ1 planets or just random spheres? |
Mar 28, 2005, 06:35 AM | |
Yes, these sphere are the planets as they appear on the "Now approaching" screen. From left to right they are:
- Top row: Exoticus (Jungrock), Industrius, Muckamuk - Middle row: Raneforus, Stonar, Deckstar - Bottom row: Ceramicus, Deserto, Lagunicus Holidaius, Candion and Bloxonius all use Nippius' planet image. - JelZe GoldRabbit =:3 |

Thanks. ;D You can choose between the 3 previously mentioned prizes too.
![]() ![]() EDIT: No more prizes left! ![]() |

I'll take option 3: Feel smug and get that warm feeling deep inside my chest for doing you a favour.

I can't remember the name of the program Violet posted in a thread once. Just take screenshots. ;P

Wombat Game Tools. (Course, I already have all the planets saved to disk.)
No, F12 is JJ2. JJ1 used Backspace+F2, but that only works for normal levels. |

Ah WGT; soon its expected to be able to extract .osc files and sprites. Keep an eye on it: http://p072.ezboard.com/fpubliccomma...tart=1&stop=20
And because I'm board: Exoticus A tropical planet with an extremely hmid enviroment, little grows here except slime, it covers the ground and pollutes the water. Although the turtles have attempted some rather primitive building, most structures simply sink into the ground. Industrious Used for centuries as the mass production center of the galaxy, the entire planet was recently bought by interplanetary megacorporation Epic Megagames, who have set about using it to make everything from Epic cereal to Epic sweatsocks. Muckamok Simalar to Exoticus but less pleasant, Muckamok has been used to dump organic waste for years. Covered with toxic sludge and a choking atmosphere, Muckamok is indeed earthlike. The entire local area is rumoured to be under the contol of bounty hunter Zoonik. Raneforus The twin planet to Jungrock, Raneforus is covered with various forms of vigorus vegetation and inhabited by vicious wildlife. Stonar An arid planet long held by the turtles, who have constructed many stately castles on it, many of which were abandoned due to the war and have become overun with the local fauna. Home planet of the ArmourDoofi. Deckstar A planet serverly damaged by a direct battle between the Rabbits and Turtles on its surface. [Which the Turtles won] Now occupied by the turtles and almost completely converted into builings. Used to create the twin mega battleships. Ceramicus The pottery center of the galaxy, the entire planet was fried by its sun some time in the past. With some of the biggest ceramics factories in the galaxy, which have been abandoned after Devan used the planet to house the failed clones from his Gene machine. Deserto Once home to a primitive civilization whose bad agricultural practices turned the entire planet into a desert. Now all that remains are a few ruined buildings. Water still flows however, and many underground waterfalls have been reported. Lagunicus Unlike most water planets which fail to produce life, Lagunicus has developed an extensive aquatic ecosystem, due to the enitre surface being on average only 24 feet below water. Devan is using it to research underwater assualt vehicles. Holidaius A snow covered planet Devan uses to store all the candy he stole while in charge of half the galaxy. Different enemies will attack you at different times of day. [or night] Candion The only planet in the galaxy to have a core of compressed caramel and mint icing snow, Candion consists almost entirely of candy. Also, it is so far away from any stars, including its own sun, that it is always night and only its sun is visible as an unusually bright star. Bloxonius After discovering interplanetary travel Lego fans collected several million sets and constructed an entire planet from the blocks. Once used to manufacture and distribute christmas gifts, it was abandoned after several Epic Megatoyz malfunctioed and took over.
