Jazz JackRabbit Advanced?

I have bought JJA a year back now, and I finished it within a few days in super-whatsit-hard... It was no challenge at all, I hate it that you can't buttstomp, and I HATE Jazz's new clothing... The whole money-buy-your-weapons-concept is cool, though. (Exept for the limited different weapons...)

I just wondered what you think about it.

I finished a few days after I got it, but I only played it in short bursts that first time. I don't mind Jazz's new clothing since I belive JJA is an alternate universe accidently created while Jazz and Spaz were chasing Devan through time in JJ2. After our heroes stopped Devan, the alternate universe of JJA split apart from the normal universe and became independant. The alternate universe was created to fill in the fact that Jazz,Spaz, and Devan were missing in the normal time stream.

And that ends my crackpot theory.

I've beaten it a few times on the various difficulties. It's quite enjoyable.

...your signature is way too tall, by the way.

The story screwed up the entire continuity and un-cooled Spaz, and the game was too short. I never buttstomp anyway, so I didn't think that was much of a problem.

Finished it few times with various difficulties, with or without cash cheats. Recently I played it again and found a place in Chameleon World I never knew of before.

I bought it and I've beaten it twice. It's not a very long or difficult, so I can clock it in a few hours. About the other things I voted for, I really miss the buttstomp. It was a great way of attacking enemies and excelled for blocking shots. Not being able to stomp is, for me at least, a considerable handicap. Jazz's new outfit...well, I don't hate it with a passion as I once did, but I still don't like it, either. Changing the antagonist from Devan to Dark Shell was really pointless since they're basically the same and establishing two characters who are practically identical (except Dark apparently is a convention-going Star Wars fan, whereas Devan is not) just confuses matters. As for the story, the actual story the game tells isn't bad and is told well, I dislike it because of the unpleasant changes to the Jazz universe the story ushered in. And being allowed to only play as Jazz hurts replay value and makes the game seem even more like a regression from JJ2 than it already is. I don't like that.
Okay, I'm rambling now, so...whatever.

True, but I'm not in the mood to go through the whole game on 'n00b's challenge' all over again. To artificially make the game harder and last one extra hour I strip myself of all lives until the last planet so I have a good chance of beating Dark Shell,

The first endboss, The Chameleon King is simple to beat, really. He follows a certain attacking pattern. He walks, then runs towards you. Jump over him and he will get stuck in the wall. Attack him and run away when he gets himself out of the wall.

The game is just called Jazz Jackrabbit, but we call it "Advance" to distinguish it from the original Jazz game which was also called Jazz Jackrabbit.
