No, www.jazzjackrabbit.com (without the "2")was the official site, known as the Daily Carrot. It originally had content of the first Jazz Jackrabbit, and then shifted to Jazz Jackrabbit 2. The site was brought down over a year ago I think.

IMO, the best JJ2 site ever on the net. It was so attractive looking, and addictive.

Daily Carrot had a fair bit of information regarding the actual plans for JJ2, which is something that non-official sites would have a harder time providing. It was shut down somewhere around May or June 2003.
