I have an idea, re-install Jazz, is it Warez? then re-download it. Backup your levels, sets and voila!
Btw, is it just me or on all 3 forums I visit I see (not so much on this one though) all these newbie topics 'plzzzzzz help me!!!!!!!!!' or ' Newbies, stop trying to mod, hack, cheat, edit and play by the rules. I can do what you did and Jazz.exe or whatever wont go away for me so there's another element involved: mayby you tryed to Hex edit Jazz.exe or somthing? _________________ - ![]() Someones eating behind you! |

This seems kind of weird...
Where did your JJ2 files on your computer go? Files don't magically "disappear". Maybe you forgot where they are...try windows find. Check the recycle bin. Etc... But if your hard drive and CD drive both crashed at the same time, making the files disappear on the computer, and making you unable to restore from the CD, I think you should get a new computer ![]() |

I tried having it fixed, I tried searching, but I've accomplished *censored*!
I think that unless I can copy EVERY SINGLE FILE from my upstairs computer(Jazz2 is on there too), I'm doomed. And I copied the english file, but what if the 1.23 patch doesn't run? I won't be able to play... |

If Jazz is on your other computer, why can't you copy just jj2? You don't need to copy the whole hard drive...just copy the jj2 folder. If you have pcAnywhere, you can connect with a serial or parallel cable and copy it like that, otherwise you can copy it to a tape drive, or a zip disk, or put it in a zip file and use the disk spanning thing to zip it onto multiple disks.
Or as a last resort...take out the hard drive from your computer with jj2, hook it up to the computer you want jj2 on, and copy like that. |

Almost nobody uses tape drives any more. Plus, the only person I know with one is me.

1.The upstairs computer has NO INTERNET CONNECTION
2.I was talking about the Jazz 2 folder, but I only have those small floppy disks that don't hold much on them. It sucks! |

I had to copy my entire JJ1 to my other computer on floppy disks, before I had my network, before I knew how to use my tape drive, before I had Winzip, and before I had pcAnywhere...and I only had 3 floppy disks
I'm not saying it is easy, but you should be able to do it in an hour if you work quickly. |

Anybody know if a place like Best Buy sells those 120 meg floppies I've heard about? I can't hook up the Zip Drive, so these seem better.

Hehehe...first of all...get Wingate it really helps cuz u can splice net connection with no slowdown. Second of all a network (or at least mine) allows me to run certain progams (jazz2 being one of them) off of my PC usin my dad's net connection with no visable slowdown, plus it creates it's own set of registry entries in my PC...all you have to do is create a shortcut from your other PC and u should even be able to use netplay...wingate is not illegal and i AM free to distribute it...

You could move one computer to the other and set up a 2 computer network using a parellel port (printer port generally).
