TSF Online Problems

Hi, i recently bought TSF and i have this problem on internet play on party mode.

I searched the forums for an answer and downloaded the requirements but it wont work.

The problem is when i go on internet play, the games show up gray and wont let me join them. It basically disables all games on the list .

Thanks in advanced.

Actually, Jindo, you CAN join online games (I've even seen you online... ), but only those of the same version as you. Many games are greyed out because their hosts are running 1.23, while you have 1.24. Unfortunately, the majority of games are hosted with 1.23, so it's best if you install 1.23 and TSF (1.24) separately (if you bought TSF, you should receive a free copy of JJ2 1.21, which can then be upgraded with a patch to 1.23).

Unless it's a Polish version.

I didn't know that buying TSF gets you a free 1.21

Actually it's 1.20. In the initial European release, TSF came with the retail version of JJ2 for free.

It doesnt, i got 1.20 ages ago in 1998, i few weeks ago i dug the game out and wondered why the online thing would work.

I found this site and upgraded it to 1.23.

When i realised 1.24 was already out i tried to find that.

I never got the old game free with TSF (that would be cool though !)

That's because TSF was released in 1999.
