C: Make sure your bmp isn't 16 bit. J2Ts must be 8 bit.

And don't mess up the stuff, because your fur, tileset and all goodies in your level will become an awful colour.

Unless you use remap palette (ick) or make your own palette.
Of course, using remap palette can be useful if you don't use more than.. um.. I forget how many.. 100-some colours. Or if you follow some tutorial I made, but never really "finished". (There's another section I need to do in it. :/) Also make sure the image is 320 pixels wide, but that probably isn't the case. |

Its hard to do things in low amounts of color well but it can be done. I mean JJ2 has all animations and main events in about 90 colors.
Or look at old nintendo games they had 16 colors max I believe. |
