J2MC Season 2 Details
* Because of lack of motivation, I decided to cancel the loser bracket. The grand-final between LB and BFRE will be played next weekend.
However, I have some news related the next edition of J2MC. It'll be a dueling tournament which will use completely new three-five levels that were especially designed for competitive playing. A contest might be held as well. As it seems now, the tournament will begin in July. Stay tuned ![]() |

I blame the poor lineup that seemed stacked against lots of people.
I mean, you should've known it'd be near impossible to get two europeans, one australian, and one american to be on for a duel at the same time. In fact the only bad part was the poor organizing, which lead to unmotivated players, and forfeits. |

I don't believe Epic came even close to making 1,000,000$ off JJ2, so it doesn't seem so likely that they'll feel like making a tournament with any prizes at all. Besides, they'd claim that people don't finish their matches, and they'd probably be right, since every time someone here tries to organize a tournament, some people who have to leave in the middle of it because of holidays keep signing up (for the record, I'm not referring to anyone in particular, I just noticed that kind of thing seems to happen a lot). That, and people seem to be blissfully unaware of the existance of e-mail, and claim that they can only play if all four players randomly get online on an instant message client at the same moment.

Maybe so, but one can hardly pass up any possible opportunities to crush other peoples dreams.
On topic: nice idea and good luck. I'm not signing up though, since I'm not quite sure if I'll have enough time to join in.

I think that a 2v2's LADDER would be much easier to organize. However, I am not sure if a ladder could be more interesting than a double elimination system ;P In fact, I doubt it could
![]() What a pity that JJ2 doesn't have a ClanBase ladder...=P

So... J2MC is also turning into a Duellist Tournament? I think it would be wiser to join forces and merge J2MC and JJ2WC into one tournament, in that case. Having two seperate tournaments like this will only cause more problems.
