Plz heed these words i say... OK... first off... i like writing rather long parts for the Wartavern post, LONG parts... but... i sometimes get interupted and have to eat, and then come back... so, i finish up the story, and BEFORE i remember to copy it, i press submit... I WAS logged in, as far as it showed before i clicked submit... but then, it's all yellow instead of blue now, and it says to enter my name and password. Horror suddenly strikes, and then i press the Back button... my few hours of work and brainstorming, GONE, only left with the default yellow backround, and a blank text box...

PLEASE... I ASK VERY NICELY EVEN I'M RATHER VERY MAD RIGHT NOW SINCE THIS TYPE OF THING HAS HAPPENED TO ME FOR ABOUT THE 20th TIME!



EXTEND THE IDLE PERIOD! MAKE IT SO THAT IF I SEEM IDLE, IT'D HAVE TO WAIT 10+ HOURS TO COUNT ME IDLE(which is more than enough time, even if i have to drive into town)!

Pizza, do u think i could remember EVERY time to copy and paste? especially after u finally finish it and it's like... need... to... post... cause ur so tired of writing it. ya, u could do a cookie, that'd work too... it just kinda makes me mad when i spend a lot of time on parts and then they go PooF!. or... maybe u can make an option in the preferences where it only logs off When u exit the site, or u get disconnected from the internet. that'd be better...

er... I'm not sure ur in the pososition to DEMAND, GenEX anyhow, they're trying thier best (or so we hope).

Or perhaps a better idea: Write the story in Notepad. Then copy and paste it into the post. Simple.

I'm working on it, but in the meantime I added something: if you get a error message after trying to post something, it displays the message you were typing in a additional textbox

I finally found the things. The previous time I changed another setting(pretty weird, they have 2 settings about this). This time I finally found the other setting in the code.



Sessions now last for 10 days. It's up to you to test.
