I was thinking about this, and now I come to you. I want to host a dedicated server, but since I can't host normally it's on Hamachi. Does anyone think this is a good idea? There probably will come an site too, and seeing as my summervacation is almost starting, this seems like a good time. If you do want it, tell me what levels you'd like to see and I'll see what I can do.

Good idea, I could join it too then I guess (my only means of joining servers is Hamachi too).

And I can't join when using Hamachi. It just doesn't work for me. So I'd prefer a CTF server that's hosted by someone that doesn't need to use Hamachi.

hamachi is stupid

Please note that if for example Monolith installs hamachi people will still be able to join from the internet, like normally. It's very annoying to hear noobs say "don't host with hamachi plz" to me when I am about to host a 3v3 or so :P

And also I automatically can't host normally, only Hamachi ;P Even with Hamachi on and hosted on listservers, Hamachi people can't join either.

Turn on Hamachi, join a channel, then go to party, and the TCP one and you join a server. It isn't online yet though.

And stop complaining about Hamachi.

Only if it is Carpfish patched.

Get Codename:Blubberfish, run JJ2, then open Blubberfish and hit the button that says "Patch memory" under "Carpfish hack" then close blubberfish but NOT JJ2.

You'll be good to go.

Well, I think Hamachi isn't stupid... It's a program to do things on various computer as if the were in LAN... I think it's better to play JJ2 online with the normal game .

Keep in mind that there's a limit of people allowed in one Hamachi network. You'll need several networks in this case.

That's why we have 4 networks now :P I think 2 servers would be enough though, since not a lot people play with Hamachi.

Server running, but not for weeks or so. Just whenever people aer online on Hamachi.

Also, I'm thinking about quitting this one when the CTF Server on the listservers is complete.

Well whoever hosts this server should make it over both hamachi and the internet.
