What would happen if...?
Say i found a full version release of jj2 and put it one my website...what would happen? Do i get banned? Reported to Verizon? Sued by Epic?

As long as you don't talk about it on JCF, people probably won't mind. As I recall I once had a link to TSF warez on my own website and nobody complained. And epic probably don't care either. It's not like they can do anything about it as there are multiple websites offering jj2 for free already (if you know where to look).

If Epic find out, and decide to do so, they can probably get your site taken down. It's unlikely that they'll go further, though there's scope for them suing you if they wanted to do so.
If you post the link here, you'll get modded very quickly, and probably warned if not banned. The mods are rather trigger-happy over warez, as it's one of the things explicitly banned in the host's terms and conditions. |

And it looks very impressive when they mod those links, its like the ultimate in admin authority.

Would the OEM version be illegal to host on a site?

Actually, I think you can sell it on to someone else. I think it's to stop people buying the bundles and making a profit out of them by selling the items individually. (Warning: I am not a lawyer)
Certainly there's nothing to stop you transferring all rights and ownership to another person, and then that other person giving you £10 for no particular reason. |

On paper, it's easy to say "You'd get sued and rot in a federal prison."
However, in all reality, odds are you'd suffer no punishment other than possibly a bit of guilt. Seriously though, it's illegal until Epic says otherwise. Don't do it. |
