Oh well. I'd like to tell you all what I want to see in 1.25 (if the source code comes out, 0'course).



Jazz:

1. TeamBattle FULLY supported (A whole new player mode, I mean)

2. TSF can join 1.23 and vica versa

3. A lori who can grab the helicopter

4. A new character

5. Some cool episodes, created by uers (like Tomb Rabbit) built-in in the "choose-episode" screen

6. New Mode: JDC Duel. This means your duel results will be directly posted to JDC*



JCS:

1. Disable useless events

2. Advanced "hurt" event: Choose how much hearts you'll loose

3. Ability to place Trigger stuff on the foreground and background layers

4. Ability to add some extra layer

5. Make TNT powerup visible



*About Jazz wish 6: I dont know how to make this cheating proof. So dont ask me that . Prolly I forgot something. Sorry

yeah basicly the same thing 4 me and for single player(sp) you can choose the colours of your players-i dunno if thats a good idea but it sounds good 2 me

No way that is would be able to work... if a roast happened that wouldn't really count and all it wouldn't work...

This is impossible. It goes against the way everything in JJ2 works.



We would like to have JJ2 totally backwards compatable.

I think that Epic deliberately made made it so that you can't put events in the foreground and background layers because it would make gameplay slow.

no, I don't think it'll slow it down all that much, if we only use it for things like trigger... not several layers with bosses...

Ugggh... I really need a much better hexeditor... It would appear as though defining each tile (Hey, I've only been experimenting with one tile) on a different scale... 4th tiles, 4th events...





Can't sombody just sort of hack JCS becuase I know no programming?

I have spoken with Arjan (programmer). He claims the source code should be released when "it all blows off" which should be about the end of this year.



Then all of you people can have fun programming, but what I recommend is putting together a team of people (add a webiste for suggestions) that can all program stuff well and make good on all working things.



For instance: Devan could easily be the new playable character, because he has all the necessary animations.



Also what I think should be added: All empty events (stuff that just doesnt work) should be removed.



Team chat should work in both ctf and team battle.



Lori should be able to double jump, as should devan.



Triggers should be able to affect team or player numbers.



More guns, like enemy guns there are should be available for pickup.

Laser shield should work, but only for 10 secs, not 40.



I have many more suggestions, but ill can it for now, cause i dont want to type anymore...

Chuck should also be a fully playable character...



not to mention... Devan should only use a double jump of transforming quickly, then detransforming... and his down+jump should also be like a power up gun thing (weapon 0.5?)

You should be able to turn into Flip also.

And fix that annoying repeating flag bug. That drives me insane. And get the blade gun from the OEM JAzz2. That looks so cool.

Actually...you CAN choose your colours in single player, and I'm working on a program to do it (I'll post it on J2O as soon as it is finished).



And about 1.25...hmmm
  • Have memory addresses for cheating change every game, but keep non-cheating ones the same (otherwise great programs like CoolText and ChatLogJJ2 wouldn't work)
  • Finish all the events in JCS
  • Simple macros for levels (where you can put in IF statements and things, like "if (player.number == 1) { Level.Tile[24][12] = TILE_BLANK_TILE; } else { Level.Tile[24][12] = Level.Tileset.Tile[2]; }" I don't know if that would be the way macros work, but what I just wrote would make a blank tile for the server, but I real tile for everyone else. This could be useful, but not limited to, hotels and employee rooms (for those who still use them).) Maybe also some things to automatically add you to the hall of fame if you beat the test level, and other things such as that.
  • Voice Chat (for people with microphones)
  • and much more...
