Hmm, reminds me a lot of Entervoid. : )

I don't know if I'll participate since I'm usually slow with getting things done on time.

I almost spat out my breakfast all over the keyboard when you mentioned me in one sentence with Rad and Michelangelo ( one of which will obviously win ).

...but for that alone, I have to participate of course. And for the fun. And MONEYS!

*encourages Dal and 2xGJ*

So, some things aren't clear to me. For one, you speak of art in very general terms in the long version, but explicitly say "draw" in the nutshell. It would definitely be fun if someone used a song as an entry... or a poem. Or.. culinary art? Clarify plz

And more importantly, it doesn't really make sense that person 2 is always the winner in the actual pieces of art by default. Shouldn't the conclusion be left open in order to be decided by the poll?

Any art will do, but I use "draw" to mean "Make Art" because I couldn't think of another word.

Person 2 doesn't win, per se, but seeing as they get to finish the fight, they probably end with an upper hand.

Hmm, I was imagining some sort of.. ending where both are still standing and it's not yet clear who would fall to his knees or something like that.. *is trying not to spoil the actual idea he got*

Well, what you say makes sense in one way, but from the perspective of who actually does win.. not really. Open endings should probably be encouraged.

PS: I enter Fawriel, of course. =P

So, if your art form is Culinary and you're fighting someone who draws, you are expected to portray the encounter in the form of an epic soufflé? I don't actually plan on doing this; my Culinary is terrible, it's just a funny prospect.

I'll concoct (as in, draw, animate, or model) something later.

...by the way, this is probably obvious, but... we have to submit a picture of the character we're entering, right?

EDIT: Never mind, I guess I'll.. have to whip up something then. And I really hope you don't need 2^n characters, because if anyone's entering now, we'd need another 7 to join to get 16. ^^;

Right, we currently have 2^n entries. I'm going to wait a week more, and if we don't have 4 or more more entries by then, we will play with the eight we have now.

I was going to make something hard to draw, but halfway through said "screw this" and came up with a snake.

His name is Axle. He's a cobra. He likes to invent, and he hates Oscar Wilde.

I propose that if we hit 12 people we just stop there and have the last fight be a 3-person FFA.

What will the turn order be? It can't really be a back-forth-back-forth like a 2-person one.

Also, Nobody, can the first post link to my SWF file? The image isn't my entry, it's just to make the link prettier.

I would rather use a n^2 number of people, but if I have to use 12, the last three will play against each other in three sets of pairs and the total votes in each thread will be added and a winner declared.

And I encourage Dal and 2xGJ to join, even if all you do is forfit it makes the elimanation charts easier.

And suddenly "Axle" makes a lot more sense.

We should probably all write little somethings about the character's we're entering, because the fewest entries are characters everyone knows, heck, in some cases I don't even know what they ARE.

Cori, half squirrel, half fox. That'll have to do for the moment until I fix it up a little - it was a rough pen sketch that turned into... something.

We're so close to 16 it'd be a shame if we didn't make it. Am I allowed to enter two fighters and do two battles at once? I have another art style I want to take a spin at, but don't want to lose my excuse to animate a snake. And it's not likely the final battle will end up a Rad vs Rad anyway.
