Box Shot Collection

Haze doesn't always respond to my emails, so I guess I'll post these pictures here. Various Jazz stuff I've found that Haze doesn't mention.

This JJ1 box amuses me because it gives the impression that JJ1 is all cutscenes-style.

Couple game collections featuring JJ1.

Strange CD, probably from one of the boxes Haze accepted from me, though who knows...

Nothing too special, just pretty.

I'm guessing this is the source of the prototype JJ1 shots.

*shrugs*

Korean JJ2.

While we're at it, Haze also doesn't have the back of the US JJ2 box.

EDIT- Updated link

"Romware proudly presents"?
JJ1 isn't their game, is it?!

They were probably the publisher for wherever this box comes from. The Epic logo is at the bottom of both the manual and the CD, too.

The 6th picture doesn't even look very good , it looks like jazz is holding a pencil instead of his gun.

Wait, you've sent me mail? I didn't see any in my inbox (which might explain why I didn't reply). Perhaps it ended up in my spamfilter?

Not recently. This is mostly stuff I found quite some time ago, then I came across the cool-looking Korean image and decided to just post stuff as a bunch.

Ah, I see. Would you mind if I add these finds then? To make up for my lack of keeping up.

Actually the prototype shots came from an interview with Arjan on some old diskmagazine.

Whoops!

Well, while we're at it... anyone else with photos of strange/unseen/foreign Jazz Jackrabbit boxes?

I have the front cover and disk of HH98, if that helps, and I don't think it's a standard version since it's got a free trial of America Online in it. I'll upload it as soon as I get near a scanner.

Hmm, curious. Any differences with the ones here?

I know, it just surprises me that someone (most likely non-endorsed) decided to put out the second episode and market it as a stand-alone game. Same with, for instance, that other package which only included the first three episodes.

It doesn't surprise me, considering they did that all the time with Ep. 1.
I would have killed for a stand alone Ep 2 when I was a little kid.

I'm not really surprised either, I own a box with christmas chronicles in it that was marketed as Jazz Jackrabbit3. Some "publishers" are just that bold.

You wouldn't happen to have a scan or photo of that lying around, would you?
