the thing is, when i play my freind on jazz2, we cant make a joinable server, when we do, the other 1 cant join, it just says pinging...pinging...pinging and we only live like, down the road from each other, what gives?

edit: i can ping other people no prob, but not my freind

Can someone how to get our server working and why does it do that.

From the looks of it I'd say your UDP traffic is getting blocked. Either of you must have a firewall or something that is blocking th UDP traffic. You should set it to forward the traffic on ports 10052 and 10054.

im not sure how one would do that so i'll try "game mode" on my zone alarm firewall or disable it alltogether and get my freind to do the same

Turn off Windows firewall at the server-end, and see what happens.
