Your objective is simple, to remake the infamous Chemical Warfare (capture4).

Rules:

Must be a remake of Chemical Warfare (Duh)
I will not accept previously made remakes of Chemical Warfare, if there happen to be any.
Only one remake of Chemical Warfare per author will be accepted.
Only jj2 compatible remakes of Chemical Warfare will be accepted.
The remake must be yours or the team involved (teams are allowed).
I can deny any remake for any reason.

Suggestions:

Try using tileset alterations of Labrat (Labrat P for example).
A Gametype change is encouraged.
Make something Unconventional/messed up, try to keep the level similiar to Chemical Warfare in some aspect.

As for a prize: I dunno. Last time, the winner of my previous remake contest was too paranoid to give me a coherent address to send the money. I will try to organize something special for the winner, though it may be a community related prize.

Deadline: July 21st 2007.

Yes, Chemical Warfare lacks defining traits which means a lot of features will have to be kept in tact and thus the level will have to be something non-standard. This is not an easy contest, the name states it.

No size limitations and symmetrical remakes are ofcourse allowed, though I don't reccomend it as symmetrical layouts are highly standardized as it is. If you manage to pull it off, you're a genius.

Also, I may make an example remake of Chemical Warfare for this contest.

You guys have plently of time, you'll need it. Don't be afraid to try anything new or different.

I gave up awhile back because the level design didn't lend itself well to Single Player without being far too open or far too linear. I'm sure someone more creative in remaking level design than I am could come up with something though.

Also he can deny anything for any reason because it's HIS contest. I doubt he's really going to deny anything, he's simply stating it so if someone complains he can say "hope you got 10bux".

The only comment that was really negative was the first one. The second one was a complaint that you're not cooperating with the rest of the people in the community project (albeit with a sharp tongue), and the third one was just criticism.
