..For the good old days.
![]() In Saturday (15/9) I'm planning to hold an one-day duel tourney. That means participants would have to spend (rarely more than) half a day playing JJ2. Mappool CLASSIC:
Just reply here with your MSN\ICQ\AIM address(es) if you're willing to compete. :gabber: Last edited by R3ptile; Sep 14, 2007 at 01:31 AM. |

In fact I just remembered that Saturday is the only day this week I will be away for most of the day. So sorry I cannot participate right then. Good luck everyone anyway.

If it was a smaller kind, starting earliest at 17 GDT I could possibly make it, otherwise I'm sure out too. As well, there's always Sunday.

Sounds like fun. Odin314@gmail.com is my MSN, you already have me added.
One question though: When will this tourney start? Any time after 12 PM EST would be really great (so I can sleep in), but I can do as early as 6 AM EST. If I had more time, I would make a duel map specifically for this event, though it would suck and 2 days to make a level is kinda short for my caliber. |

Hey.
Due to certain circumvents, the tourney will start only at 17.00 GMT (= 19.00 CET). That means the first round(s?) will play shorter than originally planned; One single level to either 5 points or 15 minutes. The tournament's method will be single elimination. I can already see a decent amount of exciting matches there ![]() ..and maybe if this will work out, we might have more tourneys like this one in the future ![]() Have fun, both competitors and followers! due to circumstances beyond my control, I'm going to have to withdraw from this tourney.
Very sorry I can't play, really wish I could, but my schedule simply won't allow me to do this. I hope this goes off really well and that future ones are planned. |

In case the result is still tied after the timelimit, sudden-death mode is turned on (next player to score 1 point wins the game). For this stage, players are supposed to contact each other and organize the games themselves, using the MSN addresses above is strongly recommended. And yes, that means players should make sure the time actually is counted by someone (usually the host). Report the results here or at IRC after your game is done. You have time to finish your match till EXACTLY 18.15 GMT! Good luck, everyone! |

I hope I am early enough to submit my and FreeFull's duel which ended 5-0 to me in Diamondus Warzone. Was delayed because the lack of a host(Ana hosted right after Robee vs Sucer ended), but was done in about 5 minutes. Nice game overall.
