Best Jazz Jackrabbit game
I want you to tell which Jazz Jackrabbit game is the best, in your opinion. If you know another (dark/unknown) JJ game, please tell it here.
PD: My favourite is Jazz 2.

TSF, as it has all the superior engine and level design capabilities of JJ2 (seriously, try making anything complicated with JJ1, it's just not feasible), but with lots of added stuff and support for tilesets of a more reasonable size.

I like OpenJazz.

Generally every one of theese games has something interesting to offer that the others haven't, even JJ1. In terms of usability JJ2 is just the better game and then we have TSF with even more capability, but that's it. Since this is a poll rating the games and not other outside factors then TSF is the best of the bunch and it's quite obvious.

Nah, I don't really like TSF. The functionality to use bigger tilesets and some extra level design stuff is cool, but the game also gives some new glitches and graphical errors. I still like 1.23 until there's a 1.25 patch, fanmade or not..

I'm torn between JJ1 and TSF.

The existing game content (like levels, bosses, etc) was better in JJ1. I only prefer JJ2 because the game is editable and has online play.

there should only be jazz2 , the expansion packs were just a new chareter (what sucks) and new levels , the jcs 1.24 is better , but its more about fun gameplay. So I think no choice on the jazz expansions.
I found jazz 1 more harder. jazz 3d wasn't completed and a alpha can no way beat jazz 2 or 1. jazz advantage was great but not as good as 2 , dispite it ruining jazz's image. EDIT:il just go with jazz2 , (not because online play because that can always change.

Since your problem is one thats easily solvable but you're not doing anything about it and your example is completely outlandish, and not only that but you felt obligated to also tell me this over IRC before making a public post about a little joke, I just have to say if you wanted attention it'd be easier if you just left the house. |

n00b not everybody can speak English as well as you. That doesn't make you any better than them. Please do not try to act as if you are better than somebody because this is an online forum for god sakes, not a spelling bee. As long as you can understand them, then their fine.

The "it" rule is the one I can never remember D=, but I'll leave it in for irony.
@Drmoo- I'm aware of that, but (and correct me if I'm wrong) isn't Ryder's first language english? Also in both rebuttals he blamed his keyboard and did not play the language card which doesn't seem like a good play if indeed he had that card in his hand. |

Well, it says he's from the UK, meaning he's British, and everyone knows that means he natively speaks Ultra English, which is like regular English except grammatically perfect and belittling to everyone who doesn't speak it. Also, it enables the speaker to fly.
On topic, I agree with Slaz about JJ1 and 2. The levels and bosses in 1 were better - definitely harder.

Well, if you're talking about the game itself (the official levels packed within the game) my choice is Jazz 2 v1.3, but if you mean the game as a whole, I'll choose TSF, as it includes Lori and a better JCS. Still, I enjoyed much more 1.3 than TSF the first time I ever played them.

I liked the levels/bosses in JJ1 better than JJ2, but the latter makes everything look prettier. HH/CC was just a small bunch of snow levels, although they do look nice when used well. TSF just adds on an incomplete character and some extra levels that have no real storyline in particular for me.

Why do you say that Lori isn't finished? You can play with her very well, although she hasn't got any super jump movement. But, you're right about that the new levels don't have any story at all.

Jazz Jackrabbit 2 was definitely the best out of the two games. I just wish JJ3 was released.
