Try MID2XM. Disclaimer: I only tried it once many years ago, so I can't really help you with it.

This gives me that strange thought again, of JJ2 being supporting the .midi format..

Well, I tried putting the .mid extension behind the filename, but JCS didn`t really like the format, that`s why I`d ask.

OK, I am going to try out that program.
Allright, I tried it out. One problem: It doesn`t seem to convert it so that it plays a sound? It converts it, but it converts it to an empty sound. So, you don`t hear anything. It`s not my sound, it works, it`s not JJ2, it`s music sound thingy is on optimal. So, what can be the problem?

OK, so I tried this other prgram, called MODplugtracker. To my surprise it reads midi flawlessly, and it lets me convert it to .it, .s3m, .anythingjazz2canread! So, for all you that had the same problem as me, use MODplug, as I didn`t get that other program to work...

Thanks in advance,
JangoCF(A.K.A.: Shrooblord)

Modplug is the only 'music editor' program installed on my computer. And yeah, it can open all common tracker formats plus it understands midi files and can even convert all of them to mp3 files. Jazz2 doesn't support the midi format directly though, it would be pretty cool if it did. You know, recording stuff on your keyboard and then adding it to your levels..

Well, I think if you want to make it sound like a MIDI the best, you should convert it to XM. The only WARNING it gives you is something about sampling which I din`t quite understand nor care about, as I didn`t hear any diffrence between the MIDI or the XM...
