				Installer refuses to work

So after a long time, I tried playing JJ2 on Win7 again, but it wouldn't run, even the plusified exe. It complained about Anims.j2a to be broken, but I know that I could previously run it on Win7, so I grabbed the install CD (LK Avalon version) for the first time in ten years and tried reinstalling the game. However, now all the relevant game files have been replaced by 0-byte files. So how do you install JJ2 from CD these days?

Quick Update: I installed the game in a WinXP virtual machine and copied the files over, however I'm still getting an access violation when trying to run the game, or with compatiblity settings, a black screen. :\ Works without problems in said XP VM.

Don't download the game illegally. You will get caught :P

			No. Epic doesn't care.

Also, LK Avalon doesn't work with plus. It even says so in the plus readme. I'd put a download to the original TSF, but for some stupid reason, abandonware is "illegal". If you have skype, you can private mail me to ask for my contact. Then, I can help more easily.

			Sounds like a damaged CD.
