Why not no avitars?

It makes the board look a lot cleaner without them.

Why don't we get to make our own avatars?

Also, why can't we make custom status?

custom status would probably result in power strugles, trying to be better than everyone else, being childish, etc.

Well I remember at the message board on Dimension Jazz, then people could choose their own custom status thing and it would appear UNDER their actual status thing. Like

Is that what you mean by custom status?

I don't think that would be a problem, because the real status is still there.

And for avatars, I don't like them either. Just put an image in your signature or something.

I liked the secondary custom status', and I don't see any problems with them. If someone has the time, I think it would be neet if those were added. They're unobtrusive and people can have their own nifty little comment near their name.

I don't like signatures nearly as much. I rarely even look at them.
