ok, as some people have seen. i made the 14 j1blocks levels.
the ones that count down in next level system, and that are all based on "smallworld" everyone seems to hate them. i would like to know, how can they be improved upon, or what can i do to make them recieve a higher rating than the horrible 1.3 they are getting. i do not wish to abandon them as i spent so long. please advise me veteran level makers. i will download some of the highest rated levels to see what they have. also i need adivice on tilesets. the only drawing programs i have are adobe photoshop, paint, and imaging. is it bad tileset, too small, or not enough events. what is it????? |

Try using a different tileset.

Try making SP levels. There's plenty of MP levels out there already and some people are better at making certain levels than others.

Improve the design, and the eyecandy, and the gameplay anc change the tileset to a fixed version of Bloxonius. If you're lucky, the levels shall become Euphonius. As opposed to Erroneous.

1. Make the gameplay circular (you can go round the level)
2. Don't make dead ends 3. Spend much time on eyecandy 4. Be evil 4. Don't add puzzles to MP levels 5. Don't add areas-that are-hard-to-get-out-of. I think this improves your levels. |
